This year’s edition of the annual Oxford Africa Conference (OAC) hosted by the Oxford University Africa Society, is scheduled for May 28th - 30th 2021. In a statement released by Chibugo (Chi) Okafor, an MBA candidate at the Oxford University who is also a co-chair of this year’s conference states that this yearly intellectual gathering which brings together former and serving heads of state, policy makers, business leaders, seasoned academics, opinion leaders, artists, students and distinguished professionals of African descent.

Over the years, the conference has become a forum for critical evaluation and deliberation on Africa’s past, present and future, with the unchanging goal of charting a way forward for Africa.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Rewriting Our Story and Asserting Africa’s Future.” The conference will feature practical and solution-oriented conversations centred on Africa’s development from an economic, political, environmental, security and health perspective – with emphasis on the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his words, Daniel Ogoloma, a student at Oxford University and the Communications Manager for the Oxford Africa conference, captured the whole essence and mission of the conference succinctly, “Our aim is to use this conference as a platform to uplift, mobilise and propel Africans in the diaspora and on the continent. We want attendees to leave inspired enough to change the African story by implementing key strategies from the insightful reflections and discussions that stand to be held at the Conference”.

This edition of the conference will take a different dimension. Chi Okafor reiterates that “Due to the current global pandemic, this will be the first virtual Oxford Africa Conference. Bearing in mind today's world's, ongoing national unrest and global decay, Reverend Kayode Olufemi Bajomo of New Covenant Church- Iju Center, concludes his insightful Pathfinder Bible Study series with a prayer session for the abducted students of Greenfield University, which was led by Pastor Oluyemisi Bajomo.

Recognizing the advancements of space technology down to the Hubble Telescope which can see above the earth's atmosphere, Reverend Bajomo describes how Jesus Christ can see clearly above the earth, above limitations.

"The best of all gifts is the one you give to the least, which is among reasons Jesus considers us brothers and joint heirs, even being the rightful owner of the throne.

"Everything we do to brothers and sisters of Jesus, we do to God,- remembering Paul who persecuted and imprisoned Christians. Our lives should be a platform for the display and expression of God's goodness, as we live our lives with the end in view".

Summary is there's a starting point and ending point- Reward or Retribution on the basis of the works of our hands because post salvation, we do the works of Christ.

2. Death: Everyone dies physically but not spiritually because our soul and spirit continues to exist beyond. Heb. 9vs27

3. Destination: After death, we are either in heaven or hell. John. 3vs18.

4. Resurrection: John. 5vs28-29.
Everyone receives a resurrected immortal body, mortality will put on immortality. 1Cor. 15vs50-58: Philipians. 3vs20-21.

5. Repayment/ Reward: which is based on what we did on earth, everyone's work will be judged by Christ and our walk will determine the degree of Reward in Heaven or Retribution in hell. John. 5vs22: Matt. 23vs14: Rev. 20vs11-15: 2Cor. 5vs10.

6. Eternity: Live forever in the presence or absence of God. Eternity is a real life in a real place where you'll experience the consequences of your beliefs and actions while on earth. Matt. 25vs46: John. 14vs1-3.

What people consider the end is actually the beginning of another journey

Verse 12 talks about God's promise and verse 13 talks about the condition.

The Promised land is governed by rules, hence its not a lawless kingdom, so how well you keep that law determines how much you enjoy the land.

Its based on obedience, seek instructions to obey, wise people always look for instructions to comply with while most people attempt to use prayers to cover their disobedience.

Access to that promised land doesn't grant automatic enjoyment.

The extent of our obedience determines the extent of our blessings. We are at our best when we obey God

Faith is always now, I am feasting on the glory of God and God's Word is true whether we believe it or not. It has always been and it always will be.

What is Faith?
Faith is a spiritual force, powerful unseen force used by the almighty God. Faith is generated by the Word of God and hearing by the Covenant of God.

God is the biggest loser, in the sense that He lost His man, woman that he created, and lost His only Son.

The blessings of Abraham came by Faith in covenant, he believed God.
How do you give glory to God? By being strong in faith, strong at all times- good times, bad ones, strong times and weak ones.

