The country is poor yet the government can still spend extravagantly like yahoo boys with their first ever loot? Abegi make I hia word...
Common sense should tell anyone to look at the reality on ground, not all those manufactured data and analysis of crazy itchy handed government officials and their minions.

Smh I taya oh. Its still benumbing to me. Can one even conceive all the opportunities that rest in the Olympics for human development, marketing, jobs, careers, sports industry acceleration, national projection, I can go on and on. But you allocate a tenth of what you budget for people to go and kiss a black stone in Mecca. Frankly this alone tells us that we probably have enough resources to do well, and are simply mis-allocating them, with 90 per cent of course, being an "elite tax" (money for the boys). |

Eriokanmi: There's nothing he can do successfully without the backing of the north, even if he changes the INEC chair, there are northerners who hold key positions at inec and they hardly betray one another. One tree can't make a forest and don't forget that Nigeria isn't lagos and tinubu isn't buhari they worship like an idol.
Last year's election was a clear proof he's losing his grip here in Lag. The majority of us didn't vote him in Alimosho where he also lost. The votes he got were through intimidation, threats and ballot box snatching. The largest percentage of 2027 votes will come from the south west, which isn't enough. That's why they're fighting hard to grab rivers and I don't see fubara defecting to the apc, edo too isn't sure for him
I've lived among them and I know what my northern friends are saying already. Even in the last year's election, his victory in the north wasn't so overwhelming. They now see clearly that he deceived them with same faith ticket to win. They're really plotting to shame him come 2027 and trust them, they're always once beaten twice shy. He can bring food and money to them and they'd still reject it, despite their poor state. They can be so blunt. Tinubu can have hus way in the south west, except in Lagos. Amen oh, amen and amen. |

Eriokanmi: Go and ask Jonathan. Despite his spending spree and power of incumbency, when things were still better, he still lost. Don't forget that in a hurry. He may get some consolatory votes in the South West, excluding lagos, but certainly not in the remaining parts of Nigeria. It will he worse in the north, even if he bribes them more than Jonathan did Amen. I realy hope so. But you see the thing is this. This guy is not gentleman mumu Jonathan. This guy is a proper gangstar. So this guy may not be interested in buying votes or anything. This guy will get the INEC Chair to announce the results he wants even if only his wife voted for him. And he will use frog eyes and look at everybody and say yes? What can you do? Do your worst. That is what I suspect of this guy. |

Proudlyngwa: I did not say Nigeria does not have the capacity to peg the dollar, i said nigeria does not have the capacity to defend the naira at the rate which you guys want it pegged.
Pegging will lead to artificial scarcity which will lead to roundtripping which willl still increase the dollar.
Allow market forces determine price There is a way it can be orchestrated to avoid this and it will settle after a while around the pegged price, even the black markets will settle around it. |

Proudlyngwa: Nigeria currently does not have the capacity to defend the naira against the dollar by pegging.
How many dollars una think say una get
Or do you manufacture dollars When governments do this, they are not necessarily "defending" the currency by throwing dollars into the system. Pegging is a different concept altogether and operates more closely to fiat. It is not unknown in the world. Here are some examples of countries with pegged exchange rates: Pegged to the US Dollar: Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates Caribbean: Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) Africa: Djibouti, Eritrea Asia: Hong Kong |

StillDtruth: I wish God would do toall atheists as He did to Egypt when Isreal was with them.
So today, Christianity means children of Abraham while the Egyptians today are atheists.
Thus, i pray thee o Lord that the atheists we see today we shall see no more.
That let their be mournings in the houses of atheists whereas in the houses of Christians there are shouts of joys!
Let their be barreness in the houses of atheists whereas in the houses of Christians their shall giglings of babies.
Let the atheist never marry but let the christian be joyfully married.
Let the atheist sow a field and reap a desert whereas let the Christian sow a grain of wheat and he reaps a harvest of 30s and 60s and 100s wheat and corn.
Let the plagues enter the atheists.house whereas the christian dwelleth safely as thou didst do in Egypt. Is this how Jesus taught you to pray? |

Eriokanmi: But it can remove a ruling president. The message ahead of 2027 is clear. That's what the protest has been able to achieve. That's the greatest problem this protest has also solved. If you like, give the north who gave Tinubu a consolatory vote last year 1m naira each, they'd never make same mistake again, likewise those hit by the current regime of hunger nationwide Gbam. Thank you very much. And thats actually a very very important thing. As things stand, Bola Tinubu will face an uphill task in any future election in Nigeria. To say that he has become unpopular is an understatement: the population now see him as their enemy. Now I know that this man does not care because of the arrogance of power - he will attempt to swindle his way as usual, and Nigeria being what it is, he jolly well may succeed. Another problem is that one cannot trust the Nigerian electorate: it has proven its stupidity too many times. It has the ignominous habit of going to lick up what it has vomitted also. Nonetheless, whatever the case may be, 2027 has become far less sure for the frog eyed antediluvian cripple fouling up the air in Aso Rock at this time. |

joseph1832: I'll even want to ask Sowore, what did this protest achieve? Because if this protest didn't achieve anything, then I see no reason why any others protest will also achieve anything. It's that simple. It may not look like it acheived anything on the surface, but it actually has made a huge point - and believe you me, because of this protest the government will shudder and shiver before it thinks of introducing any new policies which will increase taxes, prices or the general cost of living in anyway. You will not hear that easily in the next two years believe me. Without the protest, you will have got a steady stream of such new hardship inducing polices over the next two years. |

He hides in New Jersey but is asking Nigerian youth to confront Police. He kept his wife and children in a safe haven but pull Nigerians who have no where to run to into anarchy. The end result of the protest he called is nothing peaceful.... Ikaeniyan0: Protest cant solve the problems in Nigeria. If you like, protest for 1 year, petrol price won't fall to #180 per litre
How can the exchange rate be $/1590 and you expect petrol to be #180 per litre. Naira needs to start strengtning before price will fall As though the exchange rate magically slid just because it was in a bad mood? As though someone didnt kick it down? You are not serious. Gross stupidity.

The answer is Simple. You guys lack a brain.
It sounds like an insult but its not. Its a fact. You only keep revealing how shallow your mind is. How does a single thing I said equate atheism. You are so illiterate you probably think atheism is the art of criticizing religion. You don't even know the meaning of the word. Get lost and go worship your blinking statue. Piss brain. |

The question is, Did the statue blink? Dispute that first before dusplaying stupidity.
Here is a concrete statue pictured with two different actions. One, the eyes wide opened The other the eyes closed.
Explain if it that it did not happen.
I am a sculptor so, I know this is strange. So it happened.
By which spirit? Evil or Holy, thats another question entirely. But the fact remains it happened. Just look at your first line addressed to four strangers who have not insulted you. Go screw yourself, superstitious re.tard. Its no wonder people like you believe in talking snakes, pregnant virgins, God sleeping with a virgin, a Jewish man being God, and his death being your salvation. Get lost, empty head. In a country 0f 200 million people with over 350 tribes. Each and every government critic is Igbo. Nevermind that someone came second in the last election and that someone is vastly more influential in Nigerian Politics than any Peter Obi.
