senatordave1:Of course the judges have taken note and it is not something to be sorry about. A collation system is not ultimately the same as a collation center. Are you saying system and center can be freely interchanged or you didn't even read through what you are quoting? |
Mrfeel:Of course. We heard worse preceding the elections and they're still walking unscathed. However, it is commendable that some Yorubas saw wrong in that and championed the call for his head. Such general condemnation fosters unity. |
The Osun State Police Command has arrested one Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe 'm' 28years for posting hateful content calculated to incite ethnic violence in the country via his Twitter account on May 18, 2023. The suspect will be arraigned in court upon completion of investigation. https://twitter.com/PoliceNG/status/1669659613254373378?t=Okeib4CaROu3usX1M9yZYg&s=19 This comes at the back of a spate of attacks on Igbos (and other tribes) living in South Western Nigeria, physically during the elections, and continued online afterwards. However, a group of Yorubas championed the cause they bring him to book and the Nigerian Police responded to the evidence provided.

Limitless72:What is the model of your system? System Specs? I installed the latest version days ago and have been using it flawlessly. |
swaggerjack:The difference is that David Hundeyin projected this two years ago.

To think that some people were arguing when we told them the end game is to cut government funding of universities. |
Christistruth03:I avoid market women gossip as a lifestyle. I will appreciate it if you are factual here, thank you. Like most of you will say, campaigns are over. |
Christistruth03:Maybe you missed it so I will reiterate. Are we still talking about the legislature of a state enacting laws against non-indigenes? I'm asking because you have failed to provide the example of when the legislative arm met to propose laws against the interest of non-indigenes legitimately residing in the state. |
9182736455O1999:The cost of governance in Nigeria is expensive and any sensible thing that can be done to cut costs is very much welcome. |
Christistruth03:Oh, I'm sorry for your confusion. Are we still talking about the legislature of a state enacting laws against non-indigenes? I'm asking because you have failed to provide the example of when the legislative arm met to propose laws against the interest of non-indigenes legitimately residing in the state. |
As expected, David Hundeyin took his time to critically analyse the loan conditions and it appears we're talking so much about something that may never be. On the bright side, stopping the funding of universities may just be what Nigeria needs to start shedding her humongous debt load. There is currently too much emphasis and bias on the paper certificate against other sectors that are actually what we need more in the country. I'm talking of vocational learning centres that come across way cheaper and provide more services in comparison.

PDJT:Niger Delta will have a field day! 85% of Nigeria's foreign exports are from their region. With all those installations and their teeming youthful and educated population, it's going to be a win-win for them. To be honest, I wouldn't mind such law being enacted all over Nigeria in unison. It'll eventually lead to the break up of the country; at least, resource control. |
Christistruth03:I don't know what case you're talking about. Can you please explain in details, citing examples? |
VeryWickedMan:Why are you people like this 😂 |
tollyboy5:Like I said, argue with the constitution. It is written in plain English and available in hardcopy and soft copy. 🤞 |
Like I said on the other thread; it only makes sense that the loans are introduced because subsidy would be stopped. Although I didn't reason as far as you did. |
AntiZikist:Let me get this straight. An able bodied young man is hoping on abandoned properties to earn his worth? God abeg. |
tollyboy5:Argue with Section 42 of the 1999 constitution. I have no axe to grind with you, Chief.
|
AntiZikist:You should be having this conversation with the Baale it was purchased from, not me. He hasn't come to me to say he wants his land back. 👍 |
AntiZikist:I'm a property owner in Lagos. Just received a bill for Land Use Charge in hundreds of thousands after they failed to process any of it for the past 5/6 years. Before then, I pay this every year. I also pay my income taxes in the two firms I work with. You? What's your contribution to Lagos State since you were born? Parasite. |
Some people up there are saying 'loan is not by force'. Funny. I want to believe fewer tertiary institutions is the real problem facing the citizens. The government has a running battle with ASUU over a number of issues, most of which will sink a hole in the government purse. So you can say funding the institutions is the real problem of the government. How can a government with funding problems turn around to operate a loan facility for more learners to add to their already existing funding problem. It only makes sense if the end game is to cut their funding for the tertiary institutions and channel such funds into the loan facility. The impending hike becomes a problem, and eventually, makes the effects of the loan 'by force for all and sundry'. |
Obasa deserves no attention as he is just being a foolish lawmaker. Except their laws become superior to that of Nigeria, Section 42 of the 1999 constitution already ensured no one will be treated unjustly or in isolation by virtue of their state of origin. It's surprising how a supposed lawmaker missed all of that.

HardMirror:Who recorded the most votes in the North where Islam is the foremost religion? What is his religion? Who recorded the most votes in South West Nigeria? What is his tribe? Stop being clever by half. |
Yeah right. Playing to the gallery. Where is Dasuki today after diverting $2.1 billion? Just 4 years in detention and that's it. This format don cast abeg. |
We saw what the one who completed it did, the fanfare and publicity and support from all around Nigeria, save very few. But you see this particular one that split people in obvious factions, they should just go and rest. And some fools tribalised the whole thing ignorantly.

eleniyan2020:A quick question, just to be sure you have an idea what you're talking about. Now that she is from Kogi, is there any option to say? In a nutshell, if you have nothing to say, say nothing. And by the way, I guess you just introduced a new word in the dictionary. |
Starhearts:Just like that, the judiciary arm is sidelined. |
N3TRAL:You are right. Perhaps, you can do well to mention the others who have commenced importation? nlfpmod

Oh, but he's going to get the Dasuki treatment, No? |