Certain Fundamental Rules Governing Faith
Faith being an absolute force has laws that govern it, take for instance; laws that govern electricity are definite laws but the same electricity that provides power to sound system to over 50,000 people will also kill, there my friend is a blessing and a curse. Faith comes from the spirit. There is a rule of the spirit, for God who is a spirit created all natural things.

Mark. 5vs26-34.
This story shows how easy Jesus is to serve and receive from. The woman knew and was sure of where the annointing is- She said it, believed it and felt it. Most people dont know Jesus is a preacher; Thy faith has made thee whole. Let's give Him praise.

Corresponding actions as she did it shows she received it in her heart before she felt it.
You have to see yourself with it, stop seeing yourself poor or sick in your mind and you'll receive it.
The absolute prescription for healing and anything is in Proverbs. 4vs20. Which is God's Word. His medicine to all flesh, take it 3 times daily and if the need be, double the dose, double up on Bible readings, scriptural messages, good preachings everyday on the Word of God.

Influential Nigerian statesman, essayist and one time Special Assistant to a former President, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has now shed more light on unpopular circumstances surrounding his brief dalliance with APC few years back, and revealing the damndest good reasons behind his actions.

The orator had been accused of being a serial cross party candidate during the interview session with a presenter, which he boldly clarifies in simple terms by pointing out what makes him tick as a political strategist.

"Let me start by asking your definition of the word serial, because for around 20 years that I've been in politics,i mean in the same party have been in PDP since 2002, which i joined initially right up till the end, except for one occasion."


He made to clarify by citing cases of actual serial cross partying and why his movement doesn't warrant being tagged "serial party crosser"

"I was in APC for 9 months and sure i went back. Its not 2 crossing, simply one crossing and i went back home. In almost 20 years of being in a party, i went to another party for another 9 months and i went back to my party, so thats the first thing we have to make clear. Now if you want to talk about serial party crossers, please direct this topic to people like Bola Tinubu, El Rufai, Saraki and others. They are the ones that come and go. And if i choose to go to another party tomorrow i have my reasons. I dont join political parties simply because i want to be on the winning side. I dont leave political parties simply because the weather is changing and I've changed my mind. I chose to leave PDP at the time of which there was a damn good reason for it. And i told the president at the time why i left."

Fani-Kayode, in clear terms narrated the situation behind his supposed serial party crossing, which he blames on inadequate representation of the S/West

"I left Because the representation of the S/West- Yoruba people weren't enough within that party at the time and also i thought Boko Haram was not being fought enough and nine months later after being on the other side for a while, I realized what was brewing and unlike many others, after recognizing the fact that this was a party formation that was not gonna work well for Nigeria, changed my mind and decided to try and fix the problems within PDP. Which we did because when i came back we gained far more representation for Yorubas in the PDP and decided to go back to the field. There was anybody in the S/west at that time was in APC, yet we managed to get 49% of the vote for PDP in the 2015 elections for Jonathan. Im very happy about that"

Speaking on his adventures as a political activist with influence across major sectors, Fani-Kayode stressed how his activities and lending his voice has helped shape the nation's course in recent years, citing various communities that have benefited and what it takes to be a statesman.

