Billionaires: That is what happens when a Governor can not manage his own state, he stubbornly disobeyed the PDP leadership in his state and was suspended alongside some state house of assembly members. So, apparently, PDP can not help him with this. He can no longer manage his own state but he is thinking about managing Abuja. This is just a prove that pride goes before a fall. I can assure you, that since PDP suspended the other members, those 5 can legitimately impeach the government, cos I am very sure that the impeachment must have been communicated to the State chapter of PDP before it was authorized and the court will always respect the decision of the PDP State Chapter. Amaechi needs to kneel down and beg, cos he made so many strategic enemies, from his own cousin he uprooted to his former allies. Pride goes, fall comes! HahahahahahahaYou are as ignorant as the PDP, please what do you mean by "PDP can not help him on this one" so PDP do help in illegalities? No wonder Nigeria is comfortably multiplying in CORRUPTION. so if PDP suspends the Assembly members from their party that automatically means that they have suspended them from being members of the state house of assembly? Were they voted in by only your 'so-called' PDP members,or are they representing just the PDP members in their various constituencies? Or have you forgotten that as elected members, only the house has the power to suspend them or their various constituencies to recall them if need be? Little wonder how naïve and myopic your reasoning is, it's even more disheartening to know that you are a youth as well, pls try and learn and emancipate yourself from your mental slavery, because as they say, "knowledge is Power" I think it is quite obvious how the PDP thinks, how they chide themselves as Nigeria, how they turn all the rules in reverse orders, you are a real PDP product my dear and until people like you are properly educated and well tutored, we can never have peace in this Nation. PDP thrives only in an unjust society, without violence how can there be a PDP, it's your trademark and 2015 is by the corner, how else can we know that PDP is still alive if not by their catcata, mago-mago and senseless silly misconceived show of shame and desperado arrogance. Please my dear, start studying and see how you can make amends from your naïve state of mind, I know the only way you can measure your success with your thinking is by sending your kids to school abroad, sending your wife to shop abroad, driving on the latest automobiles and been awarded fictitious and over inflated contracts at the detriment of the citizens. I know you are a christian so I wonder what you do learn in church, that is if you ve not already asked your pastor to pray for violence in the state so that you will satisfy your selfish ego. The most painful part of it is that the number of people who are thinking like you are greater to those with sound mind and mentality thereby making a huge task and problem to sanitise and sensitize our people on the right ways to go. I see Nigeria travailling in the end. May God save us. |
I am not surprised at all, by the way if people like you are not properly educated, I don't see Nigeria making any progress because its only people like you that can be used for such ignorant, senseless, selfish protests. I weep for our country if such myopic naïve persons like you are not educated. Like they say, "A child miseducated is a child lost" but not only a child lost but as we can see, its a Nation lost because before long, such miseducated child will grow to become a nuisance to the society and if care is not taken, might hijack the processes and good intentions of the people as Violence tends to pay more faster and quickly in an unjust society. let's be wise Naija Youths and do the right things now to save our future and that of our unborn generations, two wrongs they say can never make a right, let's shun violence, crime, illegality, hypocrisy, nepotism, and sentimental judgements. Rather, let us embrace peace, unity, patriotism, sound judgement and tolerance. Nigeria belongs to all of us not just the leaders or the President as such everybody's right should be guaranteed and the rule of law practised at every circumstances no matter whose arms it will break. May God help us. Billionaires: State of Emergency should be imposed on Rivers State and Amaechi sacked immediately. |
noblezone: This is a mock news of the events in rivers State.it's even a more bigger shame that whenever somebody somewhere comes into or touches anything, Crises becomes the other of the day . 1. Somebody somewhere intervened in Bayelsa state and so many irregularities took place and the result is a copy and paste Governor today, 2. Somebody somewhere intervened on the NGF election and democracy became minority carries the vote, the result is a divided NGF with the minority faction leader been recognised by the same somebody somewhere while the Majority leader is jettisoned just because his face is not loved by this Goliath. 3. Somebody somewhere intervened on the PDP and today the result a party in Disarray. 4. Today, the wind of Same somebody somewhere is In River State and as his usual stock in trade, the state is definitely enjoying the proverbial Breath of fresh air. Nevertheless, like a cursed child, anywhere this somebody somewhere goes with his wind, something unpleasant must take place, anything he touches becomes automatically useless, we have tried to endure this evil wind/breath, maybe we need to cleanse our land from this evil spirit that goes with this somebody somewhere. May God help us. |
