PoliticsRe: Plans Revealed On How North And South Plan To Punish South Western Rascals. by Desola(f): 1:21am On May 03, 2011
LeMolar,

I have just taken the pain to read through a few of your posts only to realise that you have a few sandwiches short of a picnic. I am afraid that this is where our tete-a-tete would have to end since I tend to engage brighter bulbs. I would however leave you in the company of Ezeuche, Kasiem, gokuu as you lot are peas in a pod. I would remember you in my prayers, nevertheless.

How about the oil and gas deposit found in ogun state? Ondo is also the largest cocoa producer in the country.
PoliticsRe: Plans Revealed On How North And South Plan To Punish South Western Rascals. by Desola(f): 12:47am On May 03, 2011
Are you absolutely sure about that, Lemolar? Provide the facts to substantiate your claim. Are you calling the Ilaje people of Ondo, Ijaws now?
PoliticsRe: Plans Revealed On How North And South Plan To Punish South Western Rascals. by Desola(f): 12:29am On May 03, 2011
@gokuu abi no oku? What do you say about the oil in Ondo? Is that part of the SS?

Listen, the UK has little or no natural resources to boast of and has no significant GDP other than that they are great at finance yet, they are still part of the strongest economies in the world. What do you say about that?

I personally think it's a brilliant idea that the Igbos would now be leaving the SW to develop their region. We can't hold them slaves forever. I wish them the very best and looking forward to a long awaited breath of fresh air in my region. I have no doubt that they would succeed. Good luck, good riddance!
PoliticsRe: We Must Keep ACN Out Of The South-South And South-East by Desola(f): 11:55pm On May 02, 2011
Hahaha, these people are so funny, they never cease to amaze me! grin

First, they were attaching themselves to the SS but now, their sights are set on the MBeltans. I laugh in patois, grin grin

You lot are now realising that you are indeed minute in the grand scheme of things and that without piggybacking, you can never be relevant. Do you have no shame? Where is your pride as a people? Why are you so afraid?

Not only have you relinquished your position to the SS, you now look up to them as your saviour. I shake my head when I see you lot jubilating at the supposedly lion share you will be getting from the national cake and how you will rejoice at the downfall of the SW. Little do you know that the SW has moved well beyond that archaic mode of thought. The SW is positioning itself to be self sufficient and less dependant so that when this marriage results in a divorce, they would be sailing smoothly.

It is clear that you lot see yourselves as being under the shadows of the Yorubas, otherwise you wouldn't believe that Lagos has to fall for you lot to become relevant. I personally would be very glad to see Lagos and other SW states rid of Igbos because these group of people are like cancer. They detest anything Yoruba but they can't do without us because we hold the key to their livelihood. After all said and done, you keep trooping down to our states and yet, we don't reciprocate in kind - shouldn't that tell you something. We are a contented people. We don't need Nigeria to exist unlike the Igbos who are looking to Jonathan, their messiah for the next handout.

Shameless group of people. The SS have one over you now, you have sold your birthright and you will never recover from it.

This divorce has to take place and it is time for the progressive west(Oodualand) to do away with this God forsaken union. Yorubaland is at a turning point in its history now. We have unity and peace and comeradism. We don't believe in violence so let's leave those who wants to fight and protect our citizens.

Leave the oil for the SS and let the Igbos carry on with their vendetta against Nigeria. We don't have to be part of this mess o. This is not our fight o. Let's leave the barbarians and forge ahead. That is my own shile kan. Ese o. Oodua a gbe wa o, ase.

See dia blood stained mouths, ole, barawo banzas! Rather than focusing on their region, they always want to drag the SS into them. These people can't even strategize without the oil in the SS in their sight. They are claiming Rivers state (the Ikwere ppl who can't stand their sight). It just goes to show that this region cannot sustain itself without the help of others! Awon ole jatijati!

PoliticsRe: Will You Vote Her As The Next Governor? by Desola(f): 5:21pm On Apr 27, 2011
I am just wondering why Fashola seems to be more popular than Donald Duke who seemed to have set the precedence of good governance.
PoliticsRe: Will You Vote Her As The Next Governor? by Desola(f): 4:47pm On Apr 27, 2011
Please forgive me for this question that i'm about to ask. I am pro Yoruba and indeed pro Fashola but I wondered if anyone can tell me what exactly Fashola has done that no other governor has. Why is he so popular, given that Donald Duke was hailed just as Fashola is now but of course we haven't heard anything from Donald since.

Pardon my ignorance, I was just wondering.

Thanks in advance. E se.
PoliticsRe: North-south Dialogue. What Southerners Misunderstand by Desola(f): 7:40pm On Apr 26, 2011
You always come off as a deranged bigot? The OP is talking about southerners and you took it to the next next of having beef with those that died. Maybe you have never really been caught up in a deadly crisis situation . Since you are mad because nobody from your family died, next time it's going to be their turn.
If non of your family members are yet to die in this unrest, then I wish you and all your kins wailing and deep sadness. Every shoe that is taken off at your doorstep shall be ones of those attending to mourn your kinfolk. You shall know no peace from today henceforth and sadness and deep sorrow shall be your portion. PoliticsRe: North-south Dialogue. What Southerners Misunderstand by Desola(f): 11:17am On Apr 26, 2011
@gadogado,

You have submitted compelling arguments indeed, though, I must admit that I was begining to give in to sentiments due to the reported killings of some Corps members. However, after analysing your arguments, I couldn't agree more that a good number of us have fallen for the genocide propaganda from some "southerners", whom we know have always cried foul in the face of everything. They see this as a ruse to accomplish their previous failed attempt at secession. Everywhere you look, it is always the mention of an Igbo name. Are they the only ones being killed? If indeed there is an ongoing genocide, how come they have only been able to produce just a handful of names? It is always them against the world. Yes, there has been reports of some Yorubas been killed but we don't hear the noise about that.

