All I will want to suggest is that be the best in what you do and if the opportunity comes, then you move.

Besides, wherever you are, unless you don't want to be an active player in that industry that is the only situation in which you won't improve your qualifications. Therefore, I am of the opinion that you start building a career in a unit of your choice and write every necessary exams that leads to advancement in that career.

Finally, if it is for the money, then I will want to disappoint you by saying it doesn't make a difference. The reason is because, irrespective of how much you earn, you may still remain poor. To me, poverty is a thing of the mind and not the amount of money you have. This in essence implies that, if you do not have a good savings and investment habit, irrespective of what you earn, your status remains same.

Remember in economics, for a closed economy model without gouvernment intervention,
Income (Y) = C + S where C = Consumption and S = Savings, also

(Y) = C + I where C = Consumption and I = Investment,

equating both equations above shows to you that S = I. (Though in an open ecomomy there are some differences as both are dependent on different rate of interest and marginal propensity).

Therefore, with the little money you are earning, learn how to save and invest as such, in the nearest future, you will be able to stand tall beside those who earn more irrespective of the differences in the physical cash.

Things have gone worse cos the girls people said they don't take their children with pregnancy and yet they don't want her to have the baby. My parents will be back on Sunday and daddy said he won't mind sueing them. But I am quite scared because of the picture this might have on the family image.

Things had taken a worse turn around.

The woman who brought her to us came yesterday and said the girl's people said they don't take back their children with pregnancy. I wonder what is wrong with these Benionese as though we forced their daughter into it. She dey sneak go out for night go chop sweet things, she foregt say sweet things dey kill.

Please advise as the lady that brought her is suggesting abortion which i am very sure my parents won't support.

Thanks for the responses so far. But the issue is getting more complicated. Mum just called and I explained the situation of things to her. she said she is going to call the family doctor to come put her in the custody of his hospital.

Thank God I am free from unnecessary worries cos I am still trying to imagine why the silly thirty something year old bros will do that to a girl below 18.

Please Help me cos I am confused as per wat to do.

I am the 1st child of the family and I have 3 younger ones (A guy n 2 girls). Our parents had to travel out of the country on Wednessday and won't be back till next 2 weeks Friday.

However, it was discovered that our maid was pregnant on Tuesday and mumsy called the person that brought us the maid. She promised coming to pick her up for now but she is yet to come. The problem I am having now is that she is seriously vomitting and my younger ones are going back to school on Monday and I am never at home because I don't come back most times till around 10pm.

My youngest sister said she begged her for money yesterday which she gave her and she used the money to buy a small bottle of chelsea. Now I don't know what to do since she claimed it was my neighbour's nephew that impregnated her. Funny enough, the guy is a tailor and it's been a long time I last saw him. Sincerely, it was hard to believe when I heard cos she was always asleep whenever I get home and besides, I am so sure there is no means by which she can see the guy cos they have a busy shop in front of their house and the shop doesn't close earlier than 10pm daily as such, how could they have been doing it?

I am of the opinion that she goes there ever morning or probably I take her to the hospital the family uses and keep her on admission till my parents return 'cos my mum couldn't afford to loose her trip since it was her leave period and dad went on business purpose.

Please advice me before I make a wrong decision.

I may not have much to say and may not sound reasonable to all but I want to say I will advise you rather go to school. The truth is your education will surely open doors for you. I want to let you know that there are jobs out here its just that we have a fewer qualified people. Qulaification not in the class fof degree but in the individual. The truth really is you are what you see yourself to be. And that is why a whole lot of graduates are roaming about because they never believe they can get the rightful job.

i will want to say its not about the grade but rather the individual. if access bank for instance says they wont admit those below 2:1 into their school of banking dont we have 3rd class holders in many other banks? besides, dont we have enough 1st class graduate still searching for jobs?
let us all therefore focus on God and hold to an high esteem what we have afterall, some of our mates were choked out of school. for 2:2 graduates and HND lower credit minimum graduates, we wlcome you whole heartedly in intercontinental bank. Oceanic bank also does same.

Indeed I will say welcome to the world of Access Warriors. Sincerely, it is not as bad as people exergerate it. If God could help us then there is no one he can't help. I ewven know a set whose least score was 77% at the end. The only thing is that you need be more focused and rugged. All the same, I have left. My set was far ahead of when they began the bond thing. I still have friends there in Access and we still communicate. Every bank is the same. I can tell you that Intercontinental is not easy either. Besides, UBA, Ecobank, Oceanic to mention a few none of them is easy. You know s a banker, I have friends in almost all banks and we gist a lot.