Abagworo: Chidi Lloyd was on vengeance to his own earlier hit. Jonathan is the man that needs to be impeached for attempting to use 5 men against 22 to impeach a speaker. This is a tip of the iceberg with what is going to happen in 2015. You cannot win oly 30% and declare yourself winner and sponsor killing of youth corpers to gain sympathy. It won't work and there will rather be war than the will of the people suppressed. God bless Nigeria. If there was a way to like your comment a million times, believe me I will not blink an eyelid to do so. The OP is clear where he stands, but as they say two can never work together except they agree, so darkness and light have nothing in common. Nigerians cannot expect a Government built on lies and deceit to perform wonders as one can only give what he has. Last night in the National news of NTA, it was said that the RHA Speaker has been impeached, you ask yourself by who? Even the clip they showed was very ridiculous, and again you ask yourself who is writing all these scripts that people are playing? It is quite pitiable to hear people say that Amaechi should respect the office of the President but I am yet to understand how and what they mean by that. When has it become a crime to have a say of your own? What is happening in River state today is regrettable as one man wants to assume the Alpha and Omega of Nigeria, I hear people saying if it was OBJ, but they are also forgetting that Orji Uzor Kalu then Governor of Abia State dug it out with Obj and till today he is still working a free man. Nigerian youths learn to be wise, don't make illegality legal just because you have one quick stand of benefit to gain from it, the future and posterity will always remember what everyone did, even those who sponsored the october 1 bombing and Boko haram, will definitely be known someday as nothing is hidden under the sun for too long maybe then, we shall know the Angels and the Devils. I think this Government is a typical picture of the saying the Devil you know is better than*******. |
I support Oliseh full time, and like he rightly said, " with such crop of players(home based) we can only play well but we can't win matches. Which is evident in the way we played against Tahiti, Spain, and Uruguay, like 7up will usually say "the difference is clear") Its all about simple tactics and Technicality combined with experience. Barcelona do play all the football and still lose to very sound Technically Disciplined team. Keshi is doing fine no doubt but he should also learn to heed to advice and learn from constructive criticisms instead of making an issue out of every single thing that one says or turning it into a quarrel, even if one wants your job and raises salient points on where you are not doing too well, courtesy demands that you pick the facts raised and still focus on your job, that will make you a even more better manager and person, let you talk be in your match results like you did in the AFCON of which you saw the benefits of surprises because that's the way to be a successful leader. He can't be making enemies everywhere and still expect to succeed. For me, I think Oliseh is way more matured compare to all the persons that I ve seen clash with Keshi in this recent past. All the points he raised are all true no lies at all there, you can't compare our league of 90's and today in terms of the quality and standard both in officiating and raising of stars they are way two different things lacking in comparison. We should all learn to be patient and learn from every given opportunity as no man is an island of Knowledge. May God help us. |
Princess zoe: May God have mercy upon your perverted belief for no man is polygamous in nature. Who told you that? The almighty God who created heaven and earth and human, made adam and made only eve and finally joined the two as one flesh. May God have mercy upon your wife, children and generation because if you keep harbouring that devilish belief and went into adultery to get certificate in it, you will bring reproach upon yourself as david did just because of "one stand" of adultery. Meanwhile mediate on proverbs 6 verses 32-33, lest i forgot, you will reap every single seed whether moral or immoral, that you have sown. Goodluck!and that is why most of die in heart break, so if truly there is nothing you can do nko? Then advice the woman to tell her friend to divorce but don't tell me she should be praying about it cos that doesn't have a time frame, otherwise its as good as either enduring or accepting your fate. The guy might be right because at least 80% of men do cheat, don't swear for your hubby cos he might just be the head and good at the game as most men do. Be wise, the woman should have tried the formula of making the man spend more with her other than tapping his phone for whatever reason. My final warning is that she should be very careful else she destroys her family with her own hands. No human, I repeat no human is and will ever be a saint as long as he/she breaths this same breath and shares in this same planet. Be wise |
Big boy Tony, flex nothing do u! I like your style and carriage in fact I will always fan you any day any time. |
How real and how True is these pictures and story, if indeed it is the Truth, which cell or Prison yard is this? we need facts here, because this is an emergency matter and as such we should not be waiting for any media house to make it an issue for us, because its already as worst as it can be, and that on its own is already an issue. We are the youths and leaders of today not tomorrow, we ve to help our generation. We are spending our time, resources, and energy everyday online, on the social media, we aren't joking here, we are doing serious business. I beg the OP to please give us more facts on this issue so that we can call the attention of the relevant authorities. Once it goes viral on social media, even President Barrack Obama of the USA wouldn't have any choice than to react, thank you. |
