koonbey: Congrats! First time driving?
How many hours did you take to practice with a tutor?
I'm trying to figure out if I can get away with not paying a tutor since I have several years of driving experience I passed my test with 20hrs of tutoring with an instructor. I will advise you use a tutor, forget naija driving experience. Apart from passing driving tests, it will help your general driving. |

leef2022: Any delay in cos issuance is most likely from the employer(incomplete docs or whatever delays). COS usually should be ready within 24hrs after an employer had made an application. Not entirely true Even though some employers might cause delays for themselves by submitting incomplete documents, CoS takes weeks to months to be ready. Are you aware that there are standard and priority services when employers apply for CoS? These services attracts extra payments. It’s CoS allocation that takes 24hrs or less |

Aragbs4real: To those people outside the UK who got healthcare job, please be very sincere, how did you guys got the healthcare job with sponsorship? What's procedures did you guys take? You will actually be helping so many of your brothers and sisters if you are truthful on how you got it. Many of them got it through “paid packaging” and that’s the honest truth. Of cos this thread is not an avenue to promote such practices which is why they only come here to give testimonies. I will advice you to continue applying, don’t give up. If you see a legit package too, you can give it a shot. |

NezzyMike: Leave this your long epistle, you are not any agent, don't try to lure people into sending you mails. Remember that job is even unskilled and needs training before assumption of duty.
I blame Nigerian government for bringing hardship to masses, how many UK citizens go for that job for 3 - 5 years if not immigrants? Interviewer ko interviewer ni. You will be surprised at the large number of whites/British that are carers and have been at it for years. 3-5 yrs is a piece of cake. |

justwise: Honestly its very sad, anytime something did not go our way we pick up race-card. Its only fair when we win else it is racism.
This is not me saying that racism does not play a part in some decision making, yes it does but not all the time. And when it does, should people not talk or air their opinion about it. Should they just look away? Seeing a bit of contradiction here. |

Amarathripple0: On the contrary, I would advise you to take your own advice because OP asked an intelligent, well-thought out question. Immediately I saw the OP’s post, I took a screenshot and sent to my wife because it’s a topic we always talk about. We are just 10 months in the country and it’s what we see and notice coupled with the fact that we have no kids yet. It’s usually a topic of discussion in my home. So immediately I saw the Op’s question, it just validated the fact that we aren’t thinking alone. I agree with you on the bolded. As for that other guy that gave an unintelligent response; I guess he took the OP’s post personally OR he needs to change his dealer. |

The £100 IPTV is coping well on match days ....... If we love to watch EPL, that might be an option...... Streams in 4K, but no DSTV .......... Our £20 iptv is streaming effortlessly here oooo. I mean the premier league games. The only thing is that during game time, It didn’t work with my broadband (Virgin) I had to use my phone hotspot and it worked fine. I just watched Man U game now , waiting to watch my team (City ) |

Gbolah21: The error was from my sponsor, they gave out undefined COS ( for people within uk ) instead of defined COS ( for people overseas). I just want to know if the administrative review actually works. I read on the uk site that it takes about 6 month and I don’t think I can reapply cause passport is still with dmc AR works no doubt, but you can’t put an actual time frame to it. It might be less than 6 months and at times way more than 6 months. Besides the visa officer didn’t make an error. The error was from your part (your employer) and the visa officer has made a right decision, so AR might not work in this case (I stand to be corrected). I would advice you get the correct document and apply again so you can get your visa in about 3 weeks instead of waiting months for AR that might not even come out positive. IMO It’s better to wait to get your passport and reapply. |

I remember when I bought my shanko 2006 Astra, my guy said I should drop small deposit so he can hold the car till Sunday when I come to pick it up as agreed. I asked if my deposit would be refunded incase I don’t like the car. He stylishly dodged the question and didn’t give an answer.
I just told bros that you know what, I will rather message you on Saturday night to know if the car is still available, if yes then I come on Sunday for inspection instead of dropping a deposit.
Luckily I picked the car and it’s serving me well.
