PDPGuy: The long awaited dream of having a single currency among the 15 member states of ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) to facilitate smooth regional trade in 2020 has taken a huge step forward, with calls of proposal for a name and logo for the proposed single currency.
The idea of a single currency has been in the pipeline since 1983, when leaders of the sub-region met to discuss other issues as well as the integration of the regional economy. However, in 2009, after years of little progress concerning the adoption of a single currency, the regional body in 2009 adopted a roadmap, with the aim of creating the ECOWAS single currency in 2020.
Four years later, in 2013, ECOWAS established a taskforce to oversee the process of furthering the creation of the single currency, given the numerous delays.
The taskforce met in Accra this year and revised the timeline for achieving a single currency. In addition to ten other programs, the task force set 2020 as a deadline for selecting the name of the ECOWAS single currency.
According to the terms of reference published on the Central Bank of Liberia’s website, the competition is open to all citizens of ECOWAS member states free of charge, with winning prizes ranging from US$10,000, US$8,000, and US$5,000 respectively for proposal that comes first, second and third place.
“Accordingly, all proposals for currency name shall not be based on the name of a person, ethnic group or contain expressions directly linked with a religion, country or national institution, among others. On the other hand, the logo shall, among other things, symbolize unity and shared cultural and historical values of ECOWAS.
“Each competitor may submit only one proposal for the name of the currency and/or the logo of the currency. Each participant shall confirm that the proposal is his/her personal and exclusive work and that all resources and data used in the creation of the proposal do not and will never constitute an infringement of moral or, intellectual property rights or the rights of a third person or entity,” the term of reference said. The term of reference said entries must be mailed to the ECOWAS Commission’s address in Nigeria by November 20, 2018. https://www.liberianobserver.com/news/ecowas-seeks-proposal-for-single-currency-logo-name/
Personally I don't suppose this idea of a common ecowas current Rather let each country maintain her currency but their values should be unified,I'm equally opposed to free movement of persons,my fear is the poor security capability n the prevailing security challenges especially in Nigeria,we need to be careful how we copy the Europeans considering our challenges.
Below is a statement from the ruling All progressives Congress, APC made available to PoliticsNGR, signed by its publicity secretary, Lanre Issa-Onilu;
"It is obvious that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alh. Atiku Abubakar tried to avoid signing the national peace accord ahead of the country’s 2019 General Elections.
To all discerning Nigerians, the PDP and Atiku’s dubious claim of a “communication lapse” as reason for their no-show at Tuesday’s formal signing ceremony is hogwash, as the peace committee duly and formally invited the PDP and Atiku like other candidates and political parties contesting the 2019 Elections.
Atiku’s eventual decision to sign the peace deal is clearly a face-saving move following widespread condemnation that greeted his initial refusal to agree to the peace deal. We, however, must not lose sight of the dangerous and ominous signs the PDP and Atiku have inadvertently shown Nigerians in the leadup to the elections.
Again, this brings to the fore, PDP's open declaration in August this year that the Party will deploy all “means, schemes, shenanigans in all ramification and magnitude” to manipulate the 2019 election.
The APC reiterates that security and other relevant agencies must be on high alert to check this dangerous threat posed by the PDP’s planned actions for the general elections. In 2019 and beyond, the votes of the electorate must count and the will of the electorate must prevail. We must stand against and resist plans by retrogressive elements who are now nested in the PDP and their agents to disrupt elections through violence and other undemocratic practices.
For signing the 2019 election national peace accord, the Party affirms the commitment of the President Muhammadu Buhari led APC government to a free and fair electoral process. The APC government has an abiding pledge towards a participatory, peaceful, credible and transparent elections.
How come all the candidates that are very vocal n confident of making critical statement against buhari were absent! yesterday, something certainly is wrong some where,Apc is evil.
zlantanfan: your bitterness would only consume you, why don't you go and accent it yourself
your own zombism will disgrace n destroy you, very soon you would be taken to next level of buhari feaces consumption from the present level of ass licking,I'm sure you would say it's very delicious.
zlantanfan: PDP and stupidity, the president isn't a rubber stamp to sign all your wishes, he has his constitutional duty to pass or sign.
