He should be ashamed of himself. A senator from Kogi, a thoroughly poor state that can hardly pay salaries of civil servants, that has no standard hospital that it can boast of. He is dancing among a set of people that have not seen electricity outage if 50 years!

One of the major problems with Nigeria is that we expect FG to everything.

Tuition in the university seems a heavy burden for FG. Lecturers too should make sacrifices, afterall they have room to make extra money through consulting and other things.

Many countries have stopped funding university education long ago. In most developed countries students take loans to pay through their schooling and payback when they start to work. This maybe difficult in Nigeria of today, but at least let lecturers also make sacrifices.

ASUU should stop holding everybody to ransom.

Lecturers enjoy a lot of benefits. They should not compare themselves to bankers who work morning to night and who can get sacked without benefits at short notices.

They should stop comparing themselves to senators, at least we know those ones are impostors interested only in their pockets!

Lecturers have access to grants. They write books that their students will read (the serious ones among them). And more.

Doctors, journalists, editors, engineers etc, all have to struggle to make a living. Lecturers too need to make more sacrifice.

How many times has ASUU gone on strike in the last ten years? Maybe ten times. Should they be taken serious?

We all know the issue - Tuition in government schools is too low to cater for the needs of universities. So, should FG print money and throw the economy into chaos?

The same way they advised Yaradua to kill Yussuf so that Boko Haram will die.

I am not from South East and I prefer a united Nigeria.

But PMB should realize that the agitation is real. People are tired of northern domination. Period.

Arewa Youths should keep quiet.

First, they are not youths!

If they want to protest, let them go to Sambisa. They should go and tell their brother Shekau to stop the violence. Afterall, vcharity begins at home.

PMB emerged because Jonathan did not listen to warnings. If he had sacked Diezani, and a few reckless officials he probably would have won.

IPOB emerged because of the insensitivity of the North who have been so selfish to corner the resources of Nigeria to itself. Nnamdi Kanu is now a hero, because he read correctly, that his people were maligned and it was time for someone to voice it.

If care is not taken, and very urgently too, many 'Kanus' will emerge in different regions of the country.

That can spell doom.

PMB, it is time to act. Government is not only about catching thieves. You need to lead the nation out of crises and to avoid the nation getting into another major crisis. Think and act now!

Status quo has failed. Your government is getting more unpopular by the day.

Restructure the country to reflect equity, fairness and true justice.

And if you think that you dont have the stamina and mental energy to effect true change, resign now, when you still have some ovation.

PMB once said that Nigeria was structured to fail.

That was before he got elected.

Now, he thinks he can succeed with the same structure.

The truth is that our leaders hardly know what is going on and have low appreciation of Economics. FG must have a growth plan that is ambitious not only in content but in speed. If you want change you must address both VOLUME and VELOCITY. It has to be to an extent that the publics understand what you are doing, buy into it and are ready to form a coalition to drive it through.

The Senate launches a plan today, the Executive launches another tomorrow, both out of tangent, and then they get stuck fighting one another. A good example is Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Why dont they just sit together and do things for common good?

Now tell me where that money is being taken from. Now tell me who funds that pocket. Then you'll see why we DESERVE to know what exactly is going on and the way forward.

Valid questions - Just as it is valid to ask who the sponsor is for Jim Iyke and Co and to ask what their end game is? They need to convince some people that they are not being sponsored for something that could be a worse end game!

I know Osinbajo has limitations. I have a feeling there are all kinds of power struggle going on even inside the presidency.

But PMB returning hale and hearty, devoid of any sickness, does not solve the myriads of problems.

And I o not think these demonstrators are doing it just because they love Nigeria so much.

There are vested interests everywhere. That is one of the big problems we have.

There is political BH, political IPOB, political Arewa, etc. They are distractions.

Nigerians must shun distractions and unite to push for apolitical progress.

There are three arms of government. Not one. Why are the other two seemingly dysfunctional? There are 36 states, why are they mostly ineffective? Champion Lagos is now filled with pot-holes and filth, because the people are still chasing shadows.

I am not a fan of PMB. I wish he could just resign or return. But I dont think his decision to do neither should turn into another militia.

Let us push for functional systems and institutions more than we push for functional persons.

Somebody in the Senate? Or some one in Lagos? Or maybe in Abuja?

If PMB resigns Osinbajo will be president, if PMB stays in London Osinbajo is president, though in acting capacity.

Perhaps that will make her stay in Nigeria, and not end up abroad.

Like Boko Haram, like IPOB, they are distractions to progress.

IPOB may make a headway maybe if the referendum clause can be placed in the constitution, but the Ekweremadu led review team carefully deleted, possibly out of wisdom that some ill-guided people can take advantage of it.

Now, let IPOB try to get that back if they can succeed. Otherwise, all the current noise will only breed hatred and animosity.

To think that all the noise about Kanu is only on social media! Shut that out and the agitation goes under.

Nigeria can be great, and power can be wrestled from the feudal masters. It is possible. But it should not be by hatred and violence.

People should know better that Kanu will run and leave his people to die if there is a battle today.
