tctrills: To your last paragraph, give me your reason first because O don't see reason for the question. If you are, I want to hear your view on Trumps attacks on the Pope. To your first paragraph, you claim accusing a young man of murder stops being racism if the actions of the innocent man is perceived by his accusers to be racist.
Oga even you must accept that this racism thing is making no sense.
By your logic, if I wrongfully accuse you of being racist as was the case of Kyle, I am not racist but in Trump's case, he is racist.
Can I beg you for a mighty favour. Please explain this to me like I am 10 years old. This one over me, I confess.
Make it simple, show how leftist are not racist in accusing Kyle but Trump is a racist.
Note, Kyle did not even shoot a black man I was only providing context to show you its quite different from the case of the kids. I did not say my view. |

Answer the above because that's the easiest to fact check.
Anyone accusing Trump of molesting minors, should we call such a person a racist?
How about a white man who still believes OJ Simpson is guilty of killing is wife even after the jury found him innocent, is he a racist? From what is in the public space already, every unbiased person knows Trump has engaged in those degenerate acts. My problem with you is this knee jerk defense of all things white supremacist, Trumpian and Jewish supremacist. Just be balanced. basilico: Deepsight . Here is proof AI chatbots can make up stories.
March 8 this year. I was following PDC UK open Darts festival from flashscore.com and I asked Gemini what's the latest.
Gemini reply: Gerwin Price had just beaten Johnny Clayton 10-4.
My response: They haven't played yet it's Josh Rock and a guy from Poland.
Gemini then corrected itself and said the match has not yet begun.
In any case Gerwin Price beat Johnny Clayton 10-8 not the 10-4 the bot had claimed.
Trust AI at your own risk. On several other occasions Gemini has made up it's own results when it comes to PDC darts. I am aware and I counter check. Its even better now, in the early stages the thing used to write some real gibberish. |

tctrills: Let's break it down: the guys were young, and Trump spent money to push a false narrative against them. The only difference here is that your Leftists did not spend money to push their campaign against Kyle Rittenhouse. Even after he was exonerated, they continued to push the false narrative. And Kyle was really young. So the only thing that made Trump's case different was the money he spent. Is that what makes Trump a racist while you leftist are not? Note, many on the left are spending campaign dollars accusing Trump of all kinds of things on the non-existent Epstein files. Are they racists? I think the Kyle Rittenhouse case is markedly different because of the context of the riots about the police shooting of black a black man. Therefore his actions were seen as attempting to defend a racist police shooting - seven shots which left the victim paralyzed. I am only giving context. Very different scenario. However, one thing you should know is that I know there are racists on the left too, but just far less and racism is not an ideology they way it is for the right, even if unsaid. Epstein files are non existent? You are truly on something. Are you Catholic. I have a reason for asking which has nothing to do with anything debated in the last few days. |

GloriousGbola: So this is the thing. I am from kwara state. Kwara has 16 lgas. The only lga you probably know is ilorin, the capital city. Same for most states in Nigeria. Many lgas but only the capital is really developed like that. The rest are mostly backwater. You will see your free and organized elections in the capital city, but the game is run in the hinterlands. It is only in your capital city you have an educated middle class that are actually focused on the election. Go to your impoverished back water lga and for them election is a in 1200 when they can get some free food and maybe small dash.
The governors largely have control over the election machinery in their states. Off the top of my head osun is the only state I have seen that may be a true battleground state where multiple actors control the electorate.
Most other states the governor has full control over the outcome via his lieutenants. Wike was a lieutenant elevated to governor which is one reason why he is still in control. He has a full understanding of the electoral process in rivers.
I am saying you may see high turnout in the capital cities, but it will ultimately mean nothing. It is actually more likely that the capital cities will have people preferring to relax at home rather than queue in the sun and rain to vote.
Also thanks to orange man, the voice of international observers is no longer what it used to be. We are now learning work where America is concerned in election mago mago. Very well and intelligently analysed. Lol @ learning work from orange man. True! |

Many leftists on this platform accused Kyle Rittenhouse of murder. Would you today call all your leftist friends on this platform racists? You miss the point about the central park five. Many blacks/ latinos have been accused of crime without racism being brought up. It was the way Trump went about it. He took out full page adverts in four newspapers at a cost of 85k USD to demand the death penalty even before anything was proven (only two weeks after the incident) and worse than this, after they were exonerated he never withdrew his stance or apologized for it. After New York City settled a lawsuit with the five men for $41 million in 2014, Trump wrote an op-ed in the Daily News calling the settlement a "disgrace" and a "terrible mistake." On top of all this, I hope you know those guys were juveniles between the ages of 14 and 16. |