If they are intelligent they would be finding the impossible 2/3 and stop wailing
You are just a zombie, buhari has refused to sign this bill for more than four times now despite all the concessions made by the NASS to accommodate his shenanigans,in fact in this last case ITA ENANG his adviser on national assembly matters was co-opted into the bill making process n given a draft of the bill for executive perusal ahead of passage by the NASS,there was no complain from buhari only for him to refuse to assent to it n you zombies want everyone to agree that your fake Mr integrity is acting in national interest!, it's not every body that is ass licker like you.
FlirtyGist: A lady, yesterday evening, broke the screens of her boyfriend’s television, laptop and phone over suspected infidelity in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Dorcas, a 200 Level Counseling Education student of the University of Ilorin, took the action after allegedly meeting a girl in her boyfriend, Sauce’s room, although, it was later revealed that he wasn’t cheating on her.
Sauce, who is said to be responsible for sponsoring Dorcas for the past three years, however, maintained his composure till she left his house.
Atiku, sowore,n obi we're tactically made to miss yesterday's peace signing ceremony simply for the fear that they may make statements very critical of buhari which the Apc deem might be embarrassing,if not did kukah n his group received confirmation of reception from all the invitees n if not what did they do about it,I hope buhari will not Dodge the debate now that he is selecting what to sign n what not.
mfm04622: I am presently listening to a radio program on Liberty Radio 91.7 in kaduna presently where the INEC representative has said again the incidence form will not be used. I know people only hear what they want to hear. INEC is not supporting rigging! card readers will be used! Incidence form will not be used! These are the truth!
If this is true then it will be great, but seriously I doubt inec's sincerity.
Nigerianiski: 2019: Despite Presidential Veto, INEC Forecloses Use Of Incident Form by jmaine : 7:29am The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said despite the refusal of President Muhammadu Buhari to assent to the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill 2018, which makes the use of card reader mandatory, the 2019 elections will not be conducted with incident form. INEC’s assurance is coming as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation has said the use of incident form in the impending general elections would be unacceptable to it. The electoral body, however, said the rejected bill would have addressed the controversies that trailed the 2015 exercise especially the place of technology and others that the amendments seek to address. Responding to THISDAY enquiry yesterday, INEC’s Director of Voter Education and Publicity, Mr. Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, said the presidential veto has created no lacuna in the electoral legal regime, explaining that the Electoral Act 2010 as amended in 2015 would be the operative law. According to him, “While it may be better to have the necessary amendments to avoid some of the controversies that trailed the 2015 exercise, especially the place of technology and others the amendments seek to cure, we can still have good elections with the extant act as we did in 2015, which were adjudged free, fair and credible.” Reacting to a report by an online newspaper that 13.5 million voters voted for Buhari without full biometric accreditation in 2015, Osaze-Uzzi said, “How was this determined? Biometric accreditation does not determine who a person votes for. Put another way, the card reader is used for biometric accreditation. It doesn’t determine how such persons vote. “Incident forms will not be used in 2019.” President Muhammadu Buhari had last week, for the fourth time withheld his assent to the amendment bill, citing legal drafting errors. In separate letters dated December 6 titled, ‘Presidential Decision to Decline Assent to the Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 2018’, addressed to the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and Speaker Yakubu Dogara of the House of Representatives, Buhari explained that he was declining assent “principally because passing a new electoral bill this far into the electoral process for the 2019 general election, which commenced under the 2015 Electoral Act, could create some uncertainties about the applicable legislation to govern the process.” The president also listed four provisions of the bill that required drafting amendments by the National Assembly. They include Section five of the bill amending section 18 of the principal act, which should indicate the subsection to which the substitution of the figure “30” for the figure “60” is to be effected and Section 11 of the bill amending Section 36 should indicate the subsection in which the