Brainpower365: Hello friends, The organization that accept me after interview said they don't know much about COS and how to go about it. They are asking me to guard them on how they can get me a COS and the document that is required . I am confused about this because I thought they should understand better. Please what is your advise on this because I have relied them already with the link of UK visa site. But I need suggestion. Is there another way around it . to secure a work visa for health care assistant. Thanks Since they are willing to sponsor and asking you to guide them, then do just that. Refer them to the uk gov website where they can get proper information and follow the guidelines. I am saying this because I am in the same shoes as you and the company is really following up. https://www.gov.uk/uk-visa-sponsorship-employers |

Ifesinachi22: International Drivers license can't be used in the UK? It can be used in the uk but most employer wants full uk license. |

I will advise anyone coming for PGCE to have enough money for rent throughout the session and ensure that you pay the full amount of the school fees as the course is mentally and physically tasking. You won't have the opportunity for part time job until summer, unless that person is a superman. Not even only PGCE. Justwise has always been an advocate of this, as long as you are coming to study in the Uk, come prepared. |

Teejay13: Please, can someone explain to me what this level 3 exam and certificate is meant for.
And is it part of the requirements needed to secure the health and care visa? Everybody wants to have it as it might be needed. Not until the scheme has started, nobody is sure if it’s gonna be a prerequisite. |

omopapa: You can still drive with your provisional license supervised by a full license holder, however if you get pulled over for an offence, the points will go on your provisional license in advance Cus points can’t be added on to the international one.
Mind you, your 1st 2yrs as a full license holder you are still on probation and shldnt have more than 6 points else they will revoke the license. Now if u carry over any points from provisional over to full license you will be driving on egg shell Lovely and informative write up. But that post is to correct the notion that once you have provisional, you can’t drive on your international license anymore. |

Who’s up for some arguments Mass of information out there claiming that once you get a provisional, you can’t drive anymore on your international license even if you haven’t spent up to 12 months.

I just passed the theory test and I wanna start taking driving lessons. Back in naija I started driving with manual, but in the last 8 years all my cars have been automatic. I have no issues driving anyone but I just need suggestions. |

Munamoqel: Nigerians see the tier 4 student visa as a settlement visa .I don't understand why any one would move with his entire family on a student visa at the same time he is departing arrive first hustle accommodation and understand the system a little like 3 months then bring your family . Traveling with family is stress ,then getting accommodation ,school for kid etc .we need to change strategy Your opinion. Everybody’s situation is different |

fatima04: It's soo annoying oo and hope it doesn't backfire in the nearest future. I don't trust UKVI for anything. Meanwhile the true shortage exists in domiciliary care and they are the major ones I see offering sponsorship right now. If you claim you are Lewis Hamilton and drive a car, its sponsorship straight up. Regarding the courses, NVQ is health care can help but honestly I feel driving skill tips the application in your favour. God bless you for this. I was telling somebody yesterday that with the look of things, right now someone with a uk driving licence and no care experience will probably get sponsorship sooner than someone that has experience and no driving license. Those companies are ready to train candidates with full uk driving license and zero or little experience. |

captainhoo: It has been mentioned here that one cannot practise nursing with only Masters in nursing (the first degree must be in nursing too). Just to let you know You can actually practice with pre-registration ( 2 or 3yrs MSc in Nursing depending on the school). And your first degree doesn’t have to be in nursing. |
