bekayy: This ACCA people are talking about as a 2nd degree. Does one have to write all the 13 papers or just a stage to be assessed as a second degree coz ACCA is tough. I keep wondering what stage people are writing to say it's easy. Thanks. its the foundational courses ... 3 papers F1-F3 |

Good morning guys, please I really need y’alls advice. I’m about to start out on my canadian journey but given the present status of things, my score is at 430 -440 and I think that’s low compared to what’s obtainable now. My plan is to get an additional degree, study hard for d highest band in ielts and my score will be at 470 but that’d be a year from now as I intend to do a pgd...
My question is, should I just go ahead and enter d pool now and hope for a provincial nomination as an administrative assistant
Can my husband and I open two separate EE profiles hoping for provincial nomination on either of them. He’s an Engineer.
Or should we just wait till next year when scores will be higher. Please please advice . Thank you |

Abuja2canada: I just want to encourage anyone here who feels downcast and stuck, please don't lose hope , all these challenges are part of what makes the testimony/story interesting and it will definitely end in praise soon..
I also want to advice don't sit back and relax and blame it on covid-19.. Within this covid19 I have seen people birth the Canadian dream, completed various courses to get their two or more certificate , started preparing for ielts, done their wes..its all about determination and information , be ready to take the risk...
I remember telling the story of how I judged an organization based on what I saw everywhere and felt God forbid I can't use them,I even joined to bad mouth them everywhere I saw their name without giving it a try personally.. I finally took the risk and it worked for me and I started preaching the RIGHT PROCESS to people, some people insulted me, some felt perhaps am a staff that's why am promoting it but those who keyed in are testifying already, nothing less than 10 people have benefited in about a week and many more are loading,i have seen people stuck at this particular stage for months yet we did it in 3/7days..the joy and pride I feel that i am able to save people's resources and time at such a period as this is immeasurable.
If you see or have opportunities/information that people can benefit from please share, don't keep it to yourself and let others waste time and money. The information we are all dwelling on was discovered by people and it's that way because they shared it.. That's why when people ask can I evaluate this certificate I say go and try and use it, it won't cost much, if it works for you come and tell us let's add it to the various options we have discovered, no man is an island on this journey..
May God make our dreams and aspiration come tru....more testimonies from ETX-NG Please can you help with courses I can do this period that will makeup for two or more certificates for me? I was going to do a pgd but now everything is on hold thanks to covid. And time is really of the essence Cos of age. Thank you |

pweedieolamide: Good day to everyone on this great platform. There's an issue bothering me. I'm married but i opened an account with Wes for my credential evaluation with my maiden name because thats the name on my certificates.I intend to write Ielts exam with the same maiden name.My passport which will be expiring this november carries my maiden name and i intend entering the pool before it expires in november. My question is should i enter the pool with my maiden name, since my passport carries the same name, then i indicate somewhere in my application that am married or my husband's name since i'll be renewing my passport very soon.
I dont even know how i'll put this my question but i hope someone understand me enough to answer me.Thanks Why not renew ur passport with ur maiden name so u’d save urself the stress. Indicate that you’re married in your application and be ready to show proof like newspaper change of name, marriage certificate etc |

Anon123: 1) Why go for paper route wen you can use the online, not saying paper route is bad but online is better and saves you the risk of carrying paper and misplacing essential docs important to you. My 2kobo, online is better cos it gives you the opportunity to monitor your application progress.
2) Yes 20m or more is fine. You can use a FD of 4months and your spouse can be a co-sponsor meaning he or she can include their own POF.. u dont need to move money to an account.
3) it's advisable to go first and den later apply for your family.. your employment later can't serve as a strong home tie but your property or other family members can stand as one
4) deed of ownership Thanks a lot!!!! |

Dennyjuff: Hello house, please I need your help for some questions I have . Thanks for the continuation of this thread, I’ve been looking for it. -plZ does anyone have a link where I can get information on how to go about paper route application? Are we to submit passports or wait for it to be requested. -Also, if a masters degree tuition in a school for two years is about $15k CAD will POF of 20M suffice ? -I’ve read on this thread that FD and treasury bills are acceptable POF .. is a FD of 4 months okay? -when applying for study visa, Can I also add my spouse’s statement of account or its better to move everything to one account -I’ve read on this thread that it is advisable for a student who has a family to go first, use them as strong family ties and apply for them on getting there. If I want to apply for my whole family, wife and two kids ... will my employment in an oil and gas industry suffice as strong ties? . - my wife’s mum also has lands worth lots of millions ..is there a way to prove that she’s the custodian of those lands and therefore has to be back to the country. (Strong ties)
Thanks a lot people. God bless you Someone please help with a response |

Fkj202004: A typical NOUN masters program runs for a year and six months, that is 3 semesters. But you can do it for a year if you can carry heavy workloads for 2 semesters. NOUN certificates in all study centres are the same and they are prepared in Abuja Headquarters. NOUN is accredited by NUC and every course have been accredited too. thanks A lot!!! |

