adenigga:Talasse, Balanga LG, that's the LGA I served as a youth corps member in 08/09. How time flies. |
immortalcrown:No wahala, shebi its VAT; let's see who is going to bear the burden of the tax. |
CaptainFM1:Can't you see you're contradicting yourself? Is it not when they work at the site late into the night or even overnight that it'll become difficult for thieves from using the site as their hideout? |
Do you know the cost implications of forward integrating? BlackyOne: |
ajibolaayo3115:Wa gbayi. You sabi joor. I'm surprised nobody mentioned his name since. |
ArcSEMPECJ:Now you are talking. I think the questions peeps should be asking are: What is her motive for killing him? Why did she have a knife in her possession at that moment? Who was the friend that linked him with the deceased? Why did Chidinma conceal her identity while making the reservation? Does she have anything to gain from his death? Who benefits the most from the man's death? His wife? His Business Associate? A Friend? Does the deceased have business dealings with anyone, that is enmeshed with issues? Why is the wife silent about the whole scenario? Is there something the wife knows that nobody knows? Who is Chidinma working for? The Police needs to dig further to unravel a lot of hidden secrets cos as far as I'm concerned, the murder was well planned ahead of time by someone who stands to benefit a lot from Ataga's demise; not Chidinma. She's just playing a script. |
This is QR Code not Barcode. Even in the new uniform, he still looks like a tout. |
Your dad should have known how to load airtime for his mum (your grandma) via his Bank App, Telco Service Provider App, Baxi, Palm Pay + a plethora of online platforms where airtime can be recharged seamlessly. If he's really a "big" man (as you claimed), then he ought to have been recharging his mum's MSISDN frequently (remotely) without allowing her to run out of airtime. |
500,000 daily Haba, not even 50,000. How many passengers per trip and how many trips per day would amount to 500,000 passengers per day. They just fabricate figures anyhow. |
Charmingrascal:Or Garri and Cassava? |
You remind me of Badagry Grammar School (BGS) in the 90's. How will I ever forget the chief of them all, Mr Oyekunle (aka Oye Marshal) and his buddy Mr Amolegbe. These 2 had Phd in flogging. Other notable mentions include: Mr Peters (Lit-in-Eng), Mr Elias (Maths), Mr Jimoh (Intro Tech, Mr Senu Amosu (Maths), Mr Idowu (Agric), Mr Femi Solola (Eng Lang), Mrs Padonu (Maths and Further Maths), Mr Omoruwa (Maths, Phy and Further Maths), Mr Emepuru (Chemistry), Mr Ayeni (Intro Tech), Mr Ajao (Vice Principal), etc Those days, we feared (and revered) our teachers more than our parents and uncles. |
uvie66:Nope, i beg to disagree. laws need not be draconian to elicit compliance. There are times you violate the law innocently. You can drive to a location you're not familiar with and enter one-way unknowingly. Agreed, ignorance of the law is no excuse but then the penalty should have a human face. It is not all violators that do it intentionally. Your car can just decide to develop an electrical issue while on 3MB or any other highway and you'll be in a panic mode. I shouldn't pay thru my nose or lose my vehicle cos my vehicle developed fault all of the sudden or I had flat tyre. Your officers should at least offer assistance and i can still be made to pay a mild fine. Wait until you be at the receiving end then you'll know how painful this is. |
hush15:Go to most of the major Bus-Stops/Road interceptions and see the kingly life LASMA, KAI & LSNC officers live. They collect bottled water (sometimes pet drinks) from these hawkers for FREE. They collect beef rolls & other snack from the hawkers for free. Anytime a sachet water (popularly known as "pure water" truck/van passes a junction, they must collect one bag from those guys. I was descending the Iyana-Ipaja bridge about 2 weeks ago (enroute Egbeda) and as I about about approaching the Iyana-Ipaja roundabout, i just caught a glipse of a LASMA officer walking towards these kids selling cooked groundnut. The next thing I saw was that he dipped his fist into the girl's tray and packed a handful of groundnut, walked away and started eating them one-by-one. I just opened my mouth and was like WTF did I just witnessed now? Those guys live like dons and see whatever they do as the norm. To them, the law empowers them to do anyhow. |
HarlequinLekex:Did you read what you just typed? Does it make any sense to you? If a vehicle breaks traffic rule, all you need do is radio your fellow officers ahead giving description of the vehicle so that it can be apprehended or you allow the security cameras do their work; after all we have cameras in most places in Lagos now or are they not working? What if in the process of plying one-way in a bid to "enforce arrest of a supposed violator" and they have a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle? Two wrongs they say, don't make a right. You don't commit an anomaly to correct an anomaly. |
