Sit her down and ask her to tell you the truth if she has someone else, that you'll let her go if she wants. Then hear what she has to say cos whether you like it or not, both of you have lost interest and things might not be the same. So its better to ask, let everyone know their stand. Those who know already know it is a done deal. I once called Obaseki the future chairman of the PDP governors forum. I may not be wrong.
Godwin needs to win this election so he can concentrate on flushing out killer herdsmen from Ovia North LGA.
But I've been thinking, if the Oba of Bini is as powerful as they claim he is. Why hasn't he made any declaration to stop the ravaging of his land by killer herdsmen.
I'm not saying the Oba is powerless, but even a fool knows that inability to use an imaginary power is even worse than being powerless.
Isn't our Oba just overrated? [/s] Oba is not a politician and doesn't get involved in partisan politics. He doesn't rubbish himself with politicians nor allow them to do so, since politicians come and go but Oba remains till he joins his ancestors. So, stop talking rubbish. |

Mr too know, this is the 21st century and not 19th century. He's well educated and exposed enough to know how to lead his kingdom and people in the modern times. This archaic mentality is not useful in these times, the kind of mentality that robbbed the Binis and Edo kingdom of its greatness in the last 2 centuries. A king and kingdom that doesn't evolve or innovative will be left behind or remain a relic of history. Perhaps, you should go teach him what he doesn't know.
Awao!! This Oba Ewuare ll has truly desecrated the great Benin Kingdom. He is just gallivanting from one place to other. Oba that is not supposed to leave d palace The other day he attended Pastor Felix Omobude church instead of attending Holy Church of Arusa at Akpakpava which was his fore-fathers church and Benin traditional church. He even went to Abuja last year. I hope he will not travel outside Nigeria before this year end.
His father Oba Erediuwa will be weeping at where he is cos of what this Oba is doing.
I even heard that he change the ancient custom of Oba not seeing the apparent hair to the throne, he now sees his Edaiken of Uselu.
It's high time all the Enogies nd Chiefs in Benin call him to order

TonyeBarcanista: Thank God you married a GREAT GUY This is a generic term used by women when their bid to separate in-laws from their husbands failed them.
The older sisters are your own older sisters too. You have to be in their good book at all times as long as it isn't against your legitimate interest. As long as they are not telling you to do overboard
There is no manipulation whatsoever. It is you trying to separate your husband from his sisters. As a wife, you have to accept your in-laws as yours and live in peace with them as long as they aren't perpetuating evil against your interest. Your husband has lived with them for MANY years before he met you. He knows them better than you do. You have to find way to sort it with them than try to make him see reason to separate from them.
What transpired among you in the 10 years? What is the recurring issue?
This is irrelevant to the subject
I'd do same if I was your hubby! There is no way you can claim to love hubby without showing same love and respect to his BLOOD!
Your mind has always been made up and you are done pretending! His elder siblings are all he has and you must take them.likewise
Go and make peace with your in-laws and stop creating this arrogance.
Do know that you will never enjoy hubby as long as you are warring with his blood!
If you like take the advice of all these frustrated, angry, bitter and aggressive feminists, and male she-men, NA YOU SABI Superbly dissected and dissolved without fear or favour. This is what many modern young wives do. They come with intent to isolate hubby from his relatives with excuses of interference. They forget that hubby didn't come alone to marry her from her parents on the day of the marriage. Many modern marriages won't last as long as our young wives want to practice Western style of "me and my husband" alone. |