mobuch: It was not easy to come by at that time, but it was quite easy to access and raise that fund; am sure if elumelu's and ovia's were ttrying to start a bank in our era of 25 billion capital base, they would have found it extremely difficult and impossible to raise that fund. There are still a lot of young chaps with the mindset of those guys who want to start up new banks in our era but the capital requirements is a very serious barrier.I will still ask this question to you, since you know all this much, what's the name of your company and what are you into? pls let me know how you got your capital because thats my major problem right now, all i need is just about 2 to 10million naira, anyone that comes first i ve got lots of business ideas to invests on with nice locations. i dont have job yet and i dont know any oga at the top but i am a graduate accountant with a b.sc(hons). anybody with funding capacity can contact me on ihemdyke25@yahoo.com. |
Empero1: This is a masterpiece! The most sensible contribution on this subject matter . More wisdom to you bro .since you know all these things, then why is your name not in the forbe's billionaire list or are you over aged? |
My dear they ve not really answered the OP's question, where were these guys before they became the celebrities that they are today, what were their background? Who were their parents? because I ve come to understand that most of these early millionaires in Nigeria especially those of the 80's and 90's do have either a favourable background or they benefited from the Corrupt Military era Largesse. Please if anyone has a concise profile of these guys, I am interested and will appreciate the information. Most times when you read about most Nigeria Millionaires profiles, you hardly can point their break even point, all you read or hear is how they ve become mega billionaires please advice and motivate the youths who wants or aspires to be like you in a positive way by telling us how u accessed your first capital, which I bet might be very difficult to say capital because in most cases you must find corruption or Government patronage. Ibeto, Innoson, Ekene dili Chukwu, Tonimas etc are some examples of some self made millionaires if I am not mistaken, but the ones the OP mentioned, pls we need more info. Afam4eva: +1000 |
And that's why most of you will remain poor while the pussy rots six feet down below someday while your kids starts up same way with same mentality. Use what you have and get what you want. After some people will be blaming and cursing their uncles, aunties, brothers, sisters, cousins etc that they are wicked and does not want to help when you can not do what they did to move away from the shackles of poverty. Everybody is calling on Jesus, when nobody wants to sacrifice but wants to gain 100% from other peoples sacrifices. If God was stingy with his only son, or if Jesus was selfish, how will the world have gotten a saviour or salvation. Its only when you take the risk that you will join the Millionaires o. If you doubt me go and study the life of Abraham in the Bible who has to give his own wife and even his only son just to get favour and today everybody is celebrating him and calling him father of many nations. Be wise and make no mistakes, call it desperation or whatever, as they say necessity is the mother of all inventions. So if it wasn't necessary, nobody will even think of inventing anything. Now I see the reason why 50cent said "get rich or die trying" invariably, the ball is on your court and your destiny is in your hands. |
O'boy this woman fine guu, her bobby na die. If you no like am I beg go hug transformer. by the way wetin make we dey were cloth? no be because say Adam and Eve wise com no say them naked? Still we still dey talk say them sin, if u believe say Adam and Eve no suppose eat that fruit then u no get any business to wear cloth because na naked wey people wey no like wetin Adam nd Eve suppose to de dey. So the Woman of God dey right guuuuuuu. |
Hey Naija! Must everything become a fight or can't you see that this is just a mere joke? I just dey laf for hong kong sef. This GEJ and Dame sympathisers make una take am easy abi na as dem de talk am say like master like subordinates... Una too like fight and quarrel for una group why na? Na jeje jeje life dey go o. |
With all due respect His Excellency sir, you are not practising what you are preaching because I am very much aware that all the Governors in Nigeria 'except Rochas Okorocha of Imo state' collects the evil wicked and heartless security vote no matter how poor the economy of their state is of which you are one of them so what did you do to curb excessive waste of public funds and what are the impacts of your savings or recoveries of those funds in the state. It is not enough to tell us how much we've recovered from Abacha's loots, the fact should be what have we done with it and or where is the money invested? My dear Governor, we ve seen people like you in the past, I presume what you mean by quitting politics is that you will not contest elections again, because I know you are very cunning and cautious so you will be doing well with political appointments rather than contest elections. Sen. Anyim Pious Anyim towed that line and today, he is now counting his blessings. You all are one and the same people, we need selfless patriotic leaders who will understand that a good name is far much better than silver and gold... Take Bayelsa state for instance, everyday the Governor keep touting about savings he has made from the leakages in the cost of running the Government but still go to the state today, there is no visible project to match the amount of touting he is making. In Nigeria, we have lots of noise makers in the name of freedom fighters, human rights and good governance activists but all of them are all wolves in sheep clothing. What we need is just the that we can see. |