proviso is to be introduced. But the PDP presidential campaign said the use of incident form would not be acceptable to it in 2019. One of the spokespersons, Mr. Segun Sowunmi, said that outpouring of goodwill by Nigerians since the PDP started its zonal presidential campaigns was an indication that the All Progressives Congress (APC) could not win the election in a free and fair contest. He stated, “I want to tell INEC that it is a major unacceptable embarrassment that the business of incident forms will now take precedence over the card reader. “Card reader is what must be encouraged to be the only thing that will be used for the 2019 elections. But how can we trust the integrity of the process if it is compromised by incident forms and underage people voting .” Sowunmi insisted that the 2019 elections should be a celebration of the development of the country’s democratic journey, which he said could only be achieved if INEC conducts free, fair, credible and transparent elections in 2019. An online newspaper at the weekend reported that at least 13.5 million Nigerians voted manually, without biometric accreditation, in the 2015 presidential election, according to data from INEC, part of the problems the amendment bill seeks to address. The data, obtained by DeepDive Intelligence, shows that Buhari, candidate of the APC, won in nine of the 10 most-affected states, notwithstanding that the non-use of PVCs during the poll cut across all the political parties’ strongholds. The 2015 presidential election had two major contenders, Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s first incumbent president to lose a re-election bid. Of the 31,746,490 accredited voters in the election, 13,536,311, representing 42.6 per cent of voters , voted without biometric accreditation. Out of this number, 10,184,720 votes are from states won by Buhari and 3,351,591 votes came from states won by Jonathan, the PDP candidate, representing 75 per cent and 25 per cent of accredited voters respectively. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/12/10/2019-despite-presidential-veto-inec-forecloses-use-of-incident-form/
Alright thanks,it will be great if this news is true but I seriously doubt the sincerity of INEC in this, already there is a news item in vanguard today where an unnamed INEC official said the incident forms are now part of the electoral register, but thank God an INEC official said this,it shall serve as a reference point next year.

agwom: The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will use card readers during the 2019 general elections but ruled out the electronic transmission of results.
This is coming days after President Muhammadu Buhari’s rejection of the Electoral Act amendment bill sent to him by the National Assembly.
However, INEC chairman Prof Mahmud Yakubu said the commission would deploy card readers in every polling unit in the country just as it did in 2015.
Yakubu, who spoke during the public hearing on the menace of vote buying and improving the country’s electoral processes, said the commission had finished all preparations towards the use of the card reader.
The public hearing was organised by the joint National Assembly committee on electoral matters and political parties’ affairs jointly chaired by Sen Suleiman Nazif Gamawa (PDP, Bauchi) and Rep Aishatu Jibril Dukku (APC, Gombe) respectively. However, the INEC chairman said the commission was yet to configure the card readers to match specific polling units, noting that INEC will do that in the coming weeks.
Responding to questions from some senators and stakeholders, Prof Yakubu said: “For those talking about whether INEC would use card reader during the 2019 elections or not, I want to assure that INEC will deploy card reader in every polling unit in the country.
“This is an assurance from the commission, and we are ever ready to do that, although we are yet to configure the card readers to match every polling unit.”
Senate President Bukola Saraki, had while declaring the hearing open, urged INEC, security agencies and other stakeholders to ensure free, fair and credible polls in 2019.
He said INEC should improve on the unprecedented record it set during the 2015 elections, pointing out vote buying is currently one of the most disturbing challenges of Nigeria’s political process.
The joint committee chairmen, Gamawa and Dukku said the public hearing was organised to give Nigerians an opportunity to suggest possible ways of tackling vote buying.
Disquiet over electronic transmission of results
But Daily Trust reports that beyond the issue of card reader, the leadership of the two chambers of the National Assembly, led by Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara, with acting support of the leadership of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) want the amended Electoral Act assented to so that other issues including electronic transmission of results would be backed by law and therefore mandatory.
