Not a problem. I will advise that once the POF is complete, push everything to FD or Mutual funds.

You need 1 year Canadian experience to qualify for CEC.

How does the public policy exemption thing work ? I received ITA in November 2020, birthday was in December and I submitted e-apr in January. I believe my points dropped after by birthday but also read of a public policy exemption that could be applied but don't know how it works. Is it automatic or I have to apply for that too ?

Your age is locked after ITA.

Does she have to select one or she can use all?
Would workin in 3 different fields affect her application

She can use the experience with 3 years. 3 years gives max points for work experience.

She can add the remaining 2 years too, if she likes but won't add to her CRS score.

I just discovered that I didn't merge our IELTS with WES and school certificates, I omitted it for my husband and I. AOR is 15th Dec.

Should I merge the two IELTS result and submit it through webform immediately? Or send them differently. Will it affect our application after sending webform?

NOC X (Primary Occupation) - 2 years 2 months
NOC Y (Secondary Occupation) - i. 9 months contract work
ii. [7 months break in between]
iii. 6months permanent work ongoing now

I know the primary occupation must be at least a year continuous work to be eligible of which I am from NOC X.

My question is, will that 7 month gap in between NOC Y (Secondary Occupation) disqualify me from getting 3 years as I’ve done 15months (9+6) as it stands now?

I opened a Microfinance bank account for the sole purpose of putting my POF there so I dont touch it. Is it okay to use a Microfinance Bank Statement as my POF or do I have to move the money to my commercial bank account?

My 2nd question is what exchange rate does one use for POF? Just crazy how the naira keeps nosediving!

Good day seniors in the house. Please I'm planning to take BCS in IT to boost my crs score. I will like to know if I'll be paying the same amount I paid in evaluating my degree to Wes and also how many points do I stand to gain with an additional BCS certificate.

Lastly, as someone that studied computer science, do I need to start from the level one of BCS which is certificate in BCS or I just go straight to the second level of it which is diploma in bcs and is bcs useful in the Canadian job market. Will it affect your application if for this the reason, POF falls below the CAD equivalent? Eventhough when you submitted it was higher.

I only have a bachelors degree and was thinking of doing a certification to earn more points.. Please who knows if ARM Accredited Engineer (AAE) certificate is a acceptable or can be used.

or if anyone here can recommend a certification I can take that wont take time and not too expensive as a system engineer.

Still on this, Just to test, i used a Single and Continous 2 years as work experience is only, and i still got ineligible profile.
What could be wrong please, cos obviously its not the work experience.

Secondly, BSc and OND is not 2 or more certificates.
It's BSc + masters
BSc + Diploma (like pgd or those professional certification courses like BCS etc)
OND + HND
If you have BSc and OND, it doesn't mean anything. You only evaluate your BSc, that's one certificate. OND doesn't count with it.

You need to practice more. In Reading, all you answers are in the passages - don't think of answers from your head or use synonyms. Just find the answers from the passages.

Remarking reading at 5.5 is almost a waste of 15k. You writing can still be upgraded.
