Dudeweedlmao:
You proved the OP right. Gradutes today are lacking very much in the critical thinking department. Just look at what you typed.
I believe a 'critical thinking' person would proceed to highlight the faults in the submission and even proffer a better channel of thought..not neglecting to reassess his/her opinion before making it public. That way, you would have even taken care of possible objections from my end.
Just look at what you typed. Did you even touch the log at all before aiming for the speck?
EducationRe: 5 Key Skills Most Nigerian Students Are Gradually Losing Due To Social Media by DesChyko: 5:56pm On Aug 15, 2019
Weathered:
see your uninformed, biased response. The OP is 101% correct.

Social media is an obfuscation of reality whether in education, dating, social interaction and all.

Over 70% of Nigerian students can't write properly, neither can most youth maintain physical conversation and intetraction.

The word "Phub" wasn't coined in Nigeria. It's a global situation that stems from the social disconnect when people completely ignore real live conversation and focus on their phones.

As it is today, social media has given the world less than it has taken.
Uninformed? Biased?
I bet my existence you can't even define your basis for this claim.

70% of Nigerian students refer to about 50 million people at secondary and tertiary levels who use the social media. So you mean this number have this problem. It would be interesting to know where this 'informed' information was obtained.

The OP listed about five problems arising from social media on which my submission was based. However you see just one. The physical 'part'. And thus proceeded to label its entirety biased and uninformed based on your opinion on 'one'. That looks quite biased to me.

Well, like I said and I will restate it incase you missed it. You abuse social media, you reap the negatives. It's as simple as that. One would be lucky to get away with being a social misfit only in a country that has a plan for its citizens from the day they were born. For a country like Nigeria, hunger is sure to perform the necessary brain reset even if one was destined to while away his/her life on social media.

What we need to focus on now, is to harness the potential of social media now that its profits are tidy, not tackle irrelevant problems.

Rabbash undecided

The world is moving onto harnessing the potentials of social media to jump to the next level and someone somewhere thinks it's causing problems. As insecure as Nigeria is, you think it's safer to be plowing the environs instead?
It would be ideal to differentiate 'abuse' from 'norm'. If one abuses social media, he/she will reap the negatives. Q.E.D.

Using myself as an example, run down my posts on every social media, I refrain from using short spellings of words. It's a choice.

Are your targets more interested in social media than paying attention to you? Then forge your messages/lessons to reach them on social media, just as you did here and we got the message you could have given us face to face.

Not trying to run down your message, but it could be better expressed.

Social media is the bomb.

Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are on the same level. As at the end of last season, all were called '4 idiots' because they were throwing away top 4 chances. Luck and a bit of fire helped the champions league teams gain their position.
However ugly man Utd is, it has never been easy for Liverpool to defeat them. Records even favor United over Liverpool and Man City. Even post Ferguson era has not been a perpetual win for the teams.
Stop calling United a set tier team
Uh.. I guess you didn't really get me. I called Man Utd a 'second-gear' team because they were far from their best in that game. Even the counter attacking football looked disjointed. Yet they were able to DEMOLISH Chelsea in what is the most impressive of the week in terms of results.

Everyone expected Liverpool battering Chelsea after the 4-0 loss to a second-gear Man Utd side.
But they made Liverpool work for the win to fair play to them.
EducationRe: Please Can You Solve These? by DesChyko: 6:53am On Aug 15, 2019
DJHANDSOME:
deschyko, why is it necessary to multiply the first n second equation by 3 and 2? Question 1
To make the coefficient of one variable in both equations the same so that when you subtract one equation from the other, the variable will be eliminated and you can easily solve for the other variable (Elimination method)

In that case, I chose to eliminate variable 'x' so I multiplied the first equation with the coefficient of x in the second equation.. Then I multiplied the second equation with the coefficient of x in the first equation.

If I chose to eliminate y, I would use the coefficients of y to multiply instead so that when I subtract, y would be eliminated.

Ferdinandu:
Nonsense where was she? To be accountant General, she would likely be a lifetime civil servant. A civil servant living the lifestyle of the richest in the state. Is something wrong with your thinking faculty?
You don't have to go all out offensive, Oga. I'm pro-Ihedioha but what I speak of, is a collective virus in governance.
Out of desire to impress/witchunt, somebody may begin to step on unnecessary toes.
She is married isn't she? What calibre is her late husband even before she married him or became AG? Could he have easily afforded the house and cars? A few pointers to that is that he schooled in the US which shows there is old money in his family as he kept visiting the US even as he was based in Nigeria. He even died there sef. He was also known as a philanthropist in his home town which shows he had enough to go round. And mind you, the wife wasn't in the picture yet. The man could have easily sponsored her ambition.
Now, to the wife. Does she have personal investments of her own because as a civil servant, high up the ranks, she should be entitled to big money loans at least.
The investigation must be concise and thorough. That's all we plead because she has a life aside AG office. The hate you give now will come up one day to bite you in the otule. Be guided.

Sometimes when I go to buy phones at Alaba, I'll want to google the specs of the models I see but it's not possible with the state of network there. Even sometimes, I'll not even get 4G service after inserting my 4G enabled SIM in the new 4G phone to freestyle.
That way, we just buy phone by faith and hope for the best.
