Is Nairaland a forum to spread false informations, rumours and all manner of lies? Its even more disheartening that the youths are culprits of the dastardly act. What re we preaching, what re we teaching, what re we learning and what do we stand to gain? Reading through the posts here, one can easily point out that we are not after whether the govt is corrupt or not, whether Nigeria is dying or not, all what we know is that PDP must rule, GEJ must rule and bla bla bla. That means we don't have any vision whatsoever for our beloved country, otherwise why would any sane man be happy if all these corrupt individuals still come back to become united in same evil PDP, anyway I guess its even the G7 governors that are bothering themselves with Nigerian issues, I know so many of you wring poos here can't or might never get to the level of the G7 instead you will be sinking with the country if it goes beyond this stage while the G7 will be fine with their family and loots somewhere around the globe. Think twice and be wise, also endeavour to do good and support a worthy course no matter.

Upgrading of the Enugu airport to international standard, is it Oduah's idea or the promise made by President GEJ during his campaign to ndi Igbo if they vote for him? I think the record should be made straight future reference purposes.
PoliticsRe: Photos Of Dino Melaye Expensive Cars by Desric(m): 1:03am On Oct 28, 2013
I believe why Nigerians usually resort to this form of "not only me" or "accusing the accusers" Damage control method is because they want to use every possible means at their disposal to justify their actions/corrupt tendencies especially when every arrow seems to be pointing at them.
I said this before, this Stella Oduah woman and her image launders have practically accused everybody that they can think of as behind her travail. Now it is Dino's turn right? What's the essence of bringing all these pictures, or are you trying to say hey look, Dino also uses porsche cars or what? Can two wrongs make a right? Maybe you want to buy public sympathy by telling the masses that Otunba Dino Melaye himself is also not a saint, but you guys forgot that Dino is not at the moment a public servant and might decide to go after any public servant that he deems fit with his anti-corruption network. If you guys are not comfortable with Dino, or if the allegations levelled against you is true, then feel free to resign and either join Dino in his anti-corruption network or better still establish your own anti-corruption network. It will even do Nigerians more good than harm if you guys start exposing your dirty little secrets and all the rots that's been going on in the public sector one by one, therefore I enjoin you to make hays while the sun shine, Resign now, or exonerate yourself from the allegations or forever shut your mouth. looking forward to read your insider report of fraud allegations against anybody maybe Mr President and his wife, join Dino in this crusade against corruption because we need more whistle blowers. According to Dino," You can not successfully fight corruption if you have never being part of it".
PoliticsRe: A Glance At Anambra Governor Candidates by Desric(m): 5:31pm On Oct 27, 2013
Ngige is bad, Ngige did this, Ngige did that, I don't know why Nigerians are always too quick to forget history or twist it to their own one minute favour. Anambrarians, please ask yourselves these questions,
1) If Ngige was/is as bad as you paint him, do you think he would have sacrificed his ego and all the glories that come with the office of the Governor to start a war that Liberated Anambra state from the shackles of godfathers and bring in Governor Obi?
2) If Ngige is as bad as you guys are painting him, do you think he would leave PDP? Almost all the people who left the PDP same time with him have in one way or the other moved back in there.
3) If Ngige is as bad as you paint him, how come he managed to defeat a almost saint in Nigerian politics Prof. Dora Akunyili in the last senatorial election?
4) Now ask yourselves this question, WHO IS DECEIVING WHO? Peter obi keep saying vote APGA for its a Igbo Party, while he is busy dinning and wining with the PDP day in day out instead of working very hard to establish his darling Igbo Party in at least the SE to become a true Igbo Party and a true Igbo leader. Now is he a PDP member or a APGA member because his actions doesn't show that he has any hope in his 'so-called' Igbo party any longer, otherwise he won't be running under the president like he is his PA on private matters. If we have conscience, now we will see the major reason why he and Victor Umeh worked tirelessly to scuttle the merger process of the APC at least in the SE, which reasonable person who loves Ananbra state and indeed the SE(Ndi Igbo) will work against the candidature of a former CBN governor of reputable standard Prof Charles Soludo only to opt for his former account officer and a former director in his personal bank, does that say good of a patriotic Igbo leader?