It was gathered that the PDP leaders had at a recent meeting with other stakeholders in the electoral process expressed fears that besides the reasons given by President Muhammadu Buhari for not assenting to the Electoral Act amendment, the Presidency and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) do not want the new electoral act for now simply because they have perfected plans to rig the 2019 elections.
Mr INEC chair, the issue is not just deploying card reader, but insisting n making sure that they worked properly n the prohibition of the dubious use of incidents forms, the card reader itself can only be of real value if accreditation n voting will be done simultaneously if not it is still only a celebrated nonsense, there is the need for our elections to be completely computerized if we are really desirous of credible n transparent elections, why is INEC refusing to use electronic means of transmitting results if there is no hidden dubious plans of result alterations after voting? ordinary INEC don't need any legislation to use electronic means to transmit results it should have been an innovation from them to fasten the process while keeping the paper records in case of legitations, buhari sure knows why he is vehemently oppose to the electoral amendment even after so many concessions from NASS to accommodate his shenanigans, buhari/Apc are pure evil that Nigerians should n must do away with in 2019.
zlantanfan: lol, did same kwankwanso not pack his supporters and the full PDP northwest to sokoto rally.
That rally for their entire northwest you gushed about won't even reach half of just a state when buhari visits
You have not answered the question,go back n read it again carefully then be bold to answer it directly, don't Dodge n change it so that we can keep it on record.
zlantanfan: So just first lady of a state can organise this massive crowd in "one town of an lga" for just "women alone" which is bigger than the pdp NC rally.
If ganduje, shekaru and buhari storms Kano, na mecca he go be dat day
I hope when kwankwaso n Atiku decides to storm kano, your Apc will not be jittery to stop them giving imaginary excuses?
yns4real: Her Excellency Dr Hafsat Umar Ganduje the Wife of the Kano State Governor, flagged off the Women for Buhari and Ganduje 2019 campaign in Kofa town in Bebeji Local Government of Kano State, with Hon @AbdulAbmJ as the host.
These are the characters buhari is associating with while brandishing his fake integrity but will turn around to accuse others of been corrupt, buhari is just a hypocritical evil.
The statement that "the PDP will never be allowed", doesn't it connotes a very dangerous n disturbing meanings or implications,I hope osibanjo n his Apc are not planning something evil should they loss the elections next year or perhaps the dogs n the baboons are already prepared to be soak in blood!,I now wholly believe saraki that this so called trade money stuff is pure vote buying in disguise, osibanjo is a disgrace to pastorhood.
Modarun: The delay and refusal of state governments in providing land for ranches has made the Federal Government to realise that it has more than enough land for the purpose in the different states , OKECHUKWU NNODIM writes
The Federal Government has decided to use some of its own land in various parts of the country for the establishment of ranches in order to put an end to clashes between herders and farmers across the nation. It was learnt that the Federal Government ’ s decision was prompted by the continued delay of state governments in providing land for ranches . Our correspondent gathered that the Federal Government would use its land as well as some identified grazing reserves for the establishment of ranches. On July 14 , 2018 , it was exclusively reported by Saturday PUNCH that with the refusal of some state governors to give land for ranching, the Federal Government had decided to reactivate and convert about 177 out of the 415 grazing reserves across the country to ranches . It was also reported that aside from Kogi State that had officially agreed to provide about 5, 000 hectares of land , no other state had publicly announced willingness to provide land for ranches or cattle colonies , which the Federal Government favours . Governors of the South- East states in July rose from a meeting in Enugu with a decision that no land would be made available for the establishment of cattle ranches in the zone, while other states have deliberately been delaying in acceding to the request of the Federal Government. Officials of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, however , stated that the Federal Government was still making plans to establish ranches across the country despite the delay by state governments . They told our correspondent in Abuja that the government recently realised that it had more than enough land for this purpose. The Director , FMARD , Tolu Makinde , said , “The latest decision is that the government has more land than required, even as far as ranching is concerned . There are various pieces of land in different locations across the country that have been documented and gazetted, the Federal Government has decided that it is better to use them than ask state governments to donate land . “So , the