See, I am affiliated with with a boutique hotel, few months ago it was a black American that flew in an lodged for one or two weeks, elderly lady, her first time in Africa, guess what she came to do? Guy she was sharing Christian tracts, when she shares she the gives them jewelries Eg ear rings and some other gifts like candy she brought from the US. Omo, we had to assign someone to monitor her movement as she just went to the roundabout (infested with the usual Lagos area boys) to go and start sharing her stuff. She would have been robbed or lost a limb that day. We had to give her a guide and car to take her to churches, orphanages etc.

If a full Yoruba Man marries a Full Chinese Woman, their Child will be half Yoruba and half Chinese by blood/ ancestry. This is incontrovertible. Do you deny this? Now if he marries a full Indian, their child will be one quarter Yoruba, and one quarter Chinese and half Indian.

Now is that child marries a full Spaniard, their child will be one eighth Yoruba, One eighth Chinese, One Quarter Indian and half Spaniard.

I am sure perhaps only Israel with its right of return laws and perhaps a few others do that. I am talking about citizenship based on ancestry here. There are other types - such as citizenship based on birthplace, naturalization, registration, marriage or even by award. So I trust you understand.

So calm down, your direct kids, even grand kids will always have full legal rights as your descendant. And they should also, from wherever your wife is from, and her parents as well.

To add to the excellent words of Jakumo, your mistake is elementary. Only high producing countries can afford to devalue their currencies. ANY COUNTRY that is so import dependent that it imports even toothpicks and match stick is playing with fire if it does so. Reason is simple - you will have to pay more and more of your currency for everything you buy since you are import dependent, leading to a vicious cycle of inflation.

Its elementary economics.

This anecdote illustrates how the REDUCED buying power of the Nigerian naira is not just a bad thing, but an unmitigated calamity unfolding before our eyes, and with no end in sight.