My POE experience yesterday.. in my visa application, I stated I’d be going to Virginia for my delivery I got the visa. But I changed my hospital, doc and state due to some reasons. Everyone was worried it may be an issue at POE. So I arrived Atlanta yesterday. There was a long ass queue. I signaled to one of the airport officials (a lady) that I couldn’t stay on the queue Cos I’m heavy. She spoke to one of the guys and they directed me to go do my scan. CBP official : how are you doing ma’am Me : very fine Him : are you here on vacation Me : no I’m here to have my baby Him : how long would you be staying Me : 3-4 months Him : did you come alone Me : yes Him : who would you be staying with Me : my aunt Him : a green card holder or US citizen Me : a green card holder Him : can I have the address Me : gave it to him Him : have u had a baby here before Me : no it’s my first time Him : how much do u hv on u Me : 10k Him : is it 10k on the dot or more Cos if it’s more u’d hv to declare it Me : I said no 10k on the dot. Him : do you have foodstuff if yes what are they Me : noodles, fish, beverages etc etc Him : says ok and stamps me in for 6 months... and says I should use a wheelchair next time so I don’t hurt myself .
All these took like 5mins .. he was so nice.. I started to wonder if this is d Poe everyone was talking about. Lol I proceeded to my flight to Houston. |

didismyname: Ok in the spirit of giving back. I will like to share my story. I recently renewed my visa.
2016 got a B1/B2 Visa for my family. We had our vacation June 2016 and stayed for a month. 2017, I got pregnant and I did the change of intent. Had my baby Dec 2017 and got back April 2018. Did dropbox Feb 2019 and I got the almighty 221G letter after 8days.
Scheduling a follow-up interview was tasking but by end of March I checked my status and the whole of April was available. I picked end of April to give me ample time to prepare for the interview. My hospital bill for birthing was about $9250 excluding lab. Got all my zero receipts and kept reading this thread on nairaland. On the D-Day. I set out with all my documents even carried my LO blue passport as I saw on this thread with her BC. Infact I was more than ready, had my itemized bill, zero receipts, 6month payslips, statement of account, letter of introduction from my office...my people I even carried my recent promotion and recommendation letter Guess what? absolute nothing was asked other than my receipts, itemized bill. In my opinion, I think is the confidence that one exudes during interview goes a long way, be sincere and look them in the eye. Try not to stutter. I mean everyone on my queue during my interview time was not given a visa, I was scared but I told myself that I will give my best smile and be as confident as I can. Visa was granted. Grateful to God. Hello please could you help me with the hospital you used? And what state? Thank you. |

Hello everyone, and mothers hoping to get their visa.. I got mine less than a week ago and I felt I should come back here to tell my success story and encourage someone because this thread really helped me a lot. I’ve been to US twice, and my husband thrice but this time we wanted medical visa for me, and normal B1/B2 visa for him.. I was on NL almost everyday reading about other people’s experience. So this is how my interview went
Vo : good morning Us : good morning Vo : why do you want to go to the US My husband : me for vacation Me : for me, we want to have our baby there Vo : oh really wen is the baby due.. me : xxxx date Vo : when do you intend traveling Me : xxxx date Vo : what do u do Me : I’m a blah blah blah Vo : turns to husband where do U work Him : xxxx Vo : tell me about what you do for them Him : xxxxxxxxxxxx VO was just listening and nodding Vo : So u earn xxxx amount monthly ? Husband : yes Vo to me : have you made any payment to any doctor in the US? Me : no I haven’t Vo : do you have your doctor’s correspondence Me : yes I do... I gave him the correspondence, my letter of appointment and my hospital bill. Vo : scrolls through them and asks do you have a budget sheet for all your expenses? Me : hands them over Vo : do you have your bank statements? Husband : hands them over (statement for dorm account and for naira account) Vo: where did this amount come from (referring to a bulk payment in the dorm account) Husband : whenever I get my inflow, I use it for xxxxx so I just got the value back and converted them to USD and put it back there. Vo : *checks for inflow and nods* Vo : do you have other children Husband : yes a cute boy .. our first child Vo : has any of you been denied visa to any country lately Husband : yes I was denied my Canadian visa some days after I applied for my US visa so I cudnt indicate it in my application at the time Vo : tell me about why u were denied Husband : they said I don’t have enough strong ties and that’s funny to me because my wife and kid is here and I’ve travelled to other countries and I always come back as at when did I don’t know why they’d think I’m not coming back.. but I reapplied 3 days after Vo : *goes ahead to type plenty plenty things* Vo : okay. I wish you good luck in your travels *tears some small pink paper and says we should proceed to pay the reciprocity fee* And then he says let me give you a word of advice Don’t go to any hospital that would offer you discounts because they say you’re self pay it will come back to haunt you in the future. And next time when you’re applying, you will be asked for your receipts.. also, when travelling , go with all these documents you provided here .. you may need them at the point of entry. We said okay.. thank you so much and proceeded to pay —- I wish everyone Goodluck.. and thanks to this thread, I went prepared knowing the documents they’d ask for. And of course Gods grace had a huge part to play. |