Yardua won by a landslide voted in by the likes of micheal Jackson. Obj reordered the Constitution so that presidential polls and gubernatorial polls are on different days. One of the reasons all these parties can't hack it is because they all go back to the heyday of pdp when they were all funded and mobilized from the center. Now they have to rely on the pockets of party bigwigs who expect solid positions for their spend.
I do not like Wike, but the man carried pdp for 8 years with rivers money. He was an abrasive prick who would have likely damaged pdp as a front runner. Personally I dont think he can be defeated as a sitting president because he will pull every trick in the book and will be open to rigging in every sense. He will also be ready to take drastic steps to stay in power. I believe he can only lose if all of the following conditions are met - 1. The opposition is united behind a single candidate. Votes are not split as was in 2023. 2. There is a massive turn out on election day and people wait to see results and defend their vote. 3. The International Community that count quietly warn Bola of severe consequences to any dictatorial abuse of the system in order to sit tight. Even with all this, it will be a stretch to beat him as sitting president. As for Wike, that one is from the gutter. He is a pure cancer in the system. |

You know what that means.. Besides the local restaurants, stores, movie theatre , pubs etc losing customers , it's a warning , play ball before shooting off your mouth.
Trump has also ordered 25% tariffs on EU vehicles. Who will be the hardest hit. Germany whose revenues from automobiles is very significant.
With EU telling members not to buy cheap Russian gas and oil. With Germany shutting down nearly all it's nuclear and coal plants energy is now expensive . Which doesn't help a manufacturing giant. Add to their refusal to join Operation End Fury. Global oil and gas prices have shot up as a result of the Straits of Hormuz blockade. The German economy is already taking a hit from their policies and the money they give Ukraine. They can force Zelensky to the negotiating table but it will make Trump win the Nobel prize.
25% tariffs on their vehicles will impact German economy more than the troop withdrawal. Played as a Russian asset. |

So even in the most conservative calculations, Blacks have received about 5 trillion dollars. That is 10 times the Nigerian GDP. You gave black America 10 of Nigeria, and they did nothing with it, and I am here hating Tinubu. There is something wrong with you. 1. What is wrong with 19% for 13% of the population who you acknowledge form the poorer demographic? Because in fact if this is a correct percentile then what on Earth are you complaining about? tctrills: My brother, when you use AI, learn to conduct deep research. Dont worry, I will do it for you.
Since the launch of the "War on Poverty" in 1964, the US has spent over $26 trillion on anti-poverty programs, with total expenditures potentially reaching higher depending on whether state-level contributions and specific program definitions (such as medical vs. cash aid) are included. Current federal spending alone exceeds $1 trillion annually.
Now, on total entitlement benefits, the US has spent $193 trillion
Now the question is, what percentage has gone to the blacks? This is where we apply AI.
Grok
Around 23-26% of recipients (and a similar share of spending) in major US means-tested welfare programs go to Black Americans, who make up roughly 13-14% of the total US population. Key Data (Recent Years, e.g., ~2019–2023)
Combined safety net programs (Urban Institute analysis of ~59 million recipients): Non-Hispanic White ~43%, Hispanic ~26%, Black ~23%. SNAP (food stamps): White ~35-42% (non-Hispanic White lower, around 35-37%), Black ~25-28%, Hispanic ~16%. Blacks are overrepresented relative to population share. Older or multi-program data (e.g., SNAP + TANF + housing) sometimes shows higher Black shares for specific overlapping benefits, but the broad pattern holds: Whites are the largest group by raw numbers, Blacks are disproportionately represented.
Spending (dollars) tracks recipient shares closely because benefits are allocated per eligible person or household (with adjustments for household size, income, etc.). There is no comprehensive official breakdown showing a dramatically different spending percentage. Black households are overrepresented among recipients due to higher participation rates in programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF, driven by factors such as higher poverty rates, single-parent households, and urban concentration.
ChatGPT
There isn’t a single percentage for “all U.S. welfare” going to any one group, because “welfare” isn’t one program—it includes things like food assistance (SNAP), healthcare (Medicaid), and cash aid (TANF), and each has different data.
Breaking it down (to understand it properly) 1) Food assistance (SNAP) Black recipients: about 26–27% White recipients: larger share overall 2) Cash welfare (TANF) Black recipients: about 27–28% 3) Healthcare (Medicaid) Black recipients: about 23%
This completely corresponds with Grok. Blacks get more than 23% of all welfare.
Gemini
Program, Black Recipients (%), SNAP (Food Stamps),~25%, TANF (Cash Assistance),~28%, Public Housing,~45%,
This again shows that blacks get nothing less than 23% of all welfare
Now, let's use the lowest figure, 23%. Calculate 23% of 26 trillion
The result is 5.98 trillion
This represents the lowest possible amount blacks get from welfare. I am usually not wrong with the stats and figures You want to teach me to use AI and yet your question framing was useless. At all events, the fact remains that there is no race-based distribution. Where blacks get more, its because there are more poor blacks. THAT SAYS ENOUGH. I will not bother asking you to retract your lie that blacks have been dashed six trillion in welfare. |