decision has been taken and the issue now is funding, but as soon as the release from the 2018 budget starts to come in, the government will come up directly with what it intends to do. So many options are being considered .” Makinde noted that with the latest development, the government would not compel any state to donate land for the establishment of ranches or grazing reserves . He, however , observed that a lot of people had encroached on some of the Federal Government ’ s grazing reserves , adding that the remaining ones and the available land were more than enough for the establishment of cattle ranches . Makinde added , “The fact now is that the government has discovered that it has more land and it is not compelling any state to donate land for grazing reserves or for ranches. “It may interest you to know that the number of grazing reserves that the government has ; some of them have been encroached upon . However, the remaining available ones are more than enough .” When asked to state where the Federal Government ’ s pieces of land were located , he replied, “Before Nigeria got independence , the colonial masters actually had land scattered from Maiduguri to Sokoto , up to Oyo. These were large expanses of land that were mainly left for only grazing . “And so , when the herders are migrating with their cattle, they go to these pieces of land ; they don ’ t go to the land of other people. But problem started when we now decided to create states, as some of the land fell within some states. And some state governments decided to take them over . “However, the ones that are documented and gazetted right now are more than enough for the Federal Government to use , instead of asking state governments to donate . So , it is the gazetted land that the government is trying to do something about as well as the identified grazing reserves .” Another official of the ministry stated that the government would use the gazetted land as demonstration grazing centres. “The government is going to use the gazetted land as demonstration centres, because it will have security there. There will be dams in these grazing centres to ensure adequate water supply , ” the official , who pleaded to remain anonymous, said. “This is because three things are required in these centres. There must be security , water and fodder , which is grass for the cattle to feed on. So , anybody who wants to make use of the place will bring his livestock there and pay some token . This is against the earlier claim that the government is trying to take the land of citizens, ” the official stated. The ministry said it would commence public enlightenment campaigns to educate Nigerians on the need to create ranches and why the Federal Government would use its own land for the purpose . “It is becoming clear now that we don ’ t have any vibrant alternative to addressing the clashes than the establishment of ranches . And this is because it is going to benefit the farmers and herdsmen . Also , the minister ( of agriculture ) recently revealed that there is going to be a programme for artificial insemination in some of these centres , ” Makinde stated . He noted that a number of state governments gave indication that they would provide land for ranches , but only Kogi State had fulfilled its part . It was also learnt that about 15 other states had volunteered to provide land for the establishment of cattle ranches . They include Adamawa , Kano , Kaduna , Katsina , Zamfara, Kebbi , Nasarawa and Plateau . Others are Bauchi , Gombe , Borno, Jigawa , Yobe, Niger and Kwara states. Findings from the headquarters of the FMARD in Abuja showed that while there were dissenting voices in some of the documented states that had volunteered to provide land , the 15 states had agreed to provide 5 , 000 hectares of land each for the establishment of ranches. Earlier this year , the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh , announced that the establishment of cattle colonies in the states that had volunteered land would commence within weeks . This, however , has not happened . Senior officials at the agriculture ministry re -echoed what Ogbeh said , as they stressed that the Federal Government would not force any state to volunteer land for the initiative . The officials , however , stated that the 16 northern states had been documented as locations where the initiative would start , adding that the government was canvassing support from more states , particularly from the southern part of the country. Ogbeh’ s Special Assistant on Media , Olukayode Oyeleye , and Makinde provided our correspondent with various speeches by the minister, which extensively explained how the Federal Government planned to go about the initiative .
The act of using state power n resources to advance the objectives of his kinsmen to the detriment of other ethno-religious groups without care about national harmony, peace n development is the real reason why buhari is so much supported in the far north, it's so unfortunate that the other parts of the country has failed to see through the man buhari, his history, antecedents n ambitions but has continued to fall for the deciet that buhari is honest with integrity,I hope the scales don't fall off the eyes when it's too late.