You keep saying Ngige went to a shrine, how many of you Anambrarians does not have or have not had a shrine in his/her family before let that person declare, you keep saying shrine as if shrine has suddenly become a taboo in igbo land, when we all know what it is and how useful it has always being to our people. Ngige rigged an election, if truly he rigged the election, then why did he fall out with those your slave masters who were holding Anambra to ransom and operating it as if it was there personal property?

Finally where were all of you and even Governor Obi and Willie when Ngige single handedly fought the cabal that cost him his mandate of completing his tenure as Anambra state Governor between 2003 to 2007? Or is it because the field is now level and calm that everybody is out now to enjoy without recognising those who fought the battle when others were no where to be found? Well " anasi na ala Igbo n'obu nwoke lusia ogu, nwanyi enwere akiko" meaning when the men finishes the fight, the women goes viral with the story, I think this is the case of Anambra state with Governor obi, willie Obiano, Victor Umeh and their cohorts.

henchamb: When sambo fashola and even speaker tambuwal visited their holy land dressed like those going to okija shrine. We didn't complain. Now why is this fo.ol making noise.
Nigerians will never cease to amuse me, of what purpose does GEJ tourist visit to Israel serve his Religious belief? It is a known fact from time immemorial that Muslims all over the world as a matter of compulsion in fulfilment of the laws and demands of Islam must visit their holy land of Makkah if they can afford it, just like baptism is to the Christian fold.
What the President and his cohorts have done is a big show of shame and disgrace, if he so loved to visit that land, he should have done that quietly and not in this jamboree and wasteful nature. If I may ask, who sponsored this journey and who approved the bill? Anyway, its like the Igbos are part of this jewish tribe, because they are always dependant like parasites, not having a say of their own always hiding under someone's cover, Hypocrisy, Mediocrity and sycophancy is their birthright and trade mark. Nigeria must be better someday if we do not break and divide that's my believe.
PoliticsRe: A Glance At Anambra Governor Candidates by Desric(m): 4:11pm On Oct 26, 2013
Listening and Reading to so many commentators talk and discuss Anambra state guber Election/Politics, you can see that the obstacle or the man at the centre of the whole charade in Anambra state election is 'Onwa' Sen. Chris Ngige. WHAT IS SEN. NGIGE's SIN?
It's not that he can not deliver, nor is it that he doesn't have what it takes to govern Anambra state. Sen. Chris Ngige's only sin and point of negative propaganda for his enemies and opponents alike is just and only that he is a member of the APC of which these same unscrupulous elements in their magnanimity and naivety tagged "Yoruba Party". The funny issue here is that the same people who act as if they hate the yoruba race more than they hate death attend the RCCG, Deeper life, Winners Chapel etc churches and hold their GOs in high esteem without minding that they are Yorubas, they live in Lagos, Oyo, and other yoruba states even to the extent of claiming ownership, if you depot them from these states, they will curse, lament and protest and claim one Nigeria. The same people claim they want a Igbo man to become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria but they don't want to do anything with a yoruba party right? Now if the six states of the SW decide to do away with anything Igbo, how possible will it be for the Igbos to realise this dream of becoming occupying that coveted seat of the President? Now in these cases, nothing will be wrong with the Yoruba race right?
I think people should be using their heads and emancipate themselves from mental slavery instead of this politics of lies and unfounded propagandas.

Orikinla: It is not how many times you pray or how many times people pray for you that matters, but how much you obey God that matters.
Not after praying and others have prayed, you still return to your hypocritical life of conceit and deceit fooling yourself and fooling ignorant people, but you cannot fool God.

If you like one million pastors and bishops and popes can pray for you, but until you obey God and do His will, it is nothing but ceremony, but a waste of time.

