TV/MoviesRe: Gulder Ultimate Search 4 (IV)! by denex: 9:21pm On Jul 26, 2007
@daslick007

why did you get there late? I know the thing is a scam but if at all you want to go, be there at the right time. This Nigeria sef is finished!

@sukiyaki

you too cannot boast of reaching the venue before time. I'm disappointed!

@Attraction

very muscular people usually cannot swim because muscle is dense and cannot float. It is Slim and Fat people that swim best.

@menix

God bless you for waiting to see all that. This is what I see everytime I'm auditing models for music videos.

As for the Ultimate Search itself, almost all the reality TV Shows you see worldwide have levels of pre-arrangement. Do you think Katung of BBN just went to buy the Big Brother form?

To avoid chaos, they use their own people.

While some maga are undergoing screening, the real contestants are already undergoing training in speech, reality acting, on-camera behaviour and script delivery. Oh, una no know say script dey? One of my good friends does that job. She's a scriptwriter for reality shows,

@luckyflair

you cannot become a member of the house. Its a bush. You become a member of the bush.

@Topic

during Gulder Ultimate Search 3, I was given the opportunity to bring in someone that would contest. A lady who was smart, pretty, very fluent in English, sociable and very physically fit.

The only person I suggested could not swim very well and did not like the idea of drowning or dying on National TV.

I'm sorry I didn't discourage y'all from the beginning. You wouldn't have believed me. Besides, there's a new Benin proverb that says "Who no go no know" so welcome to the real world. 95% of all reality shows worldwide are stage-managed to a large extent. It is not a Nigerian issue.

@Sweet T

please continue to fervently pursue those Nigerians over their condemning us to this level.

In fact, if there are two equally dangerous criminals, leave the other one and pursue the Nigerian. If that will be your own contribution to helping Nigeria's image, it is enough.

PoliticsRe: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by denex: 8:58pm On Jul 26, 2007
I am gradually beginning to realise that most of the fraud perpetuated by Nigerians are carried out by Nigerian abroad. The same Nigerians that come here to say that Nigeria is bad.

Sweet T has even been privy to security records and testifies that these criminals boku for US.

I believe a step that should be taken by Nigerians to stem this is to send a picture and information about any know family member or friend living in the US to the authorities for proper investigation.
BusinessRe: PHCN Pay As You Go by denex: 8:08pm On Jul 26, 2007
The new prepaid meters are far cheaper than the previous ones.

The basic charge is about the same rate: N6 per kWh. But you don't pay anything extra if you don't use the power. No meter maintenance fee, no fixed charge, no disconnection or reconnection fees, no estimated bills.

I've been using one of those meters for 2 months now and I still haven't consumed up to 5 thousand Naira.

Oprah is not Zulu, her tests and all research shows she's related to the pigmies but she vex reject am come choose tribe by herself. All in all though, Oprah generally does not like African Americans talkless of Africans.
PoliticsRe: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by denex: 7:15pm On Jul 26, 2007
Oprah's brain is loose. After all the plastic surgery, they've pulled the skin on her head so tight that she can't think straight anymore. She's mad.

I've noticed that she doesn't even like African Americans with culture. She prefers the white wannabes: The Tiger Woods and Will Smiths. She never wants to be seen with the ice-cubes. So I knew it wouldn't take long before she completely bestialised Africans.

PoliticsRe: Dangote, Others Pull Out Of Kaduna, P-harcourt Refineries' Deal. by denex: 6:27pm On Jul 26, 2007
SALE OF NPHRC AND KPRC

"The Bluestar Consortium comprising foremost industrialists and entrepreneurs in the country pulled resources together to bid for the refineries in a transparent bid process. In full view of the public and television cameras, Bluestar Consortium was declared the preferred bidder. Our decision to age was driven by a sense of Nationalism and Patriotic instinct to save our downstream oil sector before it is completely destroyed.

*The consortium's bids of $561 million for 51% of NPHRC and $160 million for 51% of the KPRC were adjudged to have met and even in the case of the NPHRC, exceeded the reserved prices of the refineries. The bid process was televised live on the NTA and was considered fair and transparent by all.

*Bluestar's interest in the refineries was premised on the fact that private sector participation would assure efficiency and effectiveness therefore performing better than the current public sector led management. However, the current campaign led by the organized labour and NNPC that it can run the refineries more efficiently contrary to the published data that shows an average of 35% capacity utilization over the period 1997-2005 suggests that governments decision to involve the private sector in the ownership and management of the refineries was ill-advised.

*Our intention was to rehabilitate the refineries, run them to world standards and sell the shares to the public to make Nigerians proud owners of the assets. We feel from the criticism and outright misinformation of our intention, that our consortium is not appreciated. We feel very discourage by the outcry against the sale.

*Given the events since the privatization and the continued villification of the consortium by NNPC, the Consortium hereby conditionally vacates its interest in the refineries for 12 months effective 18th of July 2007 to enable NNPC deliver its commitment on the following:

-Operate the0refineries at full capacity with minimum 90% capacity utilization without government funding.
-Eliminate importation of petroleum products.

*To us at Bluestar Consortium, it is our dream to see the refineries function efficiently and petroleum products made available at affordable prices. It is this desire that motivated our consortium in the first place. We therefore withdraw our interest in the refineries for NNPC to deliver on the above commitment."

Summary of the Dangote withdrawal statement.

PoliticsRe: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by denex: 4:56pm On Jul 26, 2007
Shebi it is this numb-brained Nigerians. They will say Hausas are oppressive, they will say Ibos are Greedy, they will say Yorubas are deceptive. They don't know that foreigners will just say Nigerians are oppressive, greedy and deceptive.

Then the Nigerians abroad will support these statements and say "Oh it's the Nigerians in Nigeria". They don't know that they're included.

Then the African Americans are now saying Africans are backward, primitive, corrupt and violent. They don't know that to others they are actually just saying that all people of African descent are an abomination on this earth.

Because once the ocean is dirty, the river sourced from it is dirty.

As Oprah Winfrey is talking nonsense, she doesn't know that some sociologist somewhere is using her data as proof of his theory that there is something fundamentally wrong with BLACK People.

PoliticsRe: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by denex: 2:44pm On Jul 26, 2007
It wouldn't have been okay. It would have still been criminally bias. Oprah lives in the US and she sees all the ills going on there.

Crimes all over the world. Why Nigeria? Is there no war in Iraq? I see no much talk about it. What about the level of violence in South Africa.

Should she continue demeaning fellow African Americans that don't subscribe to her white wannabe lifestyle?

And people like MILITIA are smiling. They don't know that this recent comment is aimed at them.