"Many people refused to say a word, many of the cowards talking today refused to talk or speak or criticize President Buhari for 5 years. From day 1 i started and went on right up until very recently, criticizing him everyday. Now thats not a serial party crosser. That is a consistent man. Im so consistent because im telling the opposition right now if you want to know. To your question between PDP and APC, now as we speak theres very little distinction between both parties. There are no distinction between the two of them and I'll tell you this, if you have fundamental issues, values and core principles it becomes very difficult to know precisely where you stand because if you say you're in PDP because you believe in restructuring, you have to ask are they ready to restructure, the answer probably will be we dont know what you mean. The same with APC. As for me you know what i do? I interact with individuals and interact with people i believe can move the country forward regardless of APC/PDP whichever party they're in. Ive realized there are far more to be gained with that than to be waving your flag somewhere saying I'm PDP whereas the PDP itself is not what you want it to be and you really dont know what to do because nobody is speaking truth out, everybody is scared. Theres no real opposition in Nigeria, the opposition comes from individuals i can name for you. People that are not even in political parties, they stand up and speak truth and enunciate the principles that we need to get our country back and these are not political persons. So I'm one of those that really don't place too much on political parties unless of course im looking for political power which is another thing entirely. Looking for political power, i have to operate within the confines of political parties inorder to achieve that because you need a platform. But for me, im interested in enunciating, speaking truth. Standing up for truth, speaking against those that would seek to oppress, enslave and destroy us, create a better future for my people and thats the most important thing for me, not APC or PDP or anything like that. But im consistent in terms of my principles, values, what i stand for and what i believe in. Nobody in this country has spoken up more for Ibos than i have done over the last few years, Nobody in this country has spoken up more for middle belters more than I have in the last5 years. Nobody in this country has spoken up for Christians more than i have done in the last 5 years and I'm very proud of that. And increasingly now very few people have spoken up like i have done for ordinary people in core north itself that are being killed on a daily basis by boko haram and fulani herdsmen. That is what i find to be important and not in any political alignment to achieve a political objective of becoming President or vice president or anything like that. That is where the real men stand and not im in PDP, APC, and i must stand there always,just waving a flag and pretend. I dont do that."

Vindication for his Actions in 2014.

We must appreciate one thing and this is taking your path and you realize what that path brings your people. They are the ones to determine whether to continue the destructive path or change course and go on another one. Ive been vindicated by the position i took in 2014 when PDP got involved. I went back and was completely vindicated by my position about APC where they got it really wrong because they pursued an agenda which im completely and absolutely against. Now even they're beginning to retrace their steps. The new leadership of APC today, people like Yahaya Bello, they're moderates, decent people that are not those I'm against. And so the lines are blurred but the most important thing is to have the courage of your conviction. To honor your core principles and what you believe in and what do i believe in? I believe in restructuring, equality of individuals, religion, people have the right to self determination, fairness to everybody and i dont believe in one tribe enslaving another tribe and that we should sit back and allow that happen.

Even if you create a party tomorrow, believe me I'll go there. I dont think there'll be a flared force without muscle or courage. I'll also tell you the most important thing is for us to agree and recognize the fact that our country is in a mess now that we have to work across party lines, regional lines, ethnic lines and religious lines to make progress and I'll giv you an example of that.

Major Crisis Averted by Working across Party Lines

A few weeks ago, we almost had a major crises in the country, just that most people didnt know, if they did there are so many envious people not involved in settling the issue. We had a major issue and they had to go to President Buhari for seeing it as it was. Where we had a food embargo on the whole of the south by the northerners. It was a very effective embargo and it wasnt just an embargo, there was also an imposing threat that they were gonna start killing southerners in the North if something wasnt done and it was a very effective threat which the governor was very worried about. What I'm saying is that's a very good example of people working across party lines because we all came together and worked with non politicians like Sunday Igboho, people from the North, people from the south, we came together, gave eachother guarantees, Yahaya Bello left the whole thing and the matter was settled. The embargo was lifted and we achieved something most politicians cannot achieve in their lifetime and I'm very happy and proud about that. So when people talk about us not being friends across party lines that we're all at war with each other, i ask them, did you ever fight them the way i did, you did not, you just sat on the fence and did nothing, we fought them. The point im making is we must work across party lines.

Nigeria can never displace the fulanis, all these ethnic tribes cannot work in Nigeria anymore, not even religious institutions- excerpts of Sheik Gumi's hate filled video broadcast, which was prominently featured in this interview and forced former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode to give a wholesome piece of his mind.

Fani-Kayode slammed the prophecy of the elder Sheik Abubakar Gumi who prophesied that a Christian would never lead Nigeria over his dead body and of course a Christian became head of state just after he died a few years later, further describing those who follow the father and son in Allah's sake as misguided.

"Now i can see that the son has taken the mantle of his father and he's speaking nothing but absolute nonsense. He speaks for a large segment of people in the core north who are misguided and simply dont know any better and i think this is the sort of thing that upsets many of us. Nobody can tell me that its right and proper for him to say that if Pantami is removed that we will regret it. I mean who the hell does he think he is. Who do they think they are? We all own this country and let me put this to him right here on this programme."