Is this not politically motivated jamboree for electoral gains?,if not why cat the state legislatures whose states r not complying with the constitutional provision simply approach the supreme court for judicial interpretations n enforcement, even with all these dirty schemings zombies will still fill the air with their dirty rantings of buhari has integrity!,most times I wonder they actually understood what integrity means.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says President Muhammadu Buhari will neither steal nor allow stealing in his administration.
He said this on Saturday in Lagos as he commenced a door-to-door campaign for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2019 general election.
While speaking with party members from the 57 local council development areas (LCDA) in the state, Osinbajo urged them to go from house to house to tell the people about the achievements of the party after three years in office.
The vice-president said they must prevent people who have stolen money from the nation’s treasury in the past from coming back into government.
“After 16 years of ensuring that the country did not make progress, they want to come back. They will never come back again. We are making progress and we will continue to make progress. We are going to the next level,” Osinbajo said.
“Our major problem in Nigeria is corruption; it’s not plans. There are so many plans. If you allow the resources of the country to be stolen, no plan can work. The difference between Muhammadu Buhari and any other president is that he will not steal and he will not allow stealing.
“The most important thing of all is that we will prevent a situation where people who have stolen our money in the past come back into government. If they do, there won’t be progress no matter what they say.
“The money of this country must be preserved so that it will benefit us all. Education, healthcare, jobs, if you don’t have money, you can’t do them.
“There are only two types of leaders in Nigeria, those who want to steal the money and those want to use the money for the common good.
“If we want progress for our country, we must make sure that we put in place those who want to use the money for the common good, not those who want to steal it.”
perhaps osibanjo should start by preaching to Aisha first, there are so many cases of theft n corruption under this government which buhari n osibanjo has turn blind n deaf to yet osibanjo goes around shamelessly with this decietful uterances hoping to decieve the gullible, the same so call looted money was used to sponsor buhari's election in 2015,in fact Amaechi was referred to as the ATM during Apc primaries, most of the so call looters are today winning n dinning with buhari yet osibanjo still claim with out shame that buhari has integrity, osibanjo should get prepared when he squares up with Peter obi in a debate let him raise this nonsense talk n see how obi will take him to the cleaners,I just hope that osibanjo n buhari will not chicken out for some silly excuse.
mmb: Throwback Photo: Buhari & Joshua Gin Looking At A Rifle Seized From Biafran Soldiers In Awka 1969
You people have come wit your lies n decietful image laundry for your dullard, was buhari a Lt.col in 1969?, everything about buhari is all lies, Fabrications, distortions, propaganda n deceptions.mtuhaa!spits out!.
It is clear from this letter that buhari is deliberately deploying dirty tactics to scuttle the amendment of the electoral act to block his party's rigging plans, for one the Apc has members in the amendment committee through whom the government can access the amendment process n make her imputs this they failed to do on several occasions, two buhari always wait till the last day to deny assent, thirdly buhari by the previledge of his office has now assume the false status of 'onmiscience' n only he can decide when a legislation should be enacted n how it should be drafted!, those supporting n cheering buhari on should be mindful of the dangerous precedent buhari is setting n remember that there is a tommorow, all sane Nigerians need to wake up and atikulate for 2019, Nigeria needs a competent, experienced, knowledgeable, nationalistic n above all a life full president.
Even after the adjustments to accommodate his earliy complaints, may buhari wants the NASS to allow him decide what should be included in the bill before he will assent to it,the zombies will never see anything wrong in this as if buhari will last forever.
buchilino: HONESTLY, NOBODY CAN UNDERSTAND A SINGLE THING U JUST SAID
Yes fools will certainly not understand until they experienced the pains of the folly of this directives but the wise will understand from the lessons of history.
MalcoImX: The administrative umbrella organisation of Igbo residents in the Northern states and the federal capital territory, the Igbo Delegates Assembly, IDA, has barred people of the South-East residing in the North from travelling to their states of origin during the 2019 general elections.
IDA warned that any person, who flouts the directive, would be fined an undisclosed amount of money.