fuke:And does that include LASTMA/KAI/LSNC Vans? What rescue mission are they going for? Last time I checked, their job is to ONLY direct traffic when there are bottlenecks (to ensure free flow of traffic). They are never trained as paramedics or firefighters or LRU officers. Same applies to officials of LASG driving either their private cars or the MDAs' utility vehicle/tool of trade; they flout traffic laws with impunity knowing fully well that nobody will reprimand them. What about politicians in their convoy or wealthy individuals that either ply one-way or use BRT lane in order to beat traffic? Have ever seen LASTMA or LASG Task Force apprehend them? We see these everyday but its only few individual private car owners that are usually the scapegoat. Drive from Bolade to Ikeja Along in the evening (during rush hour with the heavy traffic) and see how some "selected" vehicles either ply one way or use the BRT lane and the LASTMA & LASG Task force (stationed around the Airport corridor) will still allow them to pass. |
HarlequinLekex:Were you in their van when the incident happened or they specifically told you that they plied one-way to arrest stubborn violators (on 3MB for that matter). Besides we all see LASTMA, KAI, LSNC vans ply one-way or use BRT lane either on our way to the office or on our way home (when the traffic is so heavy). Same thing applies to LASG officials (working at either Alausa or any of LASG agencies) - they ply one-way or use the BRT lane whenever there's traffic while displaying/hanging their ID Cards on the rear view mirror. The application of the law should not affect some peeps while others act with impunity. The only exception here is Fire Trucks and Ambulances (if there's an emergency) |
Not trying to defend drivers that ply one-way though but how come LASTMA, KAI, POLICE, MILITARY Officers, LASG staff, politicians do not get their vehicles impounded when they ply one way or are traffic laws meant for private car owners only? The law should not segregate who gets punished. many times we see the aforementioned drive through one-way or BRT lane and nothing happens. The only exception i think (if need be) is for Fire Trucks, Ambulances (if they have an emergency and there's traffic) and bullion vans (if need be i.e. if its stuffed with cash and there's fear that an attack can take place while in the traffic). even at that, this should be coordinated by traffic officers. |
YeyeGbami:Nah. LASU - Iba Road was Rehabilitated and Expanded by Fashola. |

beautyhd:Food inside Banana Island is even cheap cos there's no single standard restaurant inside Banana Island, not to talk of Eatery. You can only find all these local women (mama put) selling rice, beans, fufu, eba, noodles, etc (similar to what you see in the "trenches) to these daily paid labourers (working at construction sites inside Banana Island). There's one beside Airtel HQ and there's one at a place called "waterside". If you want to form posh, you can only order your meal online and it'll be delivered. |
Bbsharon:I was there on 29th April, 2022 while on an official engagement to my company's offices in all the six (6) states of the South-South Zone. TBVH, i was heart-wrecked when i got there. I even saw the Monorail and other abandoned facilities as well. They just allowed that laudable project that would have fetched the state billions of Naira to waste away. I also have some pictures.

obaaderemi:In my area i.e. Iju-Ishaga axis, its between #450 - #480 at regular Filling Stations and #500 - #550 at those shops selling gas. |
Shetemi12:Lies!!! He is actually cashing in on Baba Ijesha's predicament to make money and increase his already dwindled fame. To be very honest, that movie was unnecessary. |
ensamy:And she involuntarily withdrew money from the deceased account after murdering him, abi? All that is needed is an autopsy establishing that she drugged the man with a sedative in order to weaken him, and she'll swing. |
topboss:So there are no prostitutes or call girls in the UK and US? |
Hezmatosky:Then you'll automatically become a suspect. That action alone looks like trying to bury the case because as the wife, you are an interested party that has a lot to gain from the man's demise. A very good crime investigator/detective would beam his searchlight on you. |
Seems op has comprehension issues or he intentionally wants to be mischievous. According to the video, TB Joshua never "predicted" his death when he said he won't be celebrating his coming birthday. He only said there's no point celebrating his birthday when some of his members are being adversely affected by the current issues being faced by everyone globally. Kind of a sign of humility in solidarity of whatever his members are facing worldwide. Stop misleading others please. |
jagorinho:Prof. Wole Soyinka actually did an English translation titled "A forest of a thousand demons" |
