Sagamite: And so what if that is the case?Spoiling for a fight or interested in the logic? ![]() Godmystrength: But marrying early doesn't translate to having children early. There are lots of couples who marry very early and have delay in child bearing say like 10,15,20years....True.. However, that is circumstantial, not ordinary. |
Sagamite: To be frank, I think I am more interested in hearing your logic of why it is important to get married as a young man.To avoid scenarios like being 50 and your first issue is just finishing secondary school.. |
nairamaverick: which year would it be completed?Second paragraph of the news. The project, with the capacity of 2,700 megawatts, is expected to be completed within two years.Smh |
Since the promises were unfulfilled like some of those Lamido made to his people, I guess he's calling for a restraint on the 'kicking leg' with a cute Ghana Must Go bag. |
To think we entrusted our security to people who can't secure themselves. |

@OP, graduating is not an easy feat. It'll be okay if you can afford a clean slate, but I'ld advise you to continue and make do with what you have. Having a first class, a dream, depends on many other factors other than your input, which is your only contribution. So, leave those dreams and make do with your reality. That's what the economy has given us. What you need more is network(connections). This is Naija. I have more to say, but this will be all for now. |

It's possible they developed new regimens?? I mean, they're not Nigerians. You should be sure they'd be ready for any other emergency outbreak. If they had given off all their resources, just imagine what'll happen if they have another outbreak. |

Hehehe.. If not that your gist was eventually hilarious, I'ld have multiplied the Advert charges for this section by the number of paragraphs and give you the bill ![]() ![]() |
You're spot on. Many of the investors from Nigeria are terribly complaining about the currency and exchange, claiming that any attempt to convert into Naira leads to a loss of 30% face value of the money. Many of those guys have returned back to Nigeria, for life has become difficult for them there. I posted about the Confessions of a Ghana-based Nigerian Business Man some months ago when he spoke about the deplorable state of the country. I think his claim is coming good. |
^^^^^ With the rate at which you call everyone you happen upon a child, I'm beginning to marvel if you're in Methuselah's age group. @OP, you know what you're in. You just don't know how to stamp it. Start by insisting you want it. |
^^^^^^ That was uncalled for. A creative mind is busy putting in place, a platform where we can learn, and you're being the stumbling block. |
One thing for sure is no one is perfect. One can only give a hundred percent positive answer to all these questions if he/she choose to be blind to some areas in his/her own and partner's life. In a nutshell, every relationship is a risk, that's why we must make sacrifices. Forget all those textbook love lives, one has to make do with the realistic situation he/she finds himself/herself in. Love, after all, doesn't always come through the front door. |
A little mathematics to boot.. According to the article on Ebola found on Wikipedia page, it has a fatality rate of 65-90%. In Nigeria, out of 14 cases, 5 recovered fully while only 5 have been confirmed dead. This means the fatality rate in Nigeria now is [(5/14) * 100 ] less than 36%. They have managed to keep the fatality rate less than the perceived level. I think that is commendable. Not to say everyone can rest on their oars now, but they have tried in expunging the fear. |
Well, I saw it recently on my way to a hospital in Imo State. As I was in a hurry, I didn't ask for the selling rate, so I just assumed inflation must have taken its course, and requested for #100 worth. To my surprise, the 'Aboki' gave me exactly 50 pieces inspite of the big size!! Alas, something inflation didn't affect much in Nigeria. But I think it was adulterated. The farts I used to associate with eating it didn't surface much even as I did them all in one day. |
Gulak has a valid point. The 'remove to succeed' strategy is just another brand of corruption, especially if the law is against it. But man, you just have to commend the speaker's creativity. Genius if gone undetected. |
Just don't give up. I hear you're doing a fine job now. Not that I ever turned my back on you, FG, but we're entitled to some positive news. |
As regards to the use of relaxer, I grew up around quite a number of women and I think they use it to make for easier combing as the African hair is curly and would easily get tangled and really becomes difficult to comb then. But after relaxing, the hair loses some of its natural strength, and thus constant combing would make the hair cut and unequal heights messes it up, enter using artificial weavons and atachments to hold it in place while it strengthens and returns to its virgin state overtime, requiring relaxers again. Probably, you didn't do some research before that article. Some things are out of place there. |
