Well that's ur own assumption.

Now this is my own submission: I am likening the digestive system to a blending machine.

when u pack the blender with items to be blended, u will notice it doesn't grind easily but immediately little drops of water is added the machine works faster.....therefore if u lump food in ur stomach without drinking water, the food will not digest on time and that will lead to constipation which will also lead u to the hospital and u will be made to spend money.....lol. so why go through these stress when u can sought it out with just a glass of water. Thank u

So ijaw as an umbrella is not big enough to cover them? ....I mean they are scattered and as such can not form a nation but can be aligned into Biafra? ......SMH

Dad taught me discipline, ruggedness and doggedness, lol sometimes I wonder if he forgets that I will grow up to be a lady..

He taught me to keep quiet when I don't have any anything reasonable to say so often times i rehearse my thoughts before I speak....in the same vein I became a very good listener since I'm always not in a hurry to speak so I not only listen to the spoken words, I take note of the intents as well.

Most importantly he taught me how to live a life of contentment but still be growth oriented, that's basically what has kept me going.

Happy father's day to my daddy.

This is a step in the right direction. Not everyone will sit down in the comfort of there home and wait for miracle that will change the postures of our banks. I give kudos to this lawyer, either he's hungry or not, that is not the bone of contention. Look at CBN , doing nothing as banks went on rampage by fixing indiscriminate rate for online purchases. It's unfortunate. Maybe if they have attended to the lawyer and do the needful, he might not go to court. This will serve as different to our banks

It's actually a right step in the wrong direction. The suit should be against diamond bank not access. ...that's if he had complained to diamond and they didn't do anything.

from 50% of the responses on this topic, i can deduce that this country is devoid of hope for a better tomorrow.
A man has been maligned by a business that is set up for profit, he is seeking compensation and most people here are finding it funny and amusing.... it is a big shame!

You people should go and educate yourselves on how the legal process works so as to be better informed.

Yet, a good number of you are dreaming of moving to america or somewhere in europe.... have you asked yourselves why businesses in these places, especially the big ones don't joke around with any customer - even the least of them? The slightest mistake that causes any customer grief will see you paying your half years profit as compensation to that customer. The lawyers and the judicial systems in these countries live for these type of cases and that is why every aspect of their society functions the way it should. Social advancements and inventions for better living usually come from these type of law suits. Imagine if every single person that feels wronged by any business files a lawsuit and claims damages, do you know how many businesses - both government and private that will step up their game and procedures?

for example.....

In probably the most famous example of a seemingly trivial legal action is Liebeck v. McDonald’s Restaurants, also known as the McDonald’s coffee case and the hot coffee lawsuit

In 1992 Stella Liebeck, a 79-year-old woman from Albuquerque, New Mexico, bought a cup of coffee from a drive through McDonalds and as she removed the lid, spilled the entire cup of coffee on her lap.

She was wearing cotton sweatpants; they absorbed the coffee and held it against her skin, scalding her thighs, buttocks, and groin.

Hospitalized for eight days while she underwent skin grafting, followed by two years of medical treatment she sued the fast food giant claiming it was too hot and more likely to cause serious injury than coffee served at any other establishment.

She won an astonishing £1.7million.

As a result of this, McDonald's stopped serving extremely hot coffee, except on request by the customer.

Do you think what the man is doing

up there in the story is still trivial? undecided

Story. .....

I think u should also do well to study how banking works. ....I can't believe the man is a lawyer and doesn't understand a simple process as dispense error reversal process. And he could not even make enquiries before showcasing his ignorance. As far as access bank is concerned, they don't have any business with him. Let him go and bring in his bank as the mediator.

Oga read am wella, the ATM default policy is to refund you after 24 hours... The man has not got a refund after months, with their customer care throwing you jab as if it's not your pay .

Let him sue their ass... even if h doesn't get any compensation, it will send a very strong signal to them, to always address customers nicely.

Did u read where they said he is a customer of diamond bank, that means on this case he can't sue access...diamond bank should handle his complaints

You wouldn't blame the banks,Nigerians are very corrupt and they would need to recoup their investments too and make profit. However there will be valuations before any approval is done.

Yeah. ...that's exactly what I'm trying to say. By implication these policies may yield little or no result as there's going to be alot of unapproved loan requests.

I don't want to sound pessimistic by saying the policy is DOA. But I don't think Nigeria is ready for such policies right now, instead govt should gear their efforts towards creating a conducive business environment for SMEs via steady power supply, good access road to their raw materials, reduced export duties, etc.

These will greatly reduce cost of doing business and in turn the need for loan facility will be reduced too.

Hoping that these policies will work as I wonder which bank go give this kind credit considering that as Nigerians we too like tokunbo vehicles. ...when these people default in payments, how will the banks recoup their money, when after valuing all the assets it won't be enough to offset the loan?

I think this policies are more like saying MSMEs may no longer be needing any collateral security to access facilities. But that one na government talk, I sha know Nigerian banks, No body go sell this kind facility.

Business / Re: What Do They Mean By Sales Units Having A Standard Deviation Of 30percent by Dfinex(f): 4:28am On May 19, 2017
The question is all about risk and uncertainty in management accounting.

For example if u are venturing into a business, u must ensure that the financial risks involved are not so high that u can not recoup ur initial inflow/investment.

So from the question, most times u will be asked to calculate the differences in risk levels between two or more businesses/projects in order to ascertain the one with the most financial viability.

The 30 % is the benchmark for the risk level assessment, if the risk percentage u get after calculation exceeds 30% it means the business is not viable as u may not be able to recoup ur money within a reasonable space of time or specified number of years....only businesses with 30 percent or less risks should be carried out.

Hope this helps.

Nice one GEJ

But shame on Wike for bringing you to commission these roads and bridges
Just like Dickson said, your administration was a waste not only to the Ijaws but to Southern Nigeria.

Which road or bridge did Jonathan build in the South South during his tenure but he can commission the one others did.

The only bridge he built was the bridge of foolishness that led the Hausa's back to power.

And what moral right does Dickson have to question GEJ??....what exactly has he done in his state to earn him such right. Every one knows Jonathan messed up big time but Dickson is in no position to speak so .