The warning was issued following an extraordinary meeting of the body in Barnawa, Kaduna State and was contained in a statement jointly signed by its President General, Chief Chikezie Nwogu, and Secretary General, Austin Ofokansi Ifedinezi.
The statement reads, “We want our people to stay in their respective states and cast their votes. The era of running home during elections cannot be tolerated again.
“There is no need for us to go home at every election because if you do that you will automatically disenfranchise yourself.
“We have done a lot of sensitisation. We have also educated our people on this and we all agreed. That is why we decided to place an embargo. And if you travel, IDA will fine such person(s).”
This IDA people are very foolish, did the igbos registered in those places if yes will they be allowed to vote peacefully?,how about igbos registered in the east should they automatically loss the chance to vote?,the abokis will surely move enmass back to the north to vote will you fine them too?,can you guarantee the peace n safety of the lives n properties of the igbos if things turn bad? it's only a fool that would heed this warning without due diligence.
Newznow: Aisha buhari said Shocking truth about her husband and his Co members. Aisha Buhari speaking some gospel truth here. Her husband is not in charge of Nigeria. Two or three nameless people are. She concluded saying, Nigerians should come out and participate!!!
If Aisha is saying her husband buhari is under siege n not truly in control invariably meaning buhari is just an incompetent dullard, but turns around to ask Nigerians come out n fight, come out to fight who buhari or the canal she's not confident n bold enough to name?, this revelation simply n clearly explains why nothing is working fine in the country except through lies deciet n propaganda by buhari handlers,it should therefore serve as great motivation towards reclaiming the country to make it work again by atikulating in 2019.
PoliticsNGR has just gathered that the Speaker of the Imo state House of Assembly, Acho Ihim alongside 17 lawmakers have dumped the rulingAll Progressives Congress, APC for the Action Alliance Party.
Uche Nwosu, son-in-law to Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State, who had been tipped by Okorocha to secure the APC governorship ticket, had also dumped the APC after issues that led to his losing the ticket.
On Tuesday, he had also announced his intention to run for Governor of Imo State on the platform of the Action Alliance, stating that “injustice, impunity, and lack of respect for party’s constitution” forced him out of APC.
The good people of Imo should avoid okorocha n all his associates irrespective of the political platform they adopt n do away completely with the evil Apc in their state, because all this desperate scheming by okorocha n his boys to finally go back to the den of liars after securing their positions after the elections n continue the family like mafia hijacking of imo affairs.
Mysteryque: The Imo State Governor, Mr. Rochas Okorocha has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to call the All Progressives Congress National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to order.
Okorocha in a statement signed by Sam Onwuemeodo his Chief Press Secretary said ‘since Muhammadu Buhari became President he has never used any foul language on any Nigerian, low or high, and that is the best way to go. And Oshiomhole should borrow a leaf from Mr. President. One of the reasons the PDP lost in 2015 was the abuses the handlers of the Party then were heaping on the APC Presidential Candidate then, and the President today, Muhammadu Buhari. Oshiomhole should be advised not to tow the 2015 PDP line.’
Okorocha also said ‘that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is the former President of the country. And no matter the provocation or his political activities this time, Oshiomhole should have considered his status as the former President of the Country in talking about him, and should have exercised caution in addressing him. Saying that God would punish the former President was never advisable. This should not be the language of APC.’
Read full statement below
The most recent media attack on Governor Rochas Okorocha and some other governors of APC extraction by the National Chairman of the Party, Adams Oshiomhole refers.
We won’t take the pain to begin to talk about all the abuses, but to humbly plead with President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the leader of the party, to call Oshiomhole to order.
The Party’s National Chairman has, in less than six months, enthroned the culture of rascality into the Party and the development is not good for the Party. APC is not known for rascality and abuses. And the earlier he is called to order the better for the party.