As to defections and betrayals, after acn got ondo for mimiko, mimiko promptly backstabbed tinubu. Osun has been a battle ground state requiring compromise and alliances.
It is not going to be easy. The fact is we can see how Obi has handled strife in LP, and now in ADC. To be fair, I dont think he has ever been in the commanding position Bola was in, to enable him whip the troops into line. Yes you can argue that that commanding position has to be won, I will hear. But then again that is costly and comes at a price of massive filthy lucre and for one thing Anambra as a state cannot compare to Lagos in terms of funds/ liquidity / power of patronage / economic power and for another thing PO may simply not be on BAT's level in terms of the capacity for sheer roguery. BAT is a Field Marshall in certain things that PO may never be, but they are mostly things related to smart politicking and ruthlessness. |

That half the black women in the US have the mind to take human life. This is a wasted generation. Do you wonder why they have the worst families. Do you wonder why black society is a mess? A society that kills its own even before birth. Your issue with abortion is rooted in religious doctrine. By the way, are you Catholic? I hope you are not surprised to find out that black on black murder in the US is by far the highest. From birth, these people have learnt that it is ok to kill your own. Has it ever occurred to you that the very term "black on black" is a peculiarity that shows bias? Because no one goes around talking about "white on white" or "latino on latino" that much. It is a usage specifically designed to tell a particular narrative about what is in truth simply higher violence in poorer demographics, which is standard everywhere in the world. |

tctrills: Abi If the more than 6 trillion black Américai has gotten in entitlement benefits changed nothing, that shows this is not a money problem QUESTION: IS THE CLAIM THAT BLACK AMERICANS HAVE BEEN GIVEN SIX TRILLION IN ENTITLEMENT BENEFITS TRUE AND IF SO, WHATS THE TIMELINE, AND WHO GOT THESE FUNDS AND ON WHAT BASIS?
GEMINI: The claim that Black Americans specifically have been "given $6 trillion in entitlement benefits" is a mischaracterization of broader figures frequently cited in debates over U.S. welfare policy. There is no official government record or peer-reviewed study that confirms a $6 trillion figure allocated exclusively to Black Americans.
Instead, the "$6 trillion" figure likely stems from a confusion of several distinct data points related to total national spending, specific asset valuations, or recent federal deficit increases.
1. The Likely Origins of the "$6 Trillion" Figure The specific number $6 trillion appears in two very different contexts within recent economic discourse, neither of which represents an "entitlement payout" to Black Americans:
Total Black Household Wealth: According to data from the Federal Reserve, the total assets held by Black American households (including real estate, pension entitlements, and savings) reached approximately $6 trillion in 2022 (HBCU Money, 2023). This represents the collective net worth and private savings of the population, not government spending.
Recent Federal Deficit Claims: Economic critics, such as those at the Heritage Foundation, have argued that the Biden administration's policies added roughly $6 trillion to the national deficit through various spending bills (Ditch, 2023). These funds were allocated across the entire U.S. population for infrastructure, COVID-19 relief, and climate initiatives, rather than being targeted specifically toward one racial group.
2. Historical Context of Welfare Spending If the claim is intended to refer to "The War on Poverty" (launched in 1964), the numbers are much larger, but also population-wide:
Total Spending: Research by Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation estimated that the U.S. spent approximately $22 trillion on means-tested welfare programs between 1964 and 2014 (Rector, 2014).
Demographic Distribution: While African Americans are disproportionately represented in certain means-tested programs due to higher poverty rates, they have never been the sole or primary recipients of the total expenditure. For example, in most years of the program's history, White Americans have constituted the largest single racial group receiving SNAP (food stamps) and Medicaid benefits.
3. Basis and Eligibility Federal benefits in the United States are not distributed on the basis of race, as that would violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Instead, funds are distributed based on:
Financial Need: Means-tested programs like TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) or Medicaid require recipients to fall below specific income thresholds.
Age and Contribution: "Entitlements" like Social Security and Medicare are based on age and the amount of payroll taxes an individual has paid into the system over their working life.------------------ cc: GloriousGbola / basilico / Ijebos / cococandy |

he started from lagos and then expanded to a regional party and when the time was right made strategic alliances. he also built a network of support over those 10 years across nigeria - and that network came through for him in the 2023 election. it was not a smooth growth and ACN/AC/APC also suffered losses and setbacks.
all these opposition politicians are trying to shoehorn a decades work into a year. atiku disappears to dubai for two and half years after every election.
i always say Peter obi could have followed the exact template created by Tinubu and grown APGA into an actual regional party controlling the SE as a single voting bloc and having actual negotiating power - but he opted for the easy way of aligning with an almighty PDP. Well said. Another thing I always think and say is this. If the opposition cannot make sacrifices of time, they are not ready. I am no lover of BAT, indeed I dislike the man, but to give the devil his dues, not only did he do all you said, he was willing and able to sit back for eight good years to let Buhari go ahead and thereby have a united front capable of unseating the government. That was strategy. That was timing. He didn't even join the ticket as a vice presidential candidate. Stood back on the argument that a Christian was needed. And not one single one of the leading opposition candidates appears able to do even a fraction of this in terms of making the sacrifice of time to unseat him. They all want to go at once. If they do that, not even I would vote for them. cc: wizardofng |
