PoliticsBritain Sold Nerve Gas Chemical To Syria. by deeptesting(op): 1:44pm On Sep 01, 2013
BRITAIN allowed firms to sell chemicals to Syria capable of being used to make nerve gas, the Sunday Mail can reveal today.
Export licences for potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride were granted months after the bloody civil war in the Middle East began.

The chemical is capable of being used to make weapons such as sarin, thought to be the nerve gas used in the attack on a rebel-held Damascus suburb which killed nearly 1500 people, including 426 children, 10 days ago. The chemical export licences were granted by Business Secretary Vince Cable’s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills last January – 10 months after the Syrian uprising began.

They were only revoked six months later, when the European Union imposed tough sanctions on Assad’s regime.
Yesterday, politicians and anti-arms trade campaigners urged Prime Minister David Cameron to explain why the licences were granted.

@ OP the society is made up varieties of species with different characteristics, most could be annoying and totally irritating but one fact is they all contribute to the survival and progress of the society......We have got to learn how to accept or ignore most of this species, like live and let's live.....I am not holding brief for them but just like the Garri crew they are part of NL society, playing their own role to keep NL going, since they cannot make any contribution to a topic. Take them out and some part of NL will be missing.

I guess PDP is becoming too hot for GEJ to handle, his political permutation with his chairman Tukur is poor.......This is the reason why I love OBJ, you cannot attempt to destroy or bring my ministry to ridicule while yours is still intact by now all the troublesome PDP Governors should have had enough battle to fight in their respective states courtesy of the Federal Govt. that they will not have any choice but running to the Federal for help. I hope he wakes up quickly from his sleep else Nigeria will break up in his time.

Chibuhealth: you are psychologically imbalance. increase the school fees? from whose pocket? or dont u knw that poor man's children are in the university? ur ideas are bored.
There is no where in the world that education is free...yes, the govt. should give schools the autonomy to run their affairs, while they create an enabling source for students grants and loans which the poor mans children you mentioned can also access and pay his fees...too much emphasis on university education, the government should also encourage vocational and technical schools, there is dearth of competent technicians in our country today, most of the expatriates you see today in Nigeria are products of technical schools...However, the greatest problem we have is corruption which the university management and ASSU are not immune to should they have the autonomy.....So what is the way out? A people that the govt. is afraid of and not a people that is afraid of the govt.

Every one has the right to determine what sexual orientation he/she wants to practice. Its not only a crime but cruelty for the society to dictate what sexual orientation an individual should practice. However, it will be too bad if you try to push your sexuality tendencies towards me....I am not a gay.

Had a bitter experience with this smugglers in 2007, government should do more to protect our borders and men of the Nigeria Customs service. coogar: you mean our dedicated policemen are leopards?
the problem is the system. these men put their lives on the line to protect us and they get paid N15,000 a month. some of them have wives and children. won't they survive? in the middle of this is a fisherman president that spends N1 billion on food alone.
My friend they should resign if their salary does not equate the job they are doing...Must they rob and kill innocent citizens to feed their family? Have you thought of the Okada and Danfo drivers that they extort money from on a daily basis that they have families and worst of it they resorted to driving danfo and Okada on highways endangering their lives because they don`t have jobs unlike the police man or woman who has a job. That is a very lame excuse and to say i am disappointed in you is an understatement.
PoliticsRe: Students Give FG 7 Days Ultimatum To End Strike Or Face Nation Wide Protest by deeptesting(m): 10:01pm On Aug 29, 2013
FG has said the strike by ASSU is politically motivated, hence, the protesting students should know that there protest after the 7 days ultimatum is also politically motivated and such soldiers and police will be drafted to treat them as members of the opposition party. I hope they will be brave enough to carry out their plans to protest peacefully.
Honestly †ђξ Nigerian Police force A̶̲̥̅̊я̲̣̥ε̲̣̣̣̥ †ђξ worst set of people I would want to involve myself with! Recently! I tracked †ђξ thief that stole my BB phone to one of †ђξ Restaurants within ma Area! So I called the Police to pick him up! †ђξ Police insisted I would have to pay a whoping 5k just to accompany me to †ђξ Place! After much plead! I ended up paying 4k just within 2 minutes trekable distance! Having arrested †ђξ dude! I was then asked to pay another 6k for Tfare that would enable them go get †ђξ main thief that stole †ђξ phone. Hence †ђξ guy isn't †ђξ real thief who stole †ђξ phone! He was only unfurtunate to have bought a stolen phone. After much, I threatened to withdraw †ђξ case and insisted to Get M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ phone having presented all manner of evidence! Of which †ђξ dude in detention agreed that I should get maa phone back! Police insisted that they most go in search of †ђξ main dude who stole †ђξ phone and I have to Finance †ђξ operation else, ma phone won't be released to me! So does it mean †ђξ Nigerian Police don't have †ђξ logistics for such operations? Obviously! They just wanna make money out of ma predicament!!! Corruption should be their first Name!! Smh! That's ma Recent ordeal with them!
It all depends on your approach and experience......when I have issues I don't go to talk with those cretins on the counter, I ask for the DPO and speak with him directly... After listening to my case he will assign an IPO to the case and from that point no one ever dares to ask me for money to get his job done...Be sure the DPO will never ask you to drop money for mobilization or whatever. However, the police are necessary evil that we have to live with in this country.