2 Timothy 3:1-7

King James Version (KJV)
3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.[/size]
And these virtues are not alien to the world because they have being there all through Bible history read from genesis, from Adam to Cain to Noah's time to Abraham, David, Solomon, Jesus etc so if these are the characters to determine the end time then the end time started from heaven... Think about God and Lucifer how they battled for supremacy, it was also end time sign ....

The cut was perfectly stiched and I can rock a bikini any day any time. I didn't have a swollen tummy like how people complain to have after having a CS.
God bless you for saying this, I think the problem most times is with the Cs operators, I know these days, that there upgraded advanced methods to perform a Cs, but very unfortunate that a lot hospitals and clinics does not still have the facilities and personnel to carry out this task thereby causing so much fear and panic for potential mothers who are booked for CS. My hearts goes to you mother the Op, just take your time and enjoy you bundle of joy, adhere to instructions and everything will be just fine within a short period of time.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastors & Imams Come To Consult Ifa – Ifayemi Elebuibon by Desric(m): 10:41am On Oct 26, 2013
Sir I salute you with the deepest, sincerity of respect, you are indeed the type of people we need in this country and continent. You just said everything as they are,, maybe if you are too greedy and want the people to accept you or even worship you, convert your works to a Christian church name and add everything or prayer you say " in the name of Jesus" then nobody will even care where you come from. You'll become the next private jet owner, a mini god, and a respected G.O, but because of your wisdom and love of God, you've remained where you are rendering service to the gods of our forefathers who saw our forefathers through, protected them and blessed them.
It's so painful that a very interesting article as this, our youths cannot devote a little time to read through it, they complain its too long showing how lazy we ve become as a people, we lack the zeal to learn, all we want to do is blind arguments based on sentimental, Regional lines, and that's why the whites were able to convert us very easily and we believe every single thing they present to us because we are too tired and lazy as a people to study for ourselves and try things on our own. Who said our Traditional Religion is bad, how did our forefathers survived and were able to live in peace and harmony, how come all the crisis we are having as a people started when these foreign religions invaded our land? Etc
May God continue to bless your wisdom and service to your God and humanity. Indeed I am very happy and proud that people can boldly talk about out Traditional Religions this way. If they doubt you sir, let all our leaders swear by the gods of our land and let's see how far they can still go on with their corrupt practices.

And mind you Olusola has been in the academic world for a very long time so he knows how things are run in the tertiary institutions and as well he is well exposed than them. Why will a Professor needs allowance to supervise a postgraduate students thats the number one responsibility of a professor. Is just like teachers requesting allowance to mark exam question papers of the subject they are teaching. that's How ridicule these lecturers can be. That's just one out of many stupid agreement FG went into. I pray FG answers ASUU.
Yes I agree with you 100%, he knows how things work very well and that's why his immediate family is living large abroad on the expense of the Nigerian masses. People like you should even be left to suffer more that is if you are still an undergraduate. If Prof. Adeyeye is too comfortable with situation of things here, then what is his family doing abroad? Bloody hypocrites. Even David Mark, he is among those who have left Nigeria in this dungeon, I think its time for him to retire and either stay abroad or keep quite when National Progressive issues are being discussed because he is either a Progressive or does he have any meaningful contribution to move the Nation forward. Think Gen. Sen, David Bonaventure Mark, think anti-people policies.

