@Showietee, I still want you to prove it. I am highly interested.

Sissie: What type of hijab do you wear? Do you wear the niqab that makes your family think your going extreme. Apart from the hijab do you have other problems with the person in question? Many Muslims have problems with the hijab, have you tried talking to him telling him Islam position on it and how it's better, there are Muslims in UK who wear the hijab.
when it comes to marriage, having a problem with something like the hijab is a big deal.

tomorrow, he might have a problem with her salaat and so on.

I once read a book(like a story book) where the lady got married to the liberal Muslim. before you know it, he was having a problem with her fasting. she lost a child and he blamed it on her being religious.

That eventually led to divorce.

There is another sister who married the 'big boy'. she started to wear a smaller hijab for him. First year of marriage and issues skyrocketed.

A lifetime issue like marriage requires that no one is being forced to become whom they never were.

onegig: Thought i was the only one that felt that post was uncalled for and way off...

There are other subtle ways of disagreeing with what other people say or do. That was a bit confrontational.

@deols ...whats with you and the obsession with all these "so called alfas"? grin
and the one you quoted is not confrontational?

Obsession is not in my world.

Hallie27: I think I am in trouble. My family wants me to marry a man. He is a muslim and his family also, but he dislikes hijab, and prefers the very short ones on smart skirts and pant trousers. I think living in UK for a long time is also a determining factor for his preferences, and he's also like if I want to live and work in uk With him,my mode of dressing won't be allowed over there. Subhanallah,I can't dress that way,I love my hijab,I love the way I cover myself, and I want to have mu'mins and mu'minahs as children mashaa Allah, but my family feels am being 'excessive' in practising my islam. If I had someone that's ready for nikkah, quite 'presentable' as they wish,I would have being able to refuse easily, but now,I don't,and if I take anyone home that does not meet their level of 'presentability' or 'status',he won't be accepted. I want someone that will encourage me in the deen, preserve my hijab for me,work with me to train my children in the pathof Allah, and take me with him to jannah mashaa Allah, but now I don't know what to do. Should I reject outrightly and incur the wrath of my family, damning the concequences?
I have a feeling he will never respect you in that marriage if you go on and marry him.

You need to make a stance on this and pray to God.

perform istikhara and find people(good Muslims) who can speak with your parents.

I pray for Allah's guidance for you.

showietee: Psychologically, women wants guardian and protections, so they ll a wanna be under a man but man feels free and can marry anytime. Also there are more men in jail than women.

^^^that was what i posted earlier. Remember this is all about islam, tbaba cited china and india, wat is the % of muslims there?

Why is it most females wants monogamy?

Do yo get anything from my reply to bro kabsun, can yo answer me?
The people you are speaking with here are not dumb. Neither are they illiterate.

If you want to say anything, better back it up with a scientific FACT or a quotation from the qur'an or hadith.

There is a very big problem with things like this. Some so called alfas use wrong 'facts' in their lectures. Some followers, unaware assume these are derived from the Quran or ahadith. When the followers later realise they are wrong, they think the Qur'an is wrong.

So once again, @ Showietee, prove your point that women want companionship more than men do, psychologically.
FamilyRe: The Family Section Fun Room!! by deols(f): 8:21pm On Sep 02, 2013
This is to the married and engaged folks(men and women)- honest answers pls

Q. How important do you think beauty was to your partner while choosing you. Do you think your beauty played an important role?/ most important role? or do you think they would have chosen you anyway(even if you weren't as good looking)?

N.B- This is in relation to the beauty in terms of looks. Inner beauty is not what I am asking about.

Q.2- If they would have chosen you anyway, what are the most important things about you that you think(not that they said) made them choose you?

yellowpawpaw: Yes I saw ur post but couldn't reply u cos not only that my post was hidden seconds I sent it, I was equally banned. Funny isn't it?
I will still post the same thing I posted earlier that got me banned but maybe not word for word.

Stop using that analogy pls.
Its not true.
Remember the power of the mind and mouth.
It also seems u r pessimistic which is not good.
From ur posts I can see u hv some issues. I suggest u go and get good supplement to build urself up.
Also eat,rest and exercise well.

I wish u the best.

(Now this may not be d way I put it on the other post but this is actually what I sent to u) can anybody tell me what is wrong with this?(if actually its not hidden anyway)
the anti spambot banned you. You probably used some words associated with spam.

@Op, I think you should do what you are comfortable with. There is no golden rule to it. The probability of a younger woman being more fertile is high. but that does not mean every young woman is.

To be sure, you can see a gynaecologist/obstetrician with the lady before tying the knots.

druid06: I find it hard to believe that the same Deols who awarded my truthfulness with a ban on an issue not relating to religion or Islam in particular is the "sweet" little thing you speak of. I have made it a value on being inert on religious matters for personal reasons.

Half of the MODs on this forum are power hungry and crazed extremist in their own way. The showcase of their power is just their way of inadvertly telling us how immature and low-minded they are. It's like making a servant a king or handing a real life ammunition to a kid.

They fail to understand that this a forum and there's no way you could curb the opinion of another just because it differs from yours. I have never been against Islam but Mclantunji and other Islamist fundamentalist/extremist on this forum has pushed my tolerance level further to a more advance negate value.

I think Seun needs to school and tutor this MODs in real life how to become moderators and not be biased, egocentric individuals and make them understand just because a user's views differs from theirs, it shouldn't amount to a ban. He should also be careful who he chooses as MODs.
I wonder what it is you worship and what that teaches you?

I banned you for insulting someone's father and you still come here to rant about it?

aren't you ashamed of yourself?

The day you are banned for NOTHInG, come and make a case for it.
IslamRe: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by deols(op): 2:42pm On Sep 02, 2013
Showietee wants to prove something that I can't yet get.

first, he brings a false claim that women are more than men.

then, he talks psychology

and finally, timing.

can he even prove any of these? showietee, pls prove at least the part that says women are more psychologically interested in the need for a partner?
why you don't have the power to unbann mehuh
I can unban you. But it is better he does since he is the one who gave the ban in the first place.

You can also speak with the supermod or admin, making it clear you learnt your lessons wink

look at their beautiful, innocent faces.

I remember those days when the real reason we wanted to go back to school was the new things.

checking them over and over again and hoping that school would start soon.
