PDPwayoo: Not only security threat. They r criminals.
A trader in Benue line owe me 1.4m naira. The criminal association called task force promise to help me get the money or stop the man from trading in the premises on 10% of the money going to the association. I agreed and paid the consultation fee.

Immediately the man came and start speaking igbo, the story changed. Because they knew i had flight the following day, they gave him 30 days to bring the money.
I was told to embark on my travel that they will pay the money into my mother's account.

After 30 days, my brother went to the criminals office, they told him they cant do anything unless i come personally to their office.
I would have gone to court or police station b4 i left, but they have me assurance and asked not to report to authorities.

The vice chairman of the task force is a thief and a racist. the chairman is weak and easily manipulated by tribalism.

I bought a land from Omoniles at Ikorodu and got it half fenced before I travelled out of the country, when I came back after 3yrs to start something on the land, I was surprise that the land has been sold to another person,I confronted the Omonile head and he told me that the land would be restored to me as it was sold in error and I was asked to pay a ratification fee which I paid because of the assurance they gave me. A date was fixed for a meeting but lo! and behold the story changed when the chief and his kinsmen realized that I am from Niger Delta and bears a name similar to an Igbo name and the man who bought the land is a Yoruba man..They called me that the meeting cannot hold on the said date and another date was fixed but what got me thinking was the chief who knows my name and calls me by name started calling me Omo Igbo which I vehemently asked him to stop...I am yet to recover this said parcel of land and my money up until now....I would restrain my self from calling the high chief and his kinsmen thieves or tribalists because the matter is already in court....

Ok....we hope for better days of improved electricity supply....meanwhile I have not had light for two days now.

1) What security threat? In what way are they a threat?

2) In what way have they violated the law guiding their operations?

3) In what way does the government want them to regularise their operations?

The crime of the Igbo trader is simply that he wanted to earn a living legitimately rather run after buses on the street collecting fees.

Due to recent happenings, online and media bashings, I have bn observing the offline relationship of Igbo and Yoruba to see if the online nd media wranglings have any effect offline and I've noticed the following:

1. Almost every Yoruba, literate or not, rich or poor, have adequate media exposure (through English or Yoruba newspapers, radio programs and likes)

2. Yorubas are angry with the Igbos mainly because an Igbo leader (OUK) called part of Yoruba land a no man's land and the Igbos supported that.

3. Igbos are obviously envious of Lagos, and won't mind coverting it (suicidal thoughts in honest opinion)

4. Any little chaos or civil or uncivil disobedience in Lagos or any other part of the south west involving the Igbos will invariably lead to a great loss by the Igbos.

5. The situation is really bad and saddening for Nigeria.

6. The president is either trying to be a good and neutral leader by resolving things via consultations behind the scene Or is keeping mute so that things degenerate and the country breaks up (an escape route for the Nigeria Delta) (most prefer the second)


7. Only the Igbos can reverse and or salvage the situation by decreasing unnecessary loudmouthness, chest beating and likes, by calling leaders who don't think well before talking well to order and by rebuilding confidence with their hosts wherever they find themselves, afterall big rivers flow in majestic silence.

Remember: in life's drama, there're no rehearsals ,think well before you act.

Yes,they should abide by the laws but don't throw insults at them.....tell me how a commissioner could term legitimate business men as a security threat because of minor disagreement on tax payment which ordinarily could be resolved through a court process if they claim to be democrats and progressives.

Good development.......I hope the youths will continue to use technology to fight the ills of the society, not just with the police but In all sectors....Wish I can catch OBJ while stuffing ballot box or Buhari discussing with Shekau behind close doors.