My Broda it is really sad? What are his fears of refusing to back down and concentrate on his failing health? I am also concerned about the kind of women that this public officers marry, how can the wife allow her husband to come back to Nigeria in such a vegetative state because he wants to remain in power? Gosh!

Tolexander: Ya!
I know michael was a fervent witness with his sister, La Toya Jackson before he was disfellowship in 1987.

That is the problem with a child growing amidst a conflict orientation from both side of the parents.
His mum has a faith she practises base on the religion but the father has a contradicting mentality towards life.
But the article said he disassociated himself through a letter to the organization which prompted Gary Botting, author of The Orwellian World of Jehovah's Witnesses and a Witness himself, said that leaving the religion is 'worse than being disfellowshipped, or kicked out." He observed, 'if you wilfully reject God's holy organization on earth, that's the unforgivable sin the sin against the Holy Spirit.' Shame to you for calling his fathers view of life a contradicting mentality......

The worst thing that happened to Nigeria is the people that constitute leaders and followers....Everything is upside down and yet we go about or normal activities as if everything is normal,i was surprised when an elderly woman of about 76yrs told me this morning that she is tired of Nigeria and contemplating on where to move to right now but she is just confused..
yess you are right my bro.. But what really happens is that, U.S thought UN officials has already know the truth but they refused to say it, they were looking for a peaceful way to stop the War.. And in which it will take forever, Because both Assad Regime and the Free soldiers is not ready to bow for each other, in meanwhile one of them must surrender or they should meet each other demands, U.S intervention on Assad regime will work on The free Soldier favour..
I absolutely I agree with you but I have refused to support U.S military intervention because of the past experiences we have had in Libya, Tunisia and now Egypt....The U.S should explore the U.S of sanctions and no fly zone and other measures that will gradually cripple the military power and economy of the Syrian nation rather than a direct military intervention or arming of a terrorist group called rebels or Free Syrian soldiers....Syrians should be allowed to solve their problems, all the crisis in the Middle East today is a conspiracy by the west to destabilize the region in the interest of Isreal. We need peace in the world.
Foreign AffairsRe: US To Bomb Syria On Friday And Saturday!! by deeptesting(m): 11:02pm On Aug 28, 2013
Horus: A military intervention in Syria is a big mistake
I totally agree with you,I feel the decision for a military intervention by U.S, UK and France is hasty and miscalculated. The UN Security Council is the only body that can authorize a military intervention in the face of any violation of its charter by any party...The U.S intervention will only lead to more civilian casualties and stretch the already over stretched region with refugees and spread of extremist from Arab nations against U.S and Israeli interest....My expectation was to see a more restricted use of weapons and a no fly zone....They have to allow the UN inspectors to conclude their investigation and any military intervention without the vote of the UN Security Council is a violation of the sovereignty of Syria.
