Some are saying that the spare parts are worth $1 billion. Let them go and collect their spare parts and sell to recoup the $1 billion. Bluestar is not in the market to buy spare parts, they are in the market to buy a refinery.

Senators are complaining that there is already some crude oil at the Port Harcourt refinery worth $800 million. Let them go and carry the crude oil and sell. Bluestar is not pricing crude oil. They are there to buy a refinery.

I wonder how somebody will open their mouth to lie that there are 13 million barrels of crude currently in the Port Harcourt Refinery. In fact, if it is there, they should go and remove it and sell to get the $800 million into the Federal Account.

Well, while we have been very happy that the Federal Government has done away with about $30 billion of it Paris Club debt, and recently it is believed that the London Club debt has been paid off, it is just a little too early to be celebrating our debt freedom just yet.

There's currently $3 billion owed to non-Paris Club, non-London Club creditors, there's also the $13 billion owed to organizations within Nigeria.

It's either the debts are being paid or they are left alone. Any partial debt payment could result in another build up in which the approximate $3.3 billion bilateral and multilateral debts could become $30 billion in the future.

Now this debt we keep considering is just the Federal debt. What about the state debt? With an average state debt of $300 million (N40 billion) multiplied by about 36 states, that's another $10 billion.

So total government debt is approximately $26 billion; counting local government debts as negligible. So what is all this story about a debt free nation? If the truth is not told about the problems we face, how can we solve them?

Where is the debt freedom?

I think Clinton and Obama would have to stick together to get a sure win.

Anyway, it's all good, but the thing is, I believe with the State of the USA and the former USSR, I believe anybody who would have been their presidents must have felt like God. But someone like Bill Clinton still tried to keep cool like someone as Mikhail Gorbachev managed to keep cool. It is not an easy task.

Just like the Western Europeans used Africans to develop their economy, the South Africans too used the Europeans to develope their economy.

I'm beginning to suspect that what we need in Nigeria is to send MEND to Europe to kidnap some "whitey" so we can use them to develope the Nigerian economy. I'm thinking of proposing it to the Federal Government.

The problem with this Presidency thing is the misunderstanding of its meaning. If somebody was elected to PRESIDE over issues of a country, he is just a regulator of the people who take action.

If you ever took time to watch the Senate President Ken Nnamani during Senate Precedings, you will begin to understand what a President's duty should be. (I am by no means using this medium to extol the man Nnamani)

A president is nothing more than a referee and a representative figure and voice that ensures everybody plays by the rules and represents the country when its presence is needed or its voice required.

No president should declare war on engage in any "action" except after he has presided over a debate of the people in which they demand that action.

I meant a new president coming to tackle the problems of Zimbabwe. Robert Mugabe is no more the President O! He has become a Royal Father.

I was giving that example with the hope that Mugabe will be no more in the nearest future. Sorry for over-expressing my hope.

What most Of you still do not know is that there is not supposed to be an action president in the USA. A president is a regulator, a kind of referee or moderator. He should swing into action when something is wrong but most times, just PRESIDE over things.

It is only a football match that is very abnormal that the referee would have much action to take. So it is countries like Zimbabwe and Western Sahara that should have action Presidents not the US, China and Russia.

Have you noticed Ghadaffi is attaching a condition to his USA? He wants to be made its ruler. Who the hell is going to make Ghadaffi the Life Emperor of Africa?

He knows he doesn't need any USA right now that's why he is demanding an impossible condition. He has made his peace with his enemies and does not need to hide under an African cloak anymore. All he's putting up right now is just a facade.

that is why Bluestar is telling them that they should take the next one year off, acquire as much "free hand" as they would need, use up all the magnificent spare parts they have and let's see if they can make the refineries function at optimum capacity.

Only the engine oil needed to lubricate those refineries back to life will cost Bluestar up to $3 million.
