PoliticsRe: Beautify Your Premises Or Go To Jail – Fashola by Desola(f): 8:23pm On Sep 12, 2012
coded guy: Fashola has no right to tell people to beautify their sorroundings, besides beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. How does he know what people consider as beautiful. He only has a right to tell residents to make sure their environment and premises are clean and tidy, abi the beautification and cleanliness now havethe same meaning?

If I have a plain wall in front of my house and it is kept clean, then that's how I want it, but with this law some scroungy official will expect me draw some designs on the wall, thus fulfilling this obnoxious law.

I owe the state cleanliness not beautification as they want to see it.
Which is why you should wait for the law to be passed and interpreted. I'm sure beautification could be anything from ensuring that your drains are not blocked and that your surroundings are not littered but only externally, really. Whatever you choose to do inside the confines of your house is your palaver.

Tokotaya: If you give beggars money, you are going to jail. If you jump the red light, you are going to jail. If you ride okada on major roads, you are going to jail. If you drive against traffic, you are going to jail etc. Fashola repeat after me: 'Enacting a law does not make a problem go away.' Roll up your sleeves, muster enough political will and mobilise your lieutenants to enforce reasonable law consistently. That is the secret.
by the time we jail all of you, you'll be so traumatised that you'll pack your loads and go back to your villages.

afam4eva: I've been thinking about this for some time now. lagos is very smaall in land mass but has a huge population. Just imagine an earthquake or Hurricane(God forbid) in Lagos. Our best brains, human resources, infrastructures etc will be wasted. We have to decentralize and fast.
I wish that earthquake on your papaland fest. Oloshi, doomsayer. When it's not your land, how would you not wish ill upon it. Awon omo koniran jatijati.

afam4eva: People go to cities because there's something to get from those cities and Abuja does not offer that opportunity. Abuja is a political city and not a commercial or an industrial city, so you don't expect people to move there in droves. On the other hand, lagos is a commercial hub. This where almost everything good about Nigeria is.

Cities in Asia and south America are also experiencing the same population explosion that's happening in lagos. MUmbai(Bombay), Bangladesh, Dhaka and Rio De Janeiro are typical examples.
koshi lo sabule e jo, omo okrika oshi!
PoliticsRe: Beautify Your Premises Or Go To Jail – Fashola by Desola(f): 11:07am On Sep 12, 2012
afam4eva: Abuja was not built for the middle class not to talk of the poor. There was a concerted and deliberate effort made by the government that moved the capital to keep away poor and middle class people from Abuja. So far, they've succeeded in doing that to a greater extent. lagos on the other hand is an all comers affair. Whether you're rich, middle-class, poor, beggar, designer, trader, web programmer, white, collar, blue collar, yellow collar, purple collar, agbero, kidnapper, rapistts etc. Lagos provides the opporutnity for everyone.
what a lame excuse for a parasitical offspring. You claim that your ram shackles are better and that you have this and that, yet your states are not viable for you to thrive. We have Abuja and yet its the same lame excuse. Even if you lot have the volt for Nigeria in your backyard, you'd still continue to troop to Lagos. It's just the greed in you and the inferiority complex that it has to be Yorubaland to be better. Admit it, you lot see us as demigod. Oloshi!

Left to me, i'll contract with boko haram to plant bombs at Alaba and your little pockets around Lagos and shish kebab all of you. You are just terrible sores on the face of Lagos and Southwest at large.

centje: it's far easier to govern a state, than to govern nigeria especially as she is presently.
Enlighten me then, please. How hard is it to receive money from 36 states and then redistribute it? The retardeen receives tax revenues from Lagos and gives a percentage of the oil derivatives to Lagos and other states and the huge percentage it keeps for itself is used for foreign trips and paying for a tummy tuck for a greedy obese woman who eats a billion pounds of her own flesh in food. The remaining percentage which is meant to use to provide security for the lives of the citizenry is being used to pay for the upkeep for an asewo in the name of Deizani and to keep the pockets of the millitant filled so as to stop them from bombing their avenue for looting and you tell me that is difficult? You have got to be a joker or betterstill from the moon.

obadiah777: nigerians are easily impressed. benjamin zephaniah rejected an OBE from the queen of england. nobody asked him to contest for anything.
No one is asking him to contest purely on the basis that he declined a title but he is being willed based on his antecedent and the great prosperity he has brought to Lagos. If he can do it for in the smallest state with the most population, then trust me, he can do much more for the 36 states with the vast revenue wrongly at the disposal of the retardeen you currently call president.
PoliticsRe: British PM Threatens Aid Cut 2 African Countries Where Homosexuallism Is Illegal by Desola(f): 10:33am On Sep 09, 2012
drnoel: my thoughts exactly, but we all know money talks and these european countries still don't have much respect 4 d african ones.
then, its perhaps high time that Africans stand true to who and what they are and let the world know that tradition and culture are at our core and that we would not be dictated to. We are spiritual kind and this european sodomy way of life is not akin to us. We have been subjugated for far too long. Our resources have been raped, our people taken into slavery and we are continually being killed just for the colour of our skin and now they want to dictate how we should lead our lives? Posterity would not judge us well if we continue to be in servitude to these white demons. Something must give and we all must rise against this dictatorship. How long are we gonna continue to be the dustbin of the world?

shut the bleep up and chastise your clan man before attempting to remove the speck from another's eyes. The problem with you okrika people is that you run for the hills shouting blue murder when you are rebutted or attacked in kind. I have told you that if you don't brink s.hit, you don't get hit.

Your days of running amok on this forum are numbered. Yorubas would not sit back and take any more balderdash from you. If your kinfolk calls me unprintable names, I would respond to him with my double barrelled curse, so you either take the heat or get the heck outta the kitchen!
PoliticsRe: Fashola Declines Oba’s Chieftaincy Title by Desola(f): 10:11am On Sep 09, 2012
I really don't care for him being the president of Nigeria but willing him to become the governor of the western region or if push comes to shove - the president of Oodua nation. In the meantime however, it would be great if the other ACN governors can borrow leaves from his book and start taking strides to overhaul their respective states in the manner in which 'Fash' has done. In this case, Ogun state has no excuse for not being half as developed as Lagos given its proximity.

Well done, Fash. Yoruba is proud of you!
PoliticsRe: Impeachment: Call Your Adviser To Order, Gov. Okorocha Tells Jonathan by Desola(f): 8:14am On Sep 09, 2012
so what has Gulak done but to state the obvious? If the court of appeal have ruled that the said people be reinstated then not doing so would make Rochas in contempt of court and due process for his removal (if that is the punishment) should proceed. Bringing Salami into this is of bad taste. If the court of law have said that Salami should be reinstated then he should but that does not seem to be the case here.

Okoros would always try to feel funky even when they are clearly wrong. Sheesh!

A common okoro ajokutamamumi who does not have history and whom civilisation brought to by Awolowo opens his filthy okoro mouth to spew trash. So tell me, who these minorities are. Unlike you baboons who claim to come from Israel due to the shame of not being able to trace your roots and how you came to be in the land you are now, we Yorubas do not have minorities. We are one and the same but you wouldn't know that since it is too much to comprehend for your miniature brain.

Morafurker!