Ordinarily, one would want to believe that those making their contributions here are great youths of our dear great Nation including the OP, come to think of it, can't we just for ones make constructive criticisms and or render qualitative advice, other than to call people names and render abuses on personalities on the line of religious or political sentiments instead of addressing the problems? Aren't we old enough to be civilised and respect one another no matter what the issues are? Hey! Guys let's come off it, the social media is not a place for the youths to quarrel and tow the line of our predecessors rather let's celebrate ourselves here, make constructive arguments, and render proper advice as well as unite for Development and the advancement of our Democracy and Economy. |

What is the Governor always doing with large sums of money in Cash(Local and Foreign)? Nevertheless, I suspect that this man does not treat his staff very well as such they ve found that if they don't play a fast one on him, they might end up going empty handed after all while the Oga at the Top and his Family feeds fat on the loot from Akwa Ibom State treasury. He should have a rethink and change his style instead of continually changing his staff and aids. |
There are no permanent enemies or friends in politics just like in a football match or a case in the law court. therefore, this is just a show to tell the world that they are not enemies rather they have differences in their ideas and ambitions. A true Democratic spirit invoked by both parties I think it is a very laudable one, after all politics is not a do or die affair and should not be seen as such, a spirit of fair play and a display of good sportsmanship. This is what I have always been longing to see, a day when our politicians will see themselves as brothers and play the game in a very mature manner after all, Election is for the purpose of bringing the best candidate to lead in the best interest of the state and not a struggle to loot our treasury for personal gains. The earlier we start living this way the better it will be for us. |
I think it is very important that we note here that these people are interim members drawn from the five major political parties merging, the ACN, CPC, ANPP, a faction of APGA and DPP. I guess the OP is very conversant with the formation of these political parties and the stronghold of their Locations. Needless to say that it is on Record that most people involved in this merger are all Muslims and I hope the OP is not expecting them to come to his house and award an appointment to him or whoever that is sponsoring him. For me I want to believe that they acted in the best interest of the party and within the jurisdiction of the resources available to them. I think APC should be applauded for coming this far amicably instead of this cheap blackmail and negative publicity... If they ve bn disorganised before now, same people would have said yes that's their way, that it was impossible for anyone to assume or believe that Tinubu and Buhari would ever work together... Now that the impossible is becoming possible, enemies of progress have seen that the Interim Exco are mostly Muslims. Like the late High maestro Osadebe said in one of his songs "if you chop them go talk, if you no chop them go still talk, na wetin man go do for this world wey people no go talk, so make we just dey do wetin dey for our mind, because na so world want am" OP, if you are a Christian, I think its an opportunity and chance for you and your group to join the APC with your team and fill in the gaps and make room for the Religious equity that you now want, you will be very very welcomed... Nigeria is in deep trouble, if it is not Religious sentiment today, it will be tribal or ethnic, if it is not it will be political parties, when will we ever see things from very patriotic and neutral angle devoid of Nepotism? As they say, only time will tell. |
The budget alone and secret service personnel that follow the american first lady is a mincemeat when compared with that of Gej. Don't underestimate the power of ACN propoganda machinery[/quote]even though you might be right to an extent, but it ll also be of use to inform you that the US first Lady hardly carries herself in the unnecessary and irrelevant ways that we see here, radical abuse of power, senseless speeches and wasteful expeditions and jamborees. Maybe you should do a more thorough research and draw your comparisms from there. As for ACN propaganda machinery, without them, Democracy will just be useless. So to attract less criticisms, the Government in power must have to be up and doing and live up to the expectation of the masses and do away with too many myopic senseless dumb excuses on all issues raised. They should sit up and be proactive. |
Sometimes I wonder, if Nigerians are truly patriotic, what are they still doing with the People's Democratic Party. I don't see any reasonable person with Nigeria's Progress in mind having anything to do with this menace called PDP. Always Lawless and undemocratic. |
Imagine the kind of names associated with the Administration of BREATH OF FRESH AIR. Maybe only a child born in 2013 will believe that there is any sanity or vision left in this present Administration because the little glory remaining for Nigeria as a Nation has far left the country because of incessant unprecedented corruption, illegality and abuse of power and the rule of law, massive impoverishment of our people and youth unemployment as well as chaos and insecurity all over the Nation due to lack of vision and clueless Government. Maybe or unless we will allow them Rig the Elections in 2015 as usual otherwise PDP's dominance in Nigerian Politics is better off history as it stands now. |
