Count me in........... It is high time we shoved politicians aside........ Their ways are evil and full of deceit...... |
When will the Police stop forcing road users to pay? When will Customs stop the blatant demand for 'something' at our airports and seaports? When will rich men stop hitting the cars of others with their motorcade (and sirens) on highways? When will you be able to get your passport within 3 days without paying extra? And so on! That is when it will become obvious that you are fighting corruption. Right now it is kwaruption you are fighting!!! |
1. That several states are owing salaries is NO excuse to shut down hospitals!!! I hope those who are saying 'its not only Ekit' will mind that. 2. Fayose claims to be a performer - but he is evidently failing where it matters! Health is wealth. 3. Even the hospital itself looks so shabby. Nigerian governors spend billions to build and re-build state houses and pennies on hospitals. Yet, the people hail them!!! 4. Okupe was right - A good part of the problem of Nigeria is plenty of gullible followers (the rulers are smart - they know what they are doing). Can you imagine a specialist hospital looking so sick?? You wont even see this in Syria or Pakistan. Something is wrong. But the people continue to salute and hail non-performers and looters. |
This kind of post irritates me so badly! People like this writer are part of the problem. They TALK TALK but when they get there they fail to make the difference. Nigerians should stop this 'messiah syndrome'. We have systemic problems and something has to give in. No matter how good the executive is, there is a house that is waiting to paralyze it. No matter how good the house is there is a judiciary that will clip its wings. Nigeria needs to re-structure for progress. Period! |
He is talking as if when (or if) he ever gets there he will do any better!! |
See how a Nigerian graduate is murdering English! |
Fellow needs deliverance |
When it is Africa they dont mind to divide and destabilize us but when it is in their backyard they refute and reject it with venom! Now they wont talk democracy because it is not in their favour. They wont talk about rights of self-determination!!! Africa, wise up!!! |
VP in suit. The only person there with readiness to work. PMB too! The others? I dont know. |
What does he do? |
Dharniel:What is the use of this kind f agency? Should be scrapped like yesterday. |
Spylord48:It works the other way round. Once you create more demand through export farmers will be encouraged to produce more. That is how economies grow! So, it is a good step by FG to support yam export. The value is very low though! Annual export cannot be up to 1m USD so we need to look at exporting finished goods instead which is where the stiff competition is. |
In all things thank God. Dont compare yourself with others. Thank God for what He has given you. Look at us in Nigeria, with less than ten thousand dollars you buy a car, register it and get on the road. We have land plenty plenty. |
AFRICA - TALK, TALK, TALK, TALK, TALK, TALK, TALK, TAlK, TALK and MORE TALK and even MORE TALK. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SEE ACTION? THEY HAVE BEEN TALKING SINGLE CURRENCY FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS AT LEAST! |
President Buhari, God has given you another chance, please immediately re-structure Nigeria. Collapse the states into maximum 6 provinces and let provinces hold majority of their resources. Do it quickly so that Atiku does not come to replace you! |
RationalTV:All the youths that have gone there, from Madam Daizy to Bro FF and a host of others have done worse! They have chopped and stolen with youthful energy! |
The intent was good. Th money should have been rapidly deployed for development and for projects. Go to New York, you will see a lot of roads, towers developed by the Ports Authority, Postal Service etc. But here, they would rather send the money to one madam in Aso Rock for elections. NOI should have known that. And of course, under no circumstances should she has asked FIRS to spend tax income. That is terribly wrong. Senate, it is time to correct the wrongs. |
The regime oozes out putrid smell on daily basis. They are still learners in governance after 2 years. Amazing. FG should admit it lacks direction. And worse case, they have left the economy in very bad shape! What have they really achieved and what do they want to achieve? I dont seem to know. Electricity tariff has hit the roof. Diesel prices have skyrocketed again. And there is no light! Where is all the TSA money? Where is the recovered loot? What's up? |
Senate again? All traction no movement! |
We must restructure NOW to 4 states: North South East West Enough of the south did this, north didnt do this! One nation - 4 regions, and let everyone gp and develop themselves. |
Complete show of ignorance. This is how many Nigerians assume they are experts in Economics. The value of your currency is not measured by the figure it exchanges against other currencies but what it can buy. 300 Naira can buy you a loaf of bread in Nigeria but can 10 Kenyan shillings buy you that same loaf? When you change that money what can it buy? That is the true value. Your nominal value does not mean much. |
Share the money to all Nigerians. |
I dont live in the SE and I am not from there. Truth is, this is so ill-timed! When lat did the Army give vaccines anywhere? Why now? |
The penalty for rape is not stiff enough maybe because bigwigs in power also participate in this crime somehow! |
The moment I read that letter I knew Kachikwu had taken his ego too far! His comments sounded like a baby crying over spilled milk. This was a job you had before - and you gt removed. If they trusted you would they have removed you in the first place? When you are taken off a job the rule is - look away, unless you are re-called to contribute. Baru's response was so sound - technically. Kachikwu just made a mess of himself. Actually, he possibly should have excused himself when he was relieved and given a lesser (in terms of importance) job as minister of state. |
So you knew? |
South Western Herdsman! |
Toketimt:Kachikwu played into their hands. I think he has dug a hole for himself. He forgot that he was a minister of state. It is very possible that PMB has been avoiding him because there are loads of allegations on him sitting on PMB's table. He went on complaining how the board has not been carried along. Even in the private corporate settings this happens a bit! Its Corporate Politics 101! Now Baru has kept mute, leaving everyone to guess. That is how come northerners are more politically savvy! The pile of pressure is not on him really but on PMB and you never judge a case on the basis of what one party said! |
Ibe Kachikwu goofed a bit. He said contracts for 24 billion were given without NNPC board approval. That's not new. If the board is proving hard to get some management go ahead since their entities cannot lay idle. Secondly, mere mention of that amount Nigerian e-rats started claiming 24billion was stolen! he ought to have known that going to the press to say 'spending not approved' will soon be read as 'money stolen'. |
seunmsg:You need to understand Fulanis. They dont care! I thought PMB will be different and voted for him. He has proved me wrong. Nepotism and feudalism run in their blood. |