According to FFK- who has tirelessly written and even promised not to concentrate on Pantami again, something has to be done about people like Pantami and others or else government will regret it, especially in a situation where they're trying to fulanize and islamize the nation through stealth jihad.

"But since you poked this to me and Gumi has also said what he said, let me tell you that as long as we have people like Pantami in government and those that think like him in government, that government, our people and their people will regret it because there are always consequences to every action. Its just a question of time."

Highlighting ways through which certain elements aspire to fulanize and islamize the country, Fani-Kayode mentions stealth and guile, and assimilation as first tactic to be employed, which involves the use of tachiyya deception.

"You go there, pretend to be a democrat but infact what you're doing is bringing islamic values to modern government and trying to impose your will on everybody also, through stealth and guile,you bring in people like Pantami and others who are known fundamentalists and have a track record of islamic fundamentalism into government, legitimize them as nice guys"

Also noting Pantami's longstanding activities against Christian communities in Bauchi years ago, FFK discussed the case of a father that came out and said Pantami is responsible for killing his son and incidents of him saying things that are deeply insulting to the Christian community in this country.

"When you say you'll lead muslims to march into a Christian community to kill Christians, this is unacceptable to us and for Gumi to say such person is a good man, it troubles me immensely. This same Gumi is a man who negotiates with fulani terrorists all the time. He is the man that tells us it is Christian soldiers that are killing your people and not the muslim"

FFK went as far to state that though nobody wants to publicly align with terrorists but many people still support behind the scenes and thats the dilemma faced by moderate muslims, Christians and non muslims in the country, as we are dealing with a group of people that don't care how you feel and prepared to do anything to stop you.

Observing the contemptous way he spoke about the people of Niger Delta, the south and of the middle belt with utter contempt and arrogance which does not anchor well for national unity, Fani-Kayode analyzes why people like him and their uncouth mouths pose grave danger to the unity of Nigeria.

"If you really want Nigeria to remain together, they better learn to keep their mouths shut and stop insulting southerners, middle belters, Christians, stop provoking us, stop killing us and telling us that you own this country and everyone of us. We cant be slaves, i will never be a slave to anybody, what i mean by that is if you dont stop then you'll see another dimension of this struggle"

FFK's brazen statement can be translated to mean people will exercise their right to self preservation, because enough is enough in this country, or everybody needs to go their seperate ways.

A former Aviation minister and frontline Nigerian politician Chief Femi Fani-Kayode have strongly defended Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s leadership qualities, saying Kanu is prepared to lay down his life for the Biafra agitation to come true.

Fani-Kayode noted that Nnamdi Knau’s leadership qualities endeared him to his followers. A man offered the whole world to give up his struggle and refused deserved more commendation and not just being described in uncharitable terms.

Fani-Kayode was a reaction to a comment by a presenter in a recent interview who described Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as a despotic leader for allow his followers prostrate before him.

The presenter noted that such display is not a trait of democratic leaders but pointed out that he has no problem with Nnamdi Kanu if the people from the SouthEast choose him as their leader.

But in a swift reaction, Chief Fani-Kayode pointed out that character of somebody like Nnamdi Kanu issue you touched, let me tell you that it is for the people of the east/Biafra/S/East to determine who they want as their leader and if they want somebody that's strong-willed like Nnamdi to be their leader, then it's their choice but let me also tell you as you've described him in very uncharitable terms now, I know this man, I've met this man. “I've seen it, that is leadership, that is the strength which they need because they have been subjugated and they've suffered probably more than any other people in this country and he's giving them hope and something to live for which is why they literally worship him in so many ways and I can't take that from them or blame them for that.”

Sunday Igboho similar trait’s to Nnamdi Kanu

Chief Fani-Kayode also praised the self-acclaimed Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho as someone who is has been able to tap into the psyche of the Yoruba Nation.

Fani-Kayode said, “I see the same thing unfolding with somebody like Sunday Igboho in the S/West and I recognize from the start.”