Since Muhammadu Buhari became President he has never used any foul language on any Nigerian, low or high, and that is the best way to go. And Oshiomhole should borrow a leaf from Mr. President. One of the reasons the PDP lost in 2015 was the abuses the handlers of the Party then were heaping on the APC Presidential Candidate then, and the President today, Muhammadu Buhari. Oshiomhole should be advised not to tow the 2015 PDP line.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is the former President of the Country. And no matter the provocation or his political activities this time, Oshiomhole should have considered his status as the former President of the Country in talking about him, and should have exercised caution in addressing him. Saying that God would punish the former President was never advisable. This should not be the language of APC.
APC does not belong to Oshiomhole. He should therefore be advised to carefully select his words when he is talking about certain categories of Nigerians. And he should also find out why he is the only one talking about APC and no other member of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party is doing so.
Oshiomhole should help the party and its Candidates by making his points without abusing people. The way Oshiomhole is talking has become nauseating to most Nigerians and the earlier he is called to Order, the better. He should be talking about the achievements of President Buhari and APC as a party instead of using the opportunities he would have used to do that, to be insulting people.
To say the least, few weeks to the elections, APC and its Candidates do not need Oshiomhole’s abuses or insults but the reasons Nigerians should re-elect President Buhari and elect APC Candidates.
it's a lie, oshiomole is only copying buhari who has continuously used foul language on other Nigerians apart from himself n his admirers,he has on several occasions refer to the opposition as thieves,he has refer to the youth as lazy n illiterates,so oshiomole n buhari are just the opposite side of the same coin.greed wouldn't alloy people like okorocha to summoned courage n speak the truth, buhari is completely in the know of all the doings of oshiomole but okorocha would rather kill oshiomole but lick buhari's asshole out of fear but all will eventually come to nought.
myboy2111: The Kashimbilla Hydropower Plant in Taraba State is 100 per cent complete and will commence generating about 40 megawatts (MW) of electricity by February, 2019, to the national grid, the Federal Government has said. Flashback:Work commenced on the Project in 2016, when Minister of Power, Works and Housing said that work would begin this year on the 40 megawatts Kashimbila Hydro Power Plant in Taraba.
The kashimbila dam may have been completed during buhari regime but it is a fat black lie that buhari regime initiated n completed it!in the nation's newspaper of 22/9/2014,Mrs Sarah ochepe minister of water resources spoke about this very dam that was already in construction so this is just the Apc/buhari usual character of distorting history n decietfully claiming unmerited achievements, pdp constructed Alaoji, olorunshogo n other power facilities during their time n significantly upping the nation's power generation capacity only for Apc/buhari to come n claim credit for it without adding a single new MW generation. In Apir along makurdi- otukpo road pdp built a gigantic power transmission facility that was almost completed,im sure the day it will be commissioned Apc will claim it started n completed it,Apc can only decieve the gullible n certainly not those who are better informed.

National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar as 'unfit' to rule Nigeria.
PoliticsNGR learned that Tinubu made the comment while delivering a Keynote address at a meeting of the National Consultative Forum organized by the national Committee of Buhari Support Groups held yesterday in Abuja.
Tinubu described Atiku as “a merry-go-round and carnival-like politician with no focus or mission.” In his words;
“Atiku could build a house of the party membership cards he has accumulated. But one thing he should remember is that a man who builds a house of cards ought not to cast stones at a man who is building a house with a firm and true foundation.
He should also realise that such a feeble house will collapse as soon as the wind of truth blows it.”
He also attacked Atiku’s campaign pledge to ensure 14 million new jobs yearly, and crashing of fuel pump price, describing them as lies that have no basis for actualisation.
The APC leader berated former President Olusegun Obasanjo for suddenly doing a somersault to endorse Atiku’s presidential bid after vowing never to support him, saying the move by the former president to mend fences with his former deputy was not a sincere one.
He dismissed the PDP’s call for the resignation of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, and the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, describing it as blackmail.
Tinubu also spoke on the role being played by Senate President Bukola Saraki in the opposition party, describing him as a sell-out, who used APC’s mandate to negotiate with the opposition.
He said that the President Muhammadu Buhari will win the 2019 general Election adding that his administration has done well in fighting Boko Haram and handling the economy.
