Big brother expects a serious housemate to stay in the show till he/she is evicted or till the end except on serious grounds as ill health/death of a loved one. Simple logical scenerios. Next time, wait until you see the ending of a matter.

I agree petrol engines would be around for longer than we think, especially due to its versatility and safety. electric cars and green energy may lead to a huge surge in demand of petroluem but virtually all the products used in manufacturing are by products of petoleum. Oil is not going anywhere soon, we may only cut down on our carbon footprint.