“ This is somebody again that has managed to tap into the psyche of the Yoruba nation, and he's a living manifestation in my view of Oduduwa Republic and Oduduwa himself. Courageous, strong, uncompromised and clear thinking. And prepared to give up everything, probably including his life for the struggle, these are very rare types of people.” He said

“Leaders in the office right now, let me assure you will probably play a very limited role, lets take the Oduduwa Republic, for example, if we have Oduduwa Republic tomorrow, I can assure you those who have resisted it, don't want it, and fought against it or betrayed those who want it will probably have very limited roles.”

“I challenge you like we've been trying to do for many years, you go out into the field and try to vote this doctrine out,get this person out or even get me out. Get in there and try to do it and see what ends up happening.

ON The breakup of Nigeria and Restructuring

Chief Fani-Kayode noted that nothing can be changed politically in the country except Nigerians head all the way.

He said, “See what we have here is a situation you literally cant change the leadership because the two political parties remain basically one and the same. You have individuals that are very good like Seyi Makinde, which is enough but I've mentioned a few governors, Ayade is also good, Umahi, Kogi governor, there are some good ones but the truth of the matter is the reality is that you're not gonna change anything in this country politically unless you go all the way and we're heading for the rocks now cos the system has failed all of us, everybody is scared.”

Fani-Kayode said as Nigerians are worried about the insecurity situation in the country the leaders are equally worried and scared because it is clear the country is heading for the rocks.

“Even those at the pinnacle of power because they can see that we're on a sea that has icebergs waiting to sink our boat and everybody is worried about how we are gonna get through this. Now i don't know whats gonna happen but i can tell you this, i go back to the call for separatism is in vogue now.” He noted.

“The call for an independent nation in the S/West, S/East and parts of S/South is whats in vogue right now or call to break the country. It's to try to make people understand we can still make Nigeria work if things are done right.” He said

Fani-Kayode noted that he would be the first to lead the referendum for a Yoruba nation but was quick to say that if there is no referendum he would gladly support the restructuring of the country.

“We can do that but let me tell you this, my people in the South West say they want to go, ill be the first to say, listen I'm totally in support of that and nobody can take that away from me or from them. But as long as we don't have that referendum, we must join hands with people from other parts of the country to try to create a peaceful issue of a state where people are equal because it is not even the corruption that people are worried about as bad as it is, what people are worried about is subjugation.”

“Now you take a man's land,home, take his wife, take away everything about him, his faith, you strip him bare, shame him publicly,turn him to nothing and you kill his people and you expect people to accept that.”

“That is a fundamental issue we're facing right now in this country and its really happening. And that is what people are resisting, so nobody is talking about politics anymore, it's about survival now, its the central threat that we're facing and excuse me if I have said people by talking in these harsh terms but I'm fed up with political correctness and I believe many of us have been proved right that we're on the wrong course and we need to work together to chart a better course so that we can have peace in our country. And that's what we need to do.”

As I filled out the form waiting to see him I was ushered into the waiting room and for the next 32 minutes I was fixated in prayers, begging God to see me through this meeting. Suddenly the bell rang and the secretary called me and said “the chairman is ready to see you.”

As I walked into his office my heart kept beating and I told my aged mother to continue praying, this was a man that's well known for keeping snakes and exotic animals as pets, it's said he moves around with snakes coiled around his body, he is not only immune to jazz (black magic) but he's the original voodoo gangster and jazz itself. He's rarely seen in public so elusive that he never attends functions, parties, etc, it's difficult to pinpoint who you can call his friend.

As I walked in I saw a young tall dark gentleman who smiled at us and in a very polite polished English accent said "Good morning Mama, please what brings you to my office and what can I do for you? As we sat he told me I shouldn't have stressed my mother to come all the way to his office, at this point I already concluded that our house would be demolished, this was same man that dragged the Oba of Lagos to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Netherlands, when in 2014 the Oba threatened to drown Ibos in the Lagos lagoon.

With a trembling voice we explained to him that our property was marked for demolition for building without approval and we had previously submitted our plan for processing in Enugu South local Government Secretariat since the past two years, even paid all the necessary fees, yet nothing was ever done. This man who was said to be mean, heartless and brutal was filled with rage and to our shock ordered a staff of his agency to proceed to Enugu South and even if it took one week they should personally find our plan.