Christianity EtcRe: The Eckankar Cult In Nigeria (Africa) by Desric(m): 2:03pm On Oct 23, 2013
Ndipe: Jesus Christ is the Only Way to God Almighty. He Alone died and rose from the grave and resides forever and ever. The rest of the 'founders' of these groups all went the way of mortals and never came back. Read History and ask yourself this question, "Why has the Christian Religion persisted for the last 2 thousand years? Other groups, usually attain popularity but eventually, fade into sunset. Christianity has stood the test of time, Praise be to God in the Highest, Amen.
That's because Christianity is a very lucrative business of which if you can find a Church in the name of Jesus Christ then you can cajole people into turning you as a mini god and make you rich over night. Other organisations are not into massive. Evangelism(Campaign like) like Christianity. Take PDP in Nigeria for example why does people always run back to it no matter what, that's because with it, you are covered no matter who you are or the evil you commit. They control the sectors with their high hypocrisy and mediocrity. For more clarification, study the Bible very well and read Mathew 6:13-14~ Enter ye in at the strait gate: For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it... Mind you in verse 13 Christ said 'many goes in thereat', but in 14 He said 'few there be that find it' meaning that it takes the grace and wisdom of God to find the way to life because it is strait and narrow with few followers... For clearance purposes more, read on to verse 15 to 23. I'll stop here for now, AMORC simply means Ancient Mystical Order Rocia Cruxy. And I make proud to say that if the teachings of these Organisations are the only ones we have in the world, like Michael Learns to Rock said in one of his songs " There 'll no fighting and no wars, there'll be lasting peace in all the earth'. I am happy our youths are now patient to learn from different ideas and perspectives of life, Nigerians are usually allergic to CHANGE, we only adopt a change when a new change has superseded it.
I will stop here for now and MAY THE BLESSINGS BE.

"He whose house is on fire does not chase after rats" so our elders say. With all the crisis and decay rocking the Federal Republic of Nigeria, all the President can do is to pack his handful of sycophants on a spending spree and gallivanting rampage of tourism and picnic in the name of Pilgrimage. It is understandable that in islam, Pilgrimage to the holy land of Mecca is one of the major cardinal point of Islam as members are expected to fulfil this ritual as a matter of compulsion to their faith. What does Pilgrimage to Jerusalem mean to a Christian other than site seeing, luxury, picnic and most probably a simple tour.
With all due respect Mr President, sometimes you amuse me with your actions as they all point you to the direction of cluelessness because you appear to be lost and overwhelmed by the demands of the exalted office you occupy.

That is if he is a Christian, btw, its like Jesus is more powerful and popular than God in the Christiandom, Please I stand to be corrected, a Christian involves Jesus in almost every activities of his life and little of God. Maybe because God is for everybody while Jesus is only for them, btw, everybody enjoys playing solo and owning an identity.

why is it that anytime an allegation is levelled against the govt in power, a similar allegation will raise against APC chieftains?
If its not Rochas, it will be Buhari, if it is not BRF, it will be Tinubu etc.
Can't they address the issue raised clearly or exornorate themselves completely from the allegation instead of a counter allegation against innocent people?
Cheap blackmail and propaganda, thats why immediately the APC chieftains visited Borno and Yobe states, that was when the Presidency had the courage to do same. No wonder they call this Govt clueless, their actions are mostly childish and insensitive.
Foreign AffairsRe: Saudi Arabia Rejects Seat On UN Security Council by Desric(m): 1:19pm On Oct 18, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: So because a country pulled out of the football world cup because of its own peculiar situation, Nigeria or other countries should not celebrate their qualification for the same event despite the hardwork of the football team?

Nigeria has every reason to celebrate her winning a seat at the UN non-permanent security council. She worked and fought for it and deserves to celebrate her victory.

More over, if the stakes were not high, Saudi Arabia would not have made a show of pulling out. The pulling out itself was to send a strong signal of disenchantment with how certain situations have been handled. And the higher the stakes, the stronger the signal.
Nigeria can never reject any offer as long as it comes from the international community, if you read the statement of their voting, you'll understand that they (Nig) might have even lobbied for the seat. Because we celebrate mediocrity a lot, we'll even beg for any international offer at least it ll help the hypocritic Govt in power to score a cheap Political point that they are working and that Nigeria is progressing and being recognised by the international community. BTW, why is our Progress report always coming from the outside and not within or are Nigerians very dumb and daft that they can recognise a progressive Govt on their own when they see one?