It is just not plausible to think that these Northeners haven't suffered casualties themselves! And this nonsense about southerners being more educated is just balderdash! And even if that were so, education does not equate common sense, intelligence or wisdom! With all the southerners claim of better education, 'gadogado' has floored you all when it comes to articulating his views and been coherent. You all just need to get off your high horses! Northerners are ill educated yet we have Sanusi Lamido gracing TIMES. How many of your well learned sout

No be today o, Northern Nigeria is known for terrorism and religious extremism while some southern parts are geniuses in drug peddling, yahoo- yahoo, advance fee fraud (to name but a few). Nigeria is bad whichever way you look at it and it is high time we start to dey answer our papa name. I am a Yoruba, not a Nigerian!
PoliticsRe: Why Can't Igbos Withdraw From The Enemy Territory? by Desola(f): 7:55pm On Apr 23, 2011
Namfav,

There are those who choose to group the Nigerian sub region together and call it south when it suits them. However, the Nigerian sub region constitutes the Yorubas in the west, the Igbos to the East and the Niger Deltans to the South South.

Please do not tarr the Yoruba westerners with the same brush as the Igbos because we are very different. We are not part of their imaginary "south", we are Yoruba. We do not hold hatred in our heart like they do but somehow, they have managed to prick our psyche of their deep seated hatred and we are going to be responding in kind.

With that said however, I am in total condemnation of the lives which have been attrociously taken away by some backward minority in the North. I am even more disappointed in the chicken (whom the Igbos have aided into power) for not declaring war on these culprits.
PoliticsRe: Why Can't Igbos Withdraw From The Enemy Territory? by Desola(f): 7:35pm On Apr 23, 2011
now they are saying juju comes from Igbo land! HAHAHAHAHA! na wa oooo! as i said, Igbos are always the scapegoats in Nigeria. so Igbos "rubbed off" on other cultures? really? is that the best you can come up with? face it, Juju is not peculiar to Igbos alone, so just STFU
No, you need to shut your pie hole and consult the faculty of thought before spewing your porkie pies all over the thread.

How are Igbos scapegoats, how? You need to get of your fathereffing high horse and face the facts as they are. Your Engligbo movies are there for reference just in case you are attempting palming ritual killings and black magic on other ethnic groups aside yours. Juju is an African thing and not synonymous to just one group or even country in Africa. It is widely practised even in countries such as Haiti, Jamaica, Brazil to name but a few.

However, with all said, some group of people are known to be notorious perpetretators of these acts more than the others and we all know who they are.
PoliticsRe: Why Can't Igbos Withdraw From The Enemy Territory? by Desola(f): 7:20pm On Apr 23, 2011
girl please! are your people not into rituals and juju or not? or you wanna deny that too? okay. mtcheewwwww, nonsense.
My initial reply to you was the most apt response to all your rhetorics on this thread so i'd leave it at that for now.

We are more alike than you know, in that I can't stand your ilk as much as you can't stand my people. The difference between us however, is that I try as much as possible to relay my views with minimal obscenities.

well, it's a pity that you are a typical arrogant ibo, because i thought you were better than that
what is difficult just to get a significant ibo from 200 years ago? it is not even an offense lol, if you ask a british to name a significant british from 200 years ago will he take offense hehaha

who cares if the average igbo child goes to school, did the average igbo child go to school 30 years ago? fulani youth are educated from a young age, they are not forbidden from having any knowledge. our women are allowed to be educated, they can draw inspiration from great women like nana asma'u to better themselves, it is not at all forbidden, and as for marrying at 13 or 14, what is wrong with that? there is alot to show for it, we have a history, go around the north, you still see a rich heritage, and proud people who have a rich history, i don't get it how you are making fun of our lifestyle, where were you pre-colonial? head hunting, eating human flesh, murdering twins is that your tradition abi? sis are you telling me that the north is standing in the way of iboland developing, lol na wa o, what do you smoke? i want that sh_t

Stop all these nonsense about the union of the Southerners, please! Who are the Southerners, anyway? Yorubas are westerners and no, we have nothing in common with the Igbos. I would rather stick with a Yoruba from Benin republic than to be in a union with an Igbo man. Wetin sef? These people can't stand Yoruba but to secede on their own, they can't. Why drag Yorubas into this? Na una brothers dem dey massacre in the North and not Yorubas, abeg. Yorubas no dey find money go death land, we are content group of people and we don't brag in the faces of our host so stop this emotional blackmail by claiming that Yorubas are also been killed, it's your people that are being killed. Abeg don't drag us into your murky waters.

Deal with your problems and when it's right for us, we would pull out of Nigeria.

Foolish Southwest! Where is their political "savvyness" in this now? The North never forgets hurriedly and in the scheme of things, we need the North to return to power. They have always aligned with us but now we have betrayed them.

The North would be sure to frustrate our efforts for presidency from now on. We know that now, they will never vote a S Easterner but we need the North. However this alignment with the SS is going to cost us dearly because we know that the Easterner s who can never taste power would not vote a Yoruba man due to their sheer hatred for us.

Bad move SW.

Quit shifting the goal posts. The argument was that if Lagos was a slum, then the SE will be a more bigger slum.

We weren't talking of their economic importance. Maybe I need to quote you.
Nah, it's not a slum, just a desert which equates a barren land and example of the barren tree which had to be cut down because it bore no fruit. Nothing good can come out it grin
