All these dating issues are as old as mankind. I'm surprised that people seem to be surprised about them.

Na wa ooo

Even me, who is running various kinds of business and also an employer of labour, won't think of marriage now if I was unmarried talk less of civil servants earning peanuts as salaries.

Since my wife refused relocating with me back to Nigeria, I was unhappy at first but right now I really appreciate her for that (My queen was Smarter than me from day one). But naija favoured me tho.

How are people with family couping. In Abj here they are selling fuel for 700 per litre and every stuff is now sold above the roof.

Even my side chicks are now billing me anyhow. I think, I should become celibate this period, by depositing my d*ck in the bank, because as far as it is dangling in between my legs, I will definitely fornicate. I have already learnt and mastered the skill of urinating with my nose. So having no d*ck for now won't be a problem.

My d*ck love women so much that i got an erection last weekend watching an ugly drawing of a naked woman done by my 4 years old nephew.

My d*ck is a SIMP.
This is why Nigeria's leaders believe they can get away with anything. We are having a serious discussion about how people can start families despite terrible government wages, and you're here talking about your d*ck. undecided undecided

No they shouldn't. marriage is just too expensive for civil service wages
That's why most of them are disincentivized to put in their best in government work

Who said people shouldn't sort out their own salvation or aim to be successful?

For those wanting marriage, how exactly is it wrong for them to state out their preference in men or wanting successful men? How does wanting a successful husband equate to hoping others do it for them?
I',m not sure i understand this your position o

So una still de drag this 12k mata.

Anyways, I'm not against girls spending money on themselves like the girl in question. If a girl can afford to spend 100k daily on food, I'd say go girl, you're da bomb.

I'm fiercely against girls going out with a guy to an eatery and eating what they can't afford to pay for. This is where the 12k girl comes into the picture. She ate what she couldn't afford.
A lot of ladies enter restaurants and eat hoping that someone will pay for their food. It's actually quite common in surulere.

No do pass yourself.
One must not marry from a rich family.
Look for a noble family and marry from there.
If the lady is a hustler, bring her to the city, secure a loan then give it to her to start a business.
Get and affordable house maybe room and parlour.
Don't give birth to more than two.
In summary no do pass yourself if your monthly income is less than 100k in this present economy.
Also, you need alternate income sources
RomanceCan Civil Servants Get Married In Today's Economy? by Dimaya(op):
I am writing this post in response to my initial post that made front page yesterday in which a lady said she won't get pregnant until her husband starts earning over 200K

See here:
https://www.nairaland.com/7729988/girl-wont-get-pregnant-husband/

People's reactions got me thinking heavily because nobody addressed the obvious elephant in the room:

unreasonable civil service salaries

In the original post's video, it was established that Nigerian civil servants with a degree, start out on level 8 and earn monthly salaries of 75K.

And it takes as much as 15-20 years before monthly earning come any close to 200K.

With the current high cost of living (particularly food, transportation and housing), it seems the government doesn't expect civil servants to be able to support their families on their salaries.

This begs the question: does the Nigerian government pay enough for civil servants to get married?

And also, if you're a married civil servant earning less than 100K, how on earth are you able to meet your obligations today?

How?
