why are you so in a haste to criticize like this. Do you want to compare your math teacher with God or the this of God. that is why many of us not understand God. An accountant or an economist, will tell you the way to have more money is to save more money, but God tell us that the best way to have more is to give more money. You see it is the things of God. it may not make sense to you, but just believe You math teacher can't prove to you that 1+4=16, but God can. And please don't compare your math teacher with God.

There are always different interpretations and perspectives on what the holy books say. Non-belivers agree on what the bible and other holy books say but it's usually believers who seem to have some interpretation and perspective. Why is this?

The reason can be found in 1cor 1vs21, For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not very God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. You cannot understand God or the Bible with the wisdom of this world. So reading the Bible is different from reading a Sherlock Holmes novels. understanding God or the Bible is just by believing. it may not make sense, just believe.

Well, I think you have a call, but you'll need to give your life to Christ, attend a bible institute, get involved in your church; join a service group, then listen more to the calling as these would prepare you for the task ahead.

please give the guy reasonable answer. must he be a pastor and work. Take a look at those pastors that work and do the work of a pastor, did they really attained the height of those that do the work of God squarely without. Pastor Adeboye, Bishop oyedepo, and the dunamis man comes to mind. OP, i can assure you can never work for God, and suffer. I am presently regretting why haven't I take God serious before now. I have take serving God serious recently, and God have been surprise me. it is just too much. so if God call you, all those things you listed should be of no concern.

hello, nairalander, good morning. we thank God for the gift of life. And I pray God will meet everyone of us at the point of our needs in Jesus name. I want us to start a Bible study here in nl. I was thinking that I could find daily Bible study in the Christian chat box, but all I could find is some body selling his Facebook page in the Christian section. so, I don't know if there could be any means we can start something. a Bible study or anything. there are millions people reading through nl every day, so I believe we can really inspire and touch live for Christ. so kindly drop any idea and suggestions. thanks and God bless

If you believe that He is the son of God, and He came and die for your sins and the sins of the world, and He has rose from the death, and through Him rising from the death, you are risen to a new life, God's life, then you are a Christian

there is no how we prove we love God, when we don't preach the gospel of Christ. in 1John 4vs9, the Bible says, in this was the manifested the love of God to-ward us; because that God sent his only begotten son into the world, that we might live through him. So, God prove His love to us by giving us the Lord Jesus Christ. And in verse 15 of that 1John 4, whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God. And the Bible says, that God is love. so if God prove His love to us by giving us Christ, we should also prove our love to Him by confess Christ publicly. How can you say you love God, when the very people God sent the Lord Jesus Christ to save are perishing, and you can do something. God don't want any thing from you. the only thing He ask you to do for Him, is to preach the gospel of Christ to the dying world. this is the only way you can show that you love God with all your heart, all your might and with all your soul.

In John 10:34, the Bible says, Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods? verse 35, if he called them God's, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; verse 36, say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the son of God? If God can refer to we ordinary people that we are god, how much more the son of God. read the Bible with a open mind

Am finding it hard to choose between this two right now. I work as a civil servant, but I really want to work for God. I want to be actively involve in evangelism. This passion for lost soul is so intense in me, that I feel like resigning from work. How do you balance it? My boss is a pastor, and he keep having problem with me that I must be at work, but my mind is no longer at work.
