Initiating today's service with a charging Exhortation tagged "What is Your Expectation" from the Bible book of Mark 5:21 -following the story of the woman who touched Jesus among the multitude and was granted her own expectations, while challenging members of GraceMade Christian Centre on their own expectations for being in the presence of God.

"At every point in life, there's always a beautiful thing about Prayer but an enemy of expectation is distraction"
Also, Matthew 14: 25- 30 narrates how Peter got distracted by the boisterous wind and began to sink.

Followed by a fiery music ministration from the GraceMade choir, and aptly commended by lead Pastor Seun Osigbesan with "GraceMade Service is on Fire, tell your neighbor My life is a testimony of God's mighty hand of deliverance". The subject of today's teaching was finally introduced.

Title: NO MORE LACK

Through the above scriptures, Pastor Seun Osigbesan was able to prove "Lack is not God's idea, for he's a God of overflow and abundance. Don't manage for God because He's not a God of management science". Most importantly "Don't let the level of your mind determine the magnitude of your dreams because God is bigger than your dreams"

The lead Pastor proceeded to share vital reasons why people lack

1. People don't engage in productive labour (financial or material equivalence)
2nd Thess.3vs10. Ephesians 4vs28

2. Bad spending habits. Proverbs 21vs20
Contrary to what people think, lack is not a spiritual problem. When you have in abundance, learn to control your spending habits and avoid impulse spending.

3. Poor savings culture
No matter how much prayer and fasting, without saving culture, lack is knocking but not your door in Jesus name.

4. Lack of quality relationships. Luke 6vs38.
Human beings are agents of help as God doesn't spend cash in heaven. God designed life for people to help people. You must be deliberate and intentional about building quality relationships

Also, Integrity is a value, whatever you do, don't lose your integrity. Learn to be content in your situation.

5. Poverty Mindset.
Always look beyond your lack situation and never acclimatize to such. Be a rebel against lack

How to Overcome Lack

1. Develop an abundance mindset such that even in a lack situation, keep a mental picture of a preferable future.

2. Develop a savings culture.
Life is about time and chance. Everyone at some point in life will have a season of abundance and what you do then determines the rest of your lives. Just like the period of abundance in Egypt where if not for Joseph who knew how God works that saved a nation. Think futuristic.

3. Avoid debts.
The story of Elijah and the widow with two sons shows that the fear of God doesn't exempt anyone from Lack. Don't borrow for consumption or what you can't repay.

4. Give as a form of investment
Be careful of who you give, how you give and what you give. Invest in Heaven as heaven can't fail and invest in parents but set priorities straight.

5. Process your gift.
There's always a gift in your house to be processed. Everything to take you out of lack is in you.

P.S. Rebuke Lack in your life. Because sometimes Lack can be a demon that needs to be cast out.

Referencing the Yoruba proverb "You do not fear the receiver of a message but the sender" which is God this time, Rev. Bajomo advises that the first steps matter in everything in life, as "Jonah was supposed to shift (forward) to Nineveh but instead began to sink (downwards) to Tashish. Understandably shifting can be painful at times but it must happen "Just like Covid19 has brought about the need to shift globally, down to even the spiritual realm".

Reinforcing that Humanity was thrown into the satanic bond of manipulation because Adam and Eve fell (sank), likewise you can't cover repentance with prayer (it is nonnegotiable), the good Reverend charged everyone present for the New Covenant worship on areas where we must shift.

Have Faith in God

Today's fiery teaching on the need to Have Faith in God by Rev Olufemi Kayode Bajomo at the New Covenant Church- Iju, helps us understand that "every moment with the Lord is an opportunity to learn and grow"

Highlighting our Lord's encounter with the fig tree as an instance of how people can look big and flamboyant on the outside, until closer inspection reveals spiritual emptiness on the inside. Rev. Bajomo admonishes us as christians to observe major events in our lives as lessons with a commensurate reaction of growth, since our Father the Creator has clear knowledge of our supposed development.

The Language of Faith is possibilities

You Can Not Be Too Smart For God

1. You are limited in what you can see unless you allow God to lead you. Some men speak solutions to situations and some complicate the confusion.

2. Don't get stuck in the statistics and forget the voice of God, because listening to that voice in any situation will always lead to a testimony.

3. You are either intimidated and subjugated OR stand to get perfected and elevated.

Further wielding the Bible to buttress his teachings, Rev. Kayode Bajomo expressed more insights as to what Faith represents

1. Faith is not a denial of reality but a controller of reality to conform to the purpose of God.

2. Faith is an attitude in your heart that is expressed through your mouth.

3. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