Then came the second problem, my dad had died the previous year, though my mother struggled to continue building the block of flats. It wasn't easy and the new Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA) rate meant we had to pay additional N350, 000 of which my mother broke down in tears as she couldn't afford it and might have our house demolished. The notice was already published in the newspapers. Suddenly, this man who is said to be brutal, yet in a gentle voice said "Mama don't cry, I'll pay the difference for you.”

He immediately wrote a cheque then asked one of his assistants to rush to the bank and get the money. He quietly told us he had to go downstairs to address Kenyatta market traders who had stormed the premises over shortage of shop allocations. As he walked boldly to meet them with a barrage of security details, this gentleman who is misunderstood walked into heavy applause from the crowd to my shock after cracking jokes with the crowd he simply sat on the floor of the steps and proffering solutions to the traders who were even more amazed at his simplicity.

This is a young man born with all the euphoria of wealth, power, luxury and fame, yet mingling with traders like one of their own. At this point it was clear that this brutal enforcer of compliance was also a Compassionate soul. Soon after he walked back to his office, gave the traders money for transport and they burst out in jubilation. He then handed the sum of N350k and asked us to go and pay into the State IGR account. I broke down in tears, my mother showered blessings on him and in the simplest manner he said I'm just doing my job as I was appointed to serve the people.

In the words of John F. Kennedy, "A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers" I was left in shock, as I returned back to my base in Ibadan I decided to research more about this most misunderstood, elusive and best performing appointee of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration which for many reasons I am not a fan but one will agree that Onoh is the best appointee so far to have headed this ministry since the inception in 2009.

It is therefore discernable that Posterity is what men have powers to influence, only when they apply positive attitude, wisdom, courage and above all humanism devoid of selfish motivation. Humanism in itself is a system or mode of thought or action in which human interests, values and dignity predominate. The illustration is to vividly picture the difficult but courageous application of sanity in mist of stubborn and selfish citizens who derive pleasure in annexing or creating false sense of superiority over others to make the public view them as demigods in the society. It is with such a sense of false superiority that violators of public assets operate and make them believe they could always have their ways and get away with impunity against the general interest. That is why such ‘cowards’ would know that his similar character wrongly conveyed a public space to him and he would still go ahead to convert such space to a private residence.

It was such malfeasance that brought about the famed Malam Nasiru El-Rufai administration of the Federal Capital Territory Development Authority in Abuja. El-Rufia was called names for insisting on the application of the Abuja Master plan. The demigods who thought they were overlords and violated the city plan were brought under control and that record saved Abuja from degeneration to a slum city. In a way, the present Chairman of Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA) Dr. Josef Onoh could be nicknamed the El-Rufai of Enugu and it will suit an exact comparison, given the similarities in their methods of operation. Whereas El-Rufai dared the feudal lords in Abuja, Onoh has exhibited such fearless and courageous trait in ensuring that lawbreakers don’t have their ways in their impudence violation of Enugu master plan. This is one appointment I give Governor Ugwuanyi 100 percent for making the right choice even though I'm not his fan. It’s not just that Onoh is courageous to control impunity but credit should be given to the man saddled with the responsibility of enforcing compliance on a metro city of 795,000 population.

Onoh is a firebrand redeemer after destruction. Taking the Enugu rebuild project after #EndSARS protests as an example, Onoh has brought durability, esthetics and service to the rebuild of utilities such as the metropolitan brick-made bus shelters. It takes the eagle eye of a humanist to conjure that following the violent trends of youths, durable and purposeful infrastructures are required in complementary to the transport service.

In the same manner, the new service lane of Okpara Avenue by Ebeano Tunnel Crossing junction has eased traffic congestion in that area. Even in this service production, the innate human impunity traits has persisted with reckless civil disobedience to simple traffic rules. The commercial transport operators are more in number in this aspect, yet when the full wealth of law is applied, the habitual lawbreakers will complain of high handedness.

The senior complainants are found building against water ways, obstructing thoroughfare and endangering ecology and human traffic. These categories of complainants convert low density areas to high densities and expect the town planning control authority to turn blind eyes to their impunity. Onoh however said it’s wrong. In most cases he has run into confrontation with the offenders. There is no doubt that Onoh keeps his eyes on the ball and dam whose ox is gored.

