PoliticsRe: N17m SUV For House Of Representative Members By December by Dee60: 11:32am On Aug 07, 2017
On which roads will they drive these luxury cars?

What is wrong with the black race?

Is this not the same house that is stopping the completion Lagos-Ibadan expressway by failing to approve the budget?

And someone still thinks we have a democracy?

Its all an illusion, bro!

In Africa we practice pocketcracy.

What is wrong with the black man?

8 years as governor you looted the state dry.

Before leaving you enacted a law that will make the state serve you for life, by paying stupendous pensions.

Then you to to the Parliament to sit idle and continue the reckless behaviour.

You pass no constructive laws, yet you allocate billions to yourselves.

You cant but grab grab and grab, the way monkeys go after banana. Yet monkeys know when to stop but you dont!

In the meantime, citizens have started selling their infants for bags of rice.

Save us, Lord, from ourselves and from this reign of pocketocracy.

Yorubas una dey too conduse me

1) you are of course celebrating that some Igbo traders rejected Nnamdi Kanu attempts to come to Lagos

2) you are the same people angry that Igbo traders are take over Lagos with their so called 2x2 shops.

3) you say you are tired of one Nigeria

4) but severely condemned a Yoruba group trying to pursue Yoruba independence

This is the 21 century, the age of the internet, so everything you say or do is well recorded for future when the denials start.
Nigerians who are wise, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Fulani or whatsoever, understand that secession does not create a paradise for you.
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu Was Not Jobless Before He Embarked On IPOB And Biafra Mission by Dee60: 2:07pm On Aug 05, 2017
Leave Kanu alone.

Anyone can choose whoever he wants as leader. If Igbos choose him, then so be it. But I doubt they have chosen him.

What I find amusing is the fact that Igbos are trooping to South West in their thousands everyday, yet they want their 'home-land'!

If there is Biafra, will Igbos ever stay there?

So, what is the agitation about?

If Igbos make an exodus today, moving out to their future 'homeland', then the rest of the country will take the agitation serious.

But the Igbos wont go home. I can bet a million on that.

So, please find Kanu a job. Just like FFK, find them something to chop and their nerves will cool.

Yorubas are no slaves to anybody......

They are just smart enough to understand that secession does not solve the problems of Nigeria.

If not for anything, it will worsen it!

FFK has just shown that he does not even understand his kinsmen. He is OYO! On his own totally.

But at any rate, the way the man has been talking, it is obvious that he does not belong here.

IPOB, ffk is hereby donated to you, totally, for free.

I have said it before, those who call Nnamdi kanu a freedom fighters are people who are completely oblivious of who he truly is . I listened to his broadcast everyday for more than 8 months , while I was in Onitsha.

That Guy is an extreme Hate preacher.
Nnamdi Kanu chose his enemies especially APC members and their supporters because he knew that by doing so, he would gain the support of most Igbos who were still crying over the failure of GEJ. He Called them all manners of Abominable and unprintable names.
He made Buhari, Okorocha , Oshomole ,Joe Igbokwe Osinbanjo etc his sworn enemies and not the other way round as he wants people to believe.

Though I agree with some of his views, I must Admit that Nnamdi Kanu is a hate preacher and a war monger .

He has come to cause generational conflict amongst natural neighbors.

I am Igbo, but I cannot be fooled by his Hate messages that tends to make me hate my Neigbour all for some greedy political explanation.

Peace to all men of Godwill...Udo diri ndi ni'ne choro' udo.
He does not seem to be normal. That is why FG has left him alone.

Somehow, he talks like FFK!

Kuje - what are you injecting into their brains such that when they come out their eyes are red and their speeches filled with hate?

Inside Kuje - what are you feeding them with?

How can a man refer to his own kinsmen as pigs?

And some people take him serious?

Seriously......

The act was carried out by your boy in the Senate! Nobody can be deceived by this.

PMB got there on the promise to fight corruption but now corruption is fighting PMB and his team.

Atiku is scheming to get there on the promise of re-structuring. Its a smart scheme, but can the people be fooled twice?

The man Atiku placed in the Senate is fighting against restructuring while Atiku is promising it!

Who gave them permits to build in the first place? That person, body or institution should pay for the houses.

In Nigeria, we dont know which is worse, military or civilian!

Is it true that Africa needs to be re-colonized?

I see that Nigerians are the worse enemies of Nigerians, ditto Africa.

Once you give an African power he wants to steal, cheat and use his/her office to grossly oppress the citizens.

What kind of democracy is this? Can it really work? Can this photo-copied or photo-shopped democracy really work in Africa?

Two things.

She finds it hard to trust men. Someone like you may have tried something funny with her, and she finds it hard to trust.

Two, you live a strange life. Its strange to have a bed in the office, sleep over or work on Sundays. Go home to your wife and family! With your kind of life, even your wife cant trust you, though she may not be able to say so.

She is already noticing strange things, like expecting her to bring food into your tiny bedroom where the only obvious thing there is a bed. Haba! If you have a daughter will you watch her do such a 'job'?

Funny as this sounds, he has followers, mostly from the wandering Jewish tribes.

