Cats are maligned and hated in our most part of the country, with the exuse that they are witch or witches uses them for operations and as a result these beautiful feline has become endagered. At the sight of a cat in some cities in Nigeria people will start screaming 'killam, killam' and the way the crowd will chase this animal, one would think they are chasing a thief or someone who have done a serious wrong. How this savagery towards cats got into the minds of our people is incomprehensible. Though Cats sometimes displays some unearthly traits but that is its nature. Here are few reasons why you should love cats: (1). Cats are not dirty, cat will not give you stress in cleaning up, it preen itself regularly, you rarely see its poo around. (2). No other animal is welcome in the house. The cat is a jealous animal it wouldn't stand the sight of any other creature be it rats, snake, toads or chicken in the same house, conversely, with a cat around, you are safe from rats and other dangerous animals. (3). Cats do not eat much. You needn't stress yourself much when it comes to feeding cats, unlike dogs, they don't need you to survive, they can take care of theirselves. Sometimes, before you wake up in the morning, a cat has gone out and come back with a full stomach so, dont fret over feeding it. (4). Cats are beautiful. So, get rid of the silly superstitous belief and own that fluffy pet.
