Onaolamipo: I do recite it everyday. And I ve been seen d reward. If u recite it everyday,Allah will protect u from d evil deed of ur enemy and lead u 2 d right way.The prophet did not ask us to recite suratul kahf everyday. What you can do everyday is to start reciting from baqarah or could be from nas and read on everyday. I mean to continue from where you stopped the previous day. This way, you'd get the blessings for reciting the whole of the qur'an by the time you finish it. Do it like it is done in Ramadan when you dont single out a surah to be recited. There are however recommended daily ones, like suratul Mulk before you sleep and others. |
kemiola89: Does it matter if one recite the Arabic or the English translation? Most times i read the English translation out of laziness. For the purpose of the every friday recitation, reciting the arabic text is the best. Even better than the transliteration. But if you read in English for understanding, you'd get the reward for that as well. Wa Allahu a'lam. |
You should think of the health impacts of those things. They dont only affect the woman but the children she gives birth to. Women are expected to be more careful of the life they live as it can have grave consequences on their children, if bad. Smoking increases the risk of miscarriages, for example. |
Royal Roy: Ahhhhh....deols...now I am hungry!!Go and eat jorhhhh Good for your body!!! |
yellowpawpaw: Lv most of ur posts. U hv strong xter and warm heat(from ur posts)Thank you thank you!! I feel soo welcome. And I wont ask of the med skl part. It can be stressful sometimes. There was a time I thought I wldnt make it. I actually had Nl as a fine place to laugh it off. Hence my love for NL. These days, I take things slow and try to enjoy every bit of the learning process. It now helps. Many think my head should be buried some where studying all d time. It doesnt just work that way with me. |
While working on my research, I needed so many references. Eventually, I found them all lined up in wikipedia after typing the right keyword. Of course, all of those could not have been on the first page but were very useful. |

So... I am deols.. It is from my second name, Adeola. The s is either a mistake by a qwerty board turning the a to an s..or d S, that is my surname 20somfn yr old in my 7th and final yr of med skl. I am an Ibadan girl. I had called myself the typical local girl but the friend I said it to had said nahhhh... I just love everything that defines me and Ibadan is one of those. I love Amala too. I actually looove food. I dont hide this from anyone. I know where the good restaurants are everywhere I find myself and you can trust my recommendations ![]() My family comes first and we are close nit and religious people(Muslims). My convictions about Islam are personal. I like to have fun. So I do everything I can possibly afford to so far the religious line isn't crossed. Everly single but just living my life. I actually am skeptical of not being so independent.I will marry anyway ![]() My parents have allowed me a lot and I experienced life in my very own ways. Every member of my family is aware of my nairaland life. They know my username. But who else do I expose my mistake ridden other life to beyond them? I could care less what anyone else thinks. I choose my friends and they sometimes choose me. I dont have too many Real friends even though I relate well with any and every person around me. I am a very confident and outspoken person(in professional settings)..and shy relating on a one on one basis. But I could go on and on with my own people. ![]() Very sensitive to people's plights(children especially) I hate bullies in whatever form ![]() I cry sometimes ![]() I believe in a better Nigeria ![]() Sorry for the long post ![]()

Sissie: Khadijah was the ONLY wife of the prophet during her lifetime. When I read that part of his post, I thought, seriously? He needs to go and read the seerah of the wives of the prophet. |
joker5180: she wil be rejected what allah has permitted, however she can if the man is believed to be unable to be fair in polygamous setting. women be careful dnt get urselves in to trouble, find something to use as excuse but not polygamyWhat do u mean. It is her choice to decide whether to marry a man or not. Umm Salama, when approached by the prophet, turned him down because she said she couldnt deal with polygyny. The prophet prayed to Allah on that b4 she married him And that is a mother of the believers. Not 'sinners' like us. So, a woman can turn a man down on the grounds of polygyny. #FACT |
joker5180: she doesnt need to ask, islam permit it so it is always a possibilityThat is your opinion. Nothing more but your opinion. And your opinion doesnt hold water here. |
SimonAndal: _Anyone who dies as an unbeliever is going to hell. They may not roast like corn but will feel the fire forever. Believe! |

Cuteclem: is time for us to protest against ASUU (asx hole) to me fg Don try small let ASUU try small by suspend strike make I finish this semester a good strike should not start in the middle of a semester it should start from jenuary till December with no work no pay..and here is a Nigerian student. Has anyone read any article or a reasonable argument about the strike from a Nigerian student affected by this strike? The educational system like others such as health are in a mess. ASUU is fighting for the rights of these students and majority of them just want to graduate. What is the essence of the certificate when you end up below par in comparison with your mates from other countries. A student who made scholar at Unilorin had lamented at how much he realised he did not know after he went for his masters abroad. People who were not 'scholars' from other countries were so much ahead of him. It is better all and sundry- parents, students, market women, etc join at this. We will never grow if the problem at the Universities is the lecturers' and that of the health system, the doctors'. Eventually, we, the masses, suffer the repercussion more. #justmy2koboo God Bless Nigeria. |
fulanigirl: Took the words straight out my mouthThis is your first time here. You are welcome ![]() |
Slaak: true! Buh still, i can perceive sm amounts of OWU there lolInstead of facing the issue? How can I be jealous when I am not even married yet? Fact is, the woman that wants to share my husband with me must really have LIVER. Eh eh!! Some people no dey fear sha. ![]() |
The basic education of the ability to read, write and reason is what anyone needs. The others are subject to your profession. At this jet age, whatever else info you need is right on your palms. Football is some form of education too ![]() |
