Nigeria will make my day if they can spell LIBYA by beating them 5 - 0.
You don't understand, this is Libyan's Team A, all their players are home-based unlike Super Eagles and most other African teams in the tournament who are playing with our Team B because our best legs are in Europe. So Libya is stronger and favourite to win the tournament.

Una see hypocrisy? The same Fayose that has been accusing Buhari of stiffling opposition, cursing and wishing Buhari death is now barring a former govnor, who's now an opposition in his state and still has a chance to lead the state.
See how the fear of fayemi coming back as governor one day and possibility that he, Fayose could be paid back in his coin, is beginning to overwhelm him. Shame

If okocha and kanu contest for president they will loose woefully so I don't think his being famous had anything to do with his victory.

He simply knew people in high places that mattered.
Both of them need to go to school first to get the relevant education needed for the position. Popularity alone is not enough.
After Weah lost in his 2nd attempt he was about to go the way of instidating unrest.
I read online that Obasanjo mediated btw him and Sirleaf Johnson and advised him to suspend his ambition and go back to school to get more education. That when he's ready he (Obasanjo) will assist him to realise his ambition. Weah went back to school, obtained a Bachelor and Masters degree in the U.S. while also running as a senator to gain experience.
This is Nigerians are missing out of his success story. He went through a process not a short-cut that our youths imagine.

U know how much economic value is generated at every RCCG camp meetings, projects, events, outreaches, paraphernalia/accessory store etc. by vendors and transporters, suppliers and numerous other stakeholders?

Productive minds will focus on harnessing that power and generating earnings and wealth...
The typical Nigerian who (has been brought up by failed parents to believe that government was the reason they were never able to give a better quality of life and as a result does not know how to achieve success unless it's handed out to him by some benevolent benefactor)will focus on how Daddy GO is buying private jets, when even progressive muslims are making millions from offering commercial services in RCCG meetings!

In the 60s, Ghana accused Nigerians of corrupting their country and sent Nigerians packing.
A decade later, the reverse became the case as Ghana scattered their people ran to Nigeria and started messing Nigeria up with crimes, Shagari sent them packing. Today, we still have "Ghana must go" bag.
South African politicians for fear international condemnation couldn't do it but have been inciting their people against other Africans and killing them for similar reasons.

A promising country will take DATA as number one priority. We don't have data in Africa
Just like PHCN refused to distribute prepaid meter to allow people pay for their consumptions, so they exploit the consumers.

As long as it remains archaic it pays them more by exploiting the loopholes.
Administration comes and goes but the civil remains.

Crime › Re: Residents Steal Gravel From Road Construction That Is In Ongoing (Photos) by DeRay98(m): 11:32am On Dec 31, 2017
omohayek:
Two thumbs up to you for hitting the nail on the head! As much as Nigerians love to blame their leaders for short-sighted greed, the leaders are drawn from the self-same people, and therefore exhibit the same failings as the great majority of Nigerians - tribalism, ignorance, religious fanaticism, wishful thinking, and of course (the Nigerian specialty) extreme selfishness which manifests itself in compulsive thievery. As the OP's pictures vividly illustrate, the average Nigerian has no real concept of a "common good" to which he or she must pay attention, so why should the leadership be any better?
This is crux of the matter. Lots of us Nigerians as seen here like shifting blames while covering their nose to avoid smelling their own stink.
If you can excuse these thieves for stealing gravel that's met for the road to their communities that can enhance their economic growth due to improved transportation of goods and services. These same people can steal billions if they are kept in charge.
About 20yrs ago, a major road expansion construction was going through my village to dualize the fed road.
Some of my village people were going to steal gravel and sand from the site at night. We knew because our house is by the express and my dad kept saying "this is how people devalue themselves and expect others to respect them".
Today, many NLders are giving excuse of "hunger and hard economy" as reason to for doing same thing in another community 20yrs after. No hope for next generation of Nig leaders because they 'll be worse than those they criticise and hate now and they 'll find excuse to justify it. angry

Yuck! The way people eat just anyhow meat tho, don't they get scared of catching a weird disease or a terrible stomach bug?
My dear, your fears are unfounded. It's social media that's bringing into public domain the life of ordinary people. What you see now may be strange to City dwellers like you but that's how we (even your grandparents) have being living.
Bushmeat is an integral part of the economy and diet of rural communities of which I'm a proud product. We're not fake but real people living real lives.
While we agree on the need to save and preserve wild life, it can be done in reserved forests created by govt. But there'll still forest left for farming and other bush activities.
For your information, the hyped claims of bushmeat been responsible for the recent occurrences of never before known viral diseases is a scam by the West to cover-up the scientific research they have been conducting in Africa and other developing continents.
Their research have produced these viruses and their disease.
Bush animals may carry disease but our ancestors should have been wiped our centuries ago because they lived closer to the animals then than we do today.
Believe me. Go to YouTube and see documentaries of the origine of HIV etc.

pleading with every meaningful Nigerian. It's not about APC or PDP. But it's about our future and that of our kids.

Just imagine how 8 yrs would be under Buhari. Hardship and suffering. God forbid.
I beg any good and petriotic Nigerian to reason beyond party, religious and ethnic lines.

People are suffering under this administration. That you are privileged to still be with your job or come from a rich home, Eating what you desire to eat everyday does not mean people are not suffering.

Pls lets reason beyond party, religious and ethnic lines and save ourselves and our kids from impending doom and hardship.

Dear kind Nigerians, our vote is our power lets join hands together and make sure this senseless man is thrown out of presidential sit for the future of our beloved country,
Share this massage and save our nation from doom.
I hear your plea, but where's are the leaders and alternative party that has shown any sign of seriousness to provide a better govt?
PDP ruined the country in 16yrs. APC came up as the only active opposition after about 13yrs. Some of the same people in PDP crossed over like old wine in a new wine skin. Now, the pain that all suffered under PDP led to heightened expectations of APC who unfortunately didn't prepare for the expectation.
The billions dollars question is, who do we look up to?
Please, don't tell me "PDP".
I'm not a politician I don't belong to any party. I have not voted in the last 3 elections because I was out of the during elections.

Congratulations to the great sport icon, looking forward to the day a former and well educated Nigeria Footballer will achieve this kind of laudable feat.
From my knowledge of successful ex-footballers in Nig, Segun Odegbami stands tall above most of them. But Nig politics is not about who can lead but who is supported by the elite politicians. Even in sports where his administrative and business acumen has been proven no govt has seen him as a quality sports minister material. He doesn't have a political godfather.

My sister you are welcome to "Men's World". The heart of men is desperately wicked. If you are not doing anything to generate income for the family is a great problem for you because anything about you irritates him. Check your financial life very well.
Secondly, it could be you have turned yourself to a different person after giving birth to your child. Check your looks.
Last but not the least. Check your relationship with your in-laws. They could be instigating your husband.
In conclusion, I encourage you to pray without ceasing.
Misuse of Bible statement. In the Bible that statement refers to human beings in general without any sex bias.

One other reason is that they go to show off what acquired during the year and intimidate poor village people. That's why younger boys become more determined to get rich at all costs. A young man with lots of money can bully an average elder in village meeting and even ask the elder to "shut up", what do you have".
Some do bizness charms, patronize village Dibia, celebrate idol masquerades only to come to Lagos to claim "I'm a Catholic".