In his effort to retrieve the city from hawkers who hijacked the streets and turned them into market places, Onoh initiated the gauze barricades after several attempts to make them leave the pedestrian and motorways. It’s amazing to note that hawkers would ever vacate the popular IMT bus stop, but it’s the gauze that made the magic that decency has restored to the environment and ornamentation planted to enhance the beauty of the famous IMT bus stop.

Talking about the magic of wire gauze brings to reflection the nuisances previously constituted in the Dahmija area of Trans-Ekulu and the obstruction of Kenyatta market in Uwani. The Trans-Ekulu disobedience was such impunity that the area was avoided because of the traffic congestion that was constituted by the street traders. Onoh’s coming controlled the surge of the shop operators and rearranged traffic flow. The Trans-Ekulu menace was such that residents contravened the layout master plan and blocked streets at their comfort. Onoh moved in and cleared the illegal blockades and created traffic diversions that made the area come back alive with the gauze barricade.

The Kenyatta gauzing made a tremendous impact before the traders finally moved to the permanent site of the building materials market at Ugwuaji. With the division of the Kenyatta road into two equal halves, fortified with gauzing of the street, traffic flow resumed in Kenyatta until the evacuation of traders to their more spacious permanent site. The relocation of the Kenyatta market to its permanent site is as good as agreeing Onoh made the impossible possible, a feat that previous administrations failed to achieve since 2003.

Sometimes memories are short that one has forgotten the unbefitting black lion branding of Enugu government house which Onoh changed into a magnificent gentle white lion. He also reduced the Otigba roundabout that it's previously enlarged size became a traffic albatross in the city center and followed it up with an increase to three of the Otigba drummers. Subsequently he reduced the Parklane hospital roundabout to a passable size. Lest we forget, traffic jam has since disappeared from the Nike lake road Timber market after the nuisance obstruction was sanitized. Same story is still being told on the Holy Ghost congestion which the barrier mesh divides helped to contain the traffic menace.

The focus of this x-ray is to underscore the fact that men have the capacity to change, not only the environment, but the direction and worldview of their fellows in order to harness ultimate benefit for society. Taking for instance the development of a bypass in-between the dual carriage roads of new haven by Mbanefo Street besides Carmelite hospital was a typical case of creativity and relief to the residents.

What landmark should be mentioned and the other forgotten? The November 28 1983 Emene plane crash has remained indelible in the minds of those who lost their beloved ones which included the Onohs. As the revival of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport continues, Dr. Onoh deemed it necessary that the wreckage of the Fokker F-28 aircraft should be exhumed to immortalize the victims of the ill-fated plane crash. The wreckage now stationed at the entrance of the airport has become a Mecca of sorts and perhaps one of the greatest monuments of the coal city that now keeps sad history alive.

As if Onoh has special attachment to the Enugu airport, he ensured that the Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority keyed into the international airport rehabilitation, removing obstructing slums and market in and around the vicinity of the airport, an exercise that redeemed confidence of aviation operators in use of the Akanu Ibiam airport. In the process Onoh had a faceoff with J.J Emejulu who went and demolished a part of the airport perimeter fence.

In summary, posterity beacons on a leader whose eyes are the ball of progress, decency, rule of law and who by all standard seeks a just society for the rich and the poor, the low and the upper class and who considers society over self. That man is Dr. Josef Onoh whose family background and inheritance is to fight for the common good of the society. I'm sure Onoh will be appreciated much more like El-Rufai years after he leaves office. As he's fondly referred to: DENGE Agbor, Okaa Omee Ngwo, Babamiliki, Ani-nefungwu, Demolition Man. One thing remains certain, history will be kind to him.

Precious Chikwendu did the voiceover on the video she gave to Sahara reporters and Punch in 2021. The video itself was taken in 2018. There was no assault and ni threat. She did the voice over in 2021 and released it in order to implicate FFK and to tarnish his image. She also paid other staff to lie on him. She approached 12 members of his ex staff to also lie on him in return for money and they all refused. The gentleman in this video, Gbenga his former P.A has refuted the allegation that he was ever threatened or assaulted but has said it was rather Precious that threatened his life on several occassions and terrorised the staff.