Anyway, his fellow unchained mad dogs are always praising him, that may be the driving force.

Vote for who?

The problem today is that there is no more difference between APC or PDP or Labour Party. No ideology. No leadership. Or tell me, who is the leader of PDP or APC or Labour Party? No clear lines to demarcate their thinking. No compelling proposition. No passion for great progress.

The lesson of Macron's France is that a truly new mass movement is needed accross the country that will shun the old and wicked ways of doing politics in Nigeria. A new set of people with high quality thinking and a readiness to serve. When you look at Osinbajo you will be encouraged that you have good people in this country. But I think he is in the midst of wolves!

Until we have a truly new breed, ready to shun corruption, ready to push Nigeria to the top echelon in the comity of nations, all these gragra elections may lead us nowhere.

I have no worries about Saturday as I do not know any of the candidates.

Confused people

As election is approaching, they want to deceive voters again

Imagine Rochas Okorocha with a State Police, he would have eliminated PDP members in IMO State

Imagine Aregbeshola with a State Police, he would have locked civili servants and pensioners in Osun state over his inability to pay them their salaries and pension, he would have locked up Senator Adeleke, Davido's Father, LAUTECH students and PDP members

Imagine a Wike with a State Police, Amaechi will never enter Rivers State again, he would flee for his life

Imagine El Rufai with a State Police means a governor like El Rufai will beome Adolf Hitler of Kano State, he would have crushed and wiped out Senator Sheu Sanni, Christians in Kaduna and Opposition party members with his State police

Imagine ObasekiPhilip Shuaibu/Oshiomole with a State Police they would have wipe put PDP members in Edo State

Imagine Okowa with State Police, he would have eliminated APC members in Delta State.

No to State Politics, our Politicians will use it to witch hunt, victimize, kill and massacre.

Imagine Yayaha Bello of Kogi State with State Police, he would have ordered the secret extra judicial killing of Dino Melaye
Think the idea is for state police and federal police to exist side by side...state for civil cases while federal handles the criminal cases....so that those funny governors will not be able to muzzle federal police. Things like traffic control (including checking particulars), securing premises and people, escorts etc can be taken off the federal police and federal can then focus on more serious matters. State Police should not carry weapons. They should be civil in their approach to handling matters.
PoliticsRe: Senate Begins Move To Separate NFIU From EFCC by Dee60: 1:45pm On Jul 20, 2017
BetaThings:
You really think the Senate want a very strong anti-corruption environment?
Corruption in Nigeria is both endemic and systemic. Every where you turn you will find it, hospitals, schools, roadside mechanics, everywhere. I wont hold brief for the Senate, but fighting symptoms will not give lasting results. Why single out the Senate? Do you think the executive really want a strong anti-corruption environment? If yes, what are the cabals up to? Is it just power? Is there not corruption in that?

When people point accusing fingers they create rancor instead of rapport, and make engagement difficult. The losers at the end of the day will be the governed.

There are only 2 people in the executive talking about anti-corruption (maybe 3). There is no critical mass. Unfortunately, the executive is not 3 people. When last did the head of any MDA come out to discuss with the public on how they want to fight corruption? Apart from a few statements by Lai Mohammed who else in government has said anything lately?
PoliticsRe: Senate Begins Move To Separate NFIU From EFCC by Dee60:
I had a lot of criticism for Saraki's senate but I am having to rethink.

People are commenting here without reading the post. The Senate is only trying to comply with international guidelines. It is the FG that will still position people in the NFIU and they can post Magu there if they like.

The FG has spent a lot of time and resources trying to nail Saraki and now that CCB has acquitted him, what will the FG do? CCB acquitted Tinubu too, and what did FG do at that time?

Nigeria is confronted with 2 cancers - lawlessness and corruption. FG has been doing a holier than thou and practicing selective prosecution. FG, instead of engaging Nigerians and engaging the other arms, has instead gone out to label the Judiciary as a bunch of crooks and Parliament also as a bunch of thieves. If there are no thieves in the FG probably the method would have worked.

Time is running fast. Unfortunately, cancers have ravaging effects. If you dont kill it it might kill the nation.

There is no Magu here. Deal with the problem. The fight over Magu has now paralyzed the government and inadvertently paralyzed investments and growth.

The Senate may have a lot of issues and blames, but I think they are capitalizing on the fact that the FG is rather too myopic, and its key officials actually sound very incompetent. The federal ministers seem to be clueless. People say they are not given the room to operate. Well, That does not change the fact that they are perceived as clueless. Worse case, all you hear is cabal this, cabal that, meaning the FG is so divided that it can hardly function. Acting President says something, attorney general sings a different tune. How does that work? The Saraki you are castigating has at least been able to hold the Senate as one undivided group! In some sense, that is leadership.

In the political game, Saraki seems to be winning. That may be a hard bit to swallow but it may just work out for his advantage, just because the FG has boxed itself into a corner, by not meeting the yearning of Nigerians.

Let us face it quickly - Not everything the Senate does should be seen as bad and not everything the FG does should be seen as good. Government should work together for common good, all led by the FG. Failure to do that means government as a whole has failed the people. Sad to say, this seems the situation now.
