mrkia: don't mind him jare!!!! Who told him that the mall was shut down without carrying out investigation ?. They are just pained we now have a Government that listens This has nothing to do with the politicians in power. It's a regulatory function and would proceed likewise under any Government. Indeed the FCCPC has been acting in this manner since inception. |

Worth a thought.
I had wondered how they intended to make profit. There are many outfits in Nigeria owned by foreigners which are a front for illegal businesses such as narcotics or even firearms. Don't play with Lebanese business men in this regard. |

essentialone: Juliet Beni – Age 19 At age 19, Beni completed her PhD in Psychology from University of California, Riverside. She is the daughter of UC Riverside engineering professors Susan Hackwood and Gerardo Beni. When Beni was 15 years old, she graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology. As a child, she and her sister went to Montessori preschool and then were homeschooled by both parents. Community college courses provided for Beni’s move into a four-year degree plan. During her time as a PhD student at UC Riverside, Beni was an instructor in Psychology for large health Psychology classes.
University of California, Riverside is part of the large network of world renowned states schools in the California University system. Founded in 1954, UC Riverside is ranked by U.S. News and World Report at #121 among national universities and #58 among top public schools. QS Top Universities ranks UC Riverside at #265 among universities worldwide. Like many of the universities in the University of California system, Riverside serves primarily undergraduates with the population of undergraduate students making up 88% of the school. Further, the student body at UCR is the most diverse body of students in the University of California system. Time magazine has ranked UC Riverside as one of the top universities to have success with low income students in the nation.
While Beni has completed her Phd in Psychology, She is currently a student in University of California, Irvine’s Haider program in Biomedical Science and hopes eventually to pursue her Medical Doctorate at UCLA. Her lifelong goal is to be a medical doctor. She is the youngest student to ever graduate with a PhD in the history of University of California, Irvine. For me, all of these special cases still do not render it advisable to put a minor in a university. A university is more than just a school for the books alone. Its actually a school for life and the social interactions there are just as important. A minor is therefore ill suited for a university in my humble view. Even if he is ten times Einstein. |

Dialpad: So what happens to the 15 year old that completes secondary school . A University is not a place for minors in my humble opinion. A person who finishes secondary school at 15 can still do quite a lot. Advanced Levels. Language Classes. Music, Sports, the Arts. Become a rounded adult and go into Uni at 18. I agree with the policy. |

2023Blessed: Rubbish policy. Allow them to graduate young and add value to the system while their brains are still very active.
I graduated from the University at 18 and I have never regretted it for a day. It took me several years to get my first full-time job that I was truly satisfied with. So government ought to factor that also.
You want to waste their productive years in a country where employers will be asking for 4 years work experience at 22.
At what age did you get into Uni then? 13? 14? 15? |

wirinet: I am honestly ashamed of you guys. So because there is tribalism in Nigeria now justifies Chinese coming into our country and insult us? There is no country in the world that does not suffer some degree of racism/tribalism. In England there are serious tribalism between the English, the Scots, the Welsh and the Irish. Same in China, there are serious tribal tension among the various ethnicities. But when it come to confronting outsiders they forger their differences and unite to face a common enemy/threat or humiliation. Here you guys rejoice and give support to our enemies and wish all us dead. Pathetic. Most of those countries came together in a natural organic way, be it through assimilation, immigration or even conquest, it was still natural and more importantly spanned over long periods of time to enable true integration. Nigeria by contrast is a motley pot of some 350 tribes forced together suddenly by imperialism. |

wirinet: It's amazing that this generation of igbos are so hateful. Their fathers were more reasonable. The hatred exhibited by todays igbo youth had never been witnessed in Nigeria, even during and immediately after the civil war. My father inlaw actually fought in the civil war and was very close to ojukwu. You will never find him spewing so much hatred for Nigeria or Yorubas or even hausa-fulanis. It's not a one way street, both groups are almost equally hostile to one another. Between Igbos and Yorubas honestly I am sick of it. Especially on this forum. On this forum you can literally say, "Oh, today the USA launched a rocket heading to Mars" and you will have ten responses which will somehow contrive to bring Igbo vs Yoruba supremacy into the conversation. |

(After all, you called me an ignoramus, a drunkard, and you also decided to abuse me in discussing with others, so, no response for you.
I can't hold a discussion with someone who just wants to abuse me. It won't be productive. You will just call me names and then pretend you didn't do so or justify it.
Better learn your own lesson too. You are not a child, this ain';t a playground. You can't just abuse others and expect them to suddenly be corteous to you when you ain't.
You won't call a fellow learned friend who disagrees with you drunk and an ignoramus too.
Have a good day anyway, old man.

Focusmind: Even when Nigeria was the largest, it was not felt, talk more when it is now projected to be 4th
The current positions of countries seemed more like it. I always considered SA as the biggest economy in Africa, irrespective of the basis of classification of the ranking. You cannot be the biggest economy in Africa and have greater percentage of your population living in abject poverty without access to power, water, sanitation and basic necessities of life. I get you. Nonetheless, largest is largest. It is not best, most advanced, most sophisticated, most techy, no. Largest simply means biggest. And as far as that goes, go and find out why MTN, a South African company present in 22 countries, has about one third of its market in one country - Nigeria. |

webizone: And there it is folks, little by little, Yoruba is losing their lands. While fighting igbos for starting businesses in Yoruba lands and wishing that foreigners or Fulani will take over their lands, they should know that each square metre given out like these means they will have no access to it in the future.
The only places they might be left would be the swamps and slums.

MaxInDHouse: The highlighted is false because there are thousands of religious books all claiming to be inspired by God and none will tell you that the God they're talking about is not the Almighty.
So you can't conclude that what you read in one book is sufficient to prove that all other books aren't from God. Na wah oh, so Max you can reason properly when you want to. The only problem arises when defending JW fundamentalism. |

This is why you don't see angels preaching, instead men do the preaching. We preach God's Word as His children, not ours. You are suffering from a most potent and unrelenting psychosis. Good luck. |

CaptainJune: You are not wise as to know how the stars were made, the exact length and breadth of the universe but you think your finite wisdom makes you better than God. It is you who actually thinks your barbaric ideas are the ideas of God. It is you who, as small as you are, wishes to decree that God is a psychopath, and you wish that no one must question that - since poor God of course, can't speak for himself. I can only pray that one day you wake up from this absurd stupidity. |