I applied, but not through work force though, my center is port harcourt as well but I've not gotten any text or email yet. Pls do u have any clue? chomzy38: mine is ph on wednesday,26th june, rivers state university of science & tech ICT center. time-1.30pm |
For me I think they are not serious and in fact they are just doing the WAMI thing out of idleness and lack of vision. Because serious issues like this should not be disclosed or made public just on the occasion of a courtesy call by a group of individuals... Looking at the time frame of 2015 and the magnitude of the project activities involved before finally arriving to the single currency implementation on all member states, I think its not realisable with the nature of things going on in the region and their diverse economic policies and standards. Therefore I regard it as a mere rhetoric by the "so-called" West African Monentry Institute. Maybe when they get serious, we ll also know. |
That is visionary Leadership in action, a good leader must take responsibilities and not apportion blame at every single opportunity. Listen to Mr President's speech on the one year memorial of DANA air crash and Governor Fashola's, then you can tell the difference between a prepared leader and an unfortunate one. |
I support the abolition of the State and LG joint account and the approval of LG autonomy from the State, some people say the funds will be embezzled by the council Chairmen, I think its better that the citizens of the council knows who to hold accountable for their funds, let all tiers of Government grow together in the advancement of democracy in our nation. Secondly, the abolition of the SIEC is a very fragile one, I want to believe that the country will not be held hostage by the Government in power in the centre? the Abuja politicians should not hijack this nascent bill, Nigerians, we know how to abuse every institution, we just find our way to abuse it no matter how sacred. I pray this won't be another disaster by the NASS and the Party in the Centre. Only time will tell. For those clamouring for state creation being unable to meet up the criteria, this is just to show how ignorant and careless we are as a people, otherwise how can one go for a serious, monumental, constitutional request as crucial and important as the creation of a state without meeting up or having the idea of the detailed qualifications for such demands? Yet, these are men and women that we hold in reverence and very high esteem, men and women we must times refer to as "timbers and calibres", cream d la cream of our society, yet they can't fulfil such a simple task as small as to meet up required documents and signatures for the creation of states. This is to show why we are where we are. Clueless, retarded, visionless, and lawless individuals parading themselves as Leaders, maybe they thought its business as usual, where states are been allocated on the basis of sentiments rather than merit. |
Cleverly brother, the truth is that the average Ibo man is a mediocre, I ve said it times and again, Ibos are extremely scared of taking responsibilities, most times, all they want is just for the now, they don't like long term investments or sacrifice. I ve heard people talk about ibos voting against ibos, that's not true, there is what is called right or perfect timing in everything you do. Our timing in the National political landscape is most times if not always wrong. An Ibo man is regularly complaining of marginalisation and killing, still there is no remote village or community in Nigeria no matter how interior that you will not find an Ibo man, now ask yourself, what is he doing there and how is that place better than his own hometown? The truth is that an average Ibo man shares this sentiment that there is nothing good in his home, therefore, an average Ibo man can not make money in his own Village. How can you have a say when you make people believe that you can't survive without living in someone else's hometown. Ibos are very jealous people, they take pleasure in having a total stranger succeed instead of you their own brother. How can they support Rochas so that people will say that it was Rochas that led the revolution? Everybody wants to be the arrow head, check out our governors, from Governor T.A Orji, Martins Elechi, Peter Obi, maybe Sullivan, I ve not really studied him, these guys are opportunists and push overs who will fall for anything just to be in the good books of the Oga at the top. Bottom line, Ibos are not ready yet to take up responsibilities. until they grow and learn how to be responsible, they are still very far from the place everybody expects in National politics of Nigeria. Clerverly: Having the materials is quite different from actualizing it Nne. My questions remains, why can't we play the opposition for once and show this what we can do when boxed to the corner? Does it mean that whoever assumes that position comes to implement our own Agenda? |
When will you grow up and learn to be more civilised and polite in making your comments without abusing or insulting somebody else? The last time I checked, we are in the 21st century and as such women of your age are striving to become reasonable and responsible as to position themselves for the challenges of gender inequality around the globe[or maybe that might be an abomination in your religion as well]. They can't achieve that by becoming or making a public nuisance out of every topic as you just did. Wake up and contribute your own meaningful quota to the advancement and growth of humanity instead of wasting your precious time on irrelevant mediocrity. Since you can afford to spend your time, energy and resources to comment on issues like this, why not make it worth the while? What is worth doing is worth doing well. peppy luv: tel that to mallam lamido sanusi lamido |
