vizkiz:Lol.. My thoughts exactly |
Such is unjustifiable and age has nothing to do with it. Romeo and Juliet, while being ficitious, is the perfect model of what love should be - originate unconditionally, not for certain reasons, and at a young age too. After all, we've seen elderly men patronize LovePeddler-houses and harrass ladies. |
onatisi:My brother, with all these cash EFCC has uncovered, it's a wonder the country still need a loan ![]() |
I hope the essay is worth it?
Well, lemme vote with all my emails |
Are we still talking about this? We should have come to terms that the mule-head will do exactly how he pleases irrespective of whom it troubles. Relax. We survived 4 bad years. We can push through another 4 worse years. #Come2019. |
The error is quite insignificant as to their employability status. This isn't a show-off, it's an appreciation of God's mercy on their lives. Hence, your jibe is quite uncalled for. |

One Hour, Twelve Minutes and this isn't on frontpage?
Something is wrong.
OP, add more 'snake-y pix' please ![]() |
I guess you should build yours and sell it without telling him too. |
What's wrong is the money invested. It is unequal. The buyer invested $20 and got $30 while the other invested $50 but got $40. So, the seller made the profit of $10, not the buyer. He made a loss of $10 instead |
If only you know Jesus' first miracle |
This is so sad. Can't wish this on anyone. God have mercy. It is beyond me how an eyedrop could trigger such skin reactions |
What was intended as a revelation thread has transformed into a judgement thread. He aired an opinion, and the vast majority resorted to rubbishing his person as if that would help increase their jamb scores; or reduce his. Imagine if a decision maker in the JAMB field were to be going through these comments, would he have seen enough logical submissions to push for the remarking? Nigerians missing the bigger picture since 1960. |
Teophilus96:Na South South or South East Universities dey be Vikings backyard like that. Such experience was crazy though. |
Remember, it's APC.. Your past matters not. |
Lol.. Imagine? What else would I do if I perceive your attention a distraction? Why would I want to 'follow' a person whose beliefs are contrary to mine? To learn or to fight? I think you should sort yourself out |
I think you guys were together before you became a Corps Member right? Probably, your own case is quite different. So, you may just tell her how you feel about it if this fact of hers really bothers you. |
The title of this thread doesn't give a sound perception of the OP's emotional balance, which is key to logical arguments. The moderators should have edited it to something more balanced, at least, for the sake of the forum's integrity. A word like 'Haters' makes a mockery of democracy. Whatever happened to 'opposition' or 'detractors' or 'critics' some other formal descriptions. Seems moderators' job description is limited only to ban, thread closure and frontpage duties. |
SUPOL:You're quite a disgrace to adulthood. And that's an advice if you really examine all your responses. Speaking of which you should wake up and look around you. It appears the world had left you behind a long time ago. |
pweshboi:Financial security especially. Then, the uncertainty of tomorrow with the waning economy. That is the security I mean, not the 'Boko Haram, Armed robbers' kind of security. |
SUPOL:A nineteen year old is still a teenager. Why are you so insistent on embarrassing yourself? Abeg, stop it. You're trying to be funny but it's disgraceful. I joined Nairaland as a teenager eight years back. So if there are teenagers here today, it should be normal and expected, especially now that phones are very cheap to own and use. I'm just surprised that such obvious fact never crossed your mind. |
Food For Thought.. But asking at the wrong time. Try again in 2019, because now, Buhari's administration is not giving citizens the security to reason rationally. |
Idiot ![]() |
SUPOL:It's none of your business, neither is it an excuse for such silly question. |
SUPOL:Very Stupid Question |
An incident I witnessed today prompted me to open this thread, so that fellow citizens who are in the force or have knowledge of how things are done by the law should put us aright. At about 3pm today, 27th of February, 2016, I went into a convinence store in Okokomaiko bus stop in Lagos to get some personals. As I was stepping into the store, an Igbo man was leaving also, exchanging pleasantries with the owner of the store as he left. It wasn't up to two minutes that we began to hear a row building up outside. There was the man who just left the store being dragged and manhandled by policemen and forced to enter a small yellow bus; the type used by commercial drivers plying Alaba International route. The policemen, led by one that isn't wearing his full uniform, were ordering him into the vehicle in loud voices but he resisted vehemently. He kept asking 'Where are you taking me to?' and 'What did I do?' but got no response whatsoever from the officers. His refusal to accede their instructions earned him more brutality. It was until the owner of the store intervened, and told him in Igbo Language, that he should go with them that the man finally relented and went into the vehicle (obviously, he knew where one or all of the policemen were operating or could be found). Then the policemen drove off. I tried to put myself in the man's shoes and I discovered I would do the same because of fear of the unknown. 1. I didn't know where I was being taken. Even the reason(s) for the arrest doesn't matter as much as the destination. 2. Even if I did, how would my whereabouts be traced eventually if no one close to me knows where I was taken? I won't kid myself into believing Nigeria has a central database where all arrests are being logged in by the minute and can be accessed from any Police Station. If I'm gone, I'm gone. So these are my questions: 1. The way the arrest(s) is(are) being made, is that the proper way? 2. If it is, what makes it proper? Are there certain reasons or conditions? 3. If it isn't proper, how do I make my rights and privileges known in a way that I wouldn't be accused of breaching the law? Please, I would like enough publicity on this so that seasoned men and women in the field can sort us out. Cc: Lalasticlala , Obinoscopy |
For the first time this season, Chelsea might just come from behind to win.. Stay Put |
Forster last conceded to Chelsea. Since then, he has gone on a spree of clean sheets, breaking a club record for minutes played by a goalkeeper without conceding. The run has now been ended by Chelsea. |
Even Hiddink is moving about to spur his team on.. If na Van Gaal, he go just sit down one place like person wey shit for knicker. |
Costa is beginning to lose his temper.. That is a sign ![]() |
What a miss by Mikel. He doesn't want to add to his 1 Premier League goal after 10 years! |
tpiar:Was really feeling the humour till I came across your dry post. #KillJoy |
