cyrilikem: Being registered is not the question... the question is "are they transparent".sorry, wanted to write recognizable ane registered/approved by NSE their transparency is not something i have an idea abiut, most of these brokers/financial service operators always have one k leg or the other even the banks, so any complaints about them i wont be surprised at all in the past we had companies that are not operating at all being listed on the Stock exchange; think about it, supposedly financial institutions being persistently fined for not submitting annual results |
thanks I-B |
Eko Atlantic: We've got a zoologist as the president, this is where he should be.wont even trust him to manage a Zoo!! |
john365: the truth is that most of this telecoms companies hardly take in graduates or people without experience, this is because as soon as they grab the experience they will start jumping from one telecoms company to the other. most times it cost the company alot.moving from one company to the other is not unusual- BT engineers hop off to rivals with favourable working the cost is an investment |
HNosegbe: How come we haven't heard any statement from the Waste Water Board on this issue?do these ministries ever make statements? apart from the usual we are looking into the matter.. plus recently civil servants were barred from making public statements i think |
they are registered |
teejayreal: This is an outrage! Over 40 policemen and officials from the Waste Water Management and Sewage Board, an arm of the Ministry of Environment, this morning stormed the mechanic workshop of Nigeria's first woman auto mechanic, Sandra Aguebor-Ekperuoh, and sealed the place. Her auto workshop, where she employs only female mechanics, is situated by 1004 in Victoria Island.this is an outrage....? was that suppose to make the autobiography more interesting? how can ministry of waste water deal with land matters...are you really sure you have spoken to her? |
] Lies. Look at Nairaland for instance, do you see women making noise about how other women are not getting married? There is even an idiotic thread on front page that was started by a man that talks about how some women will never get married unless they change like say na by force to marry.
you look at Nairaland? I say look at the society...words on the street holds more truth than nairaland IMO check a thread on the NYSC section, something about what their plans will be going into NYSC or just after it, vast majority were looking to snag a man or get married afterwards! what happened to getting a job? starting a business or living their own life?? |
Ask the WOMEN THEMSELVES, the pressure to get married comes mostly from the womenfolks in the same society you're complaining about ![]() |
Vicjustice: I don't think you people are making things easier for Justwise, you bombard him with questions thus putting him under pressure to answer each and everyone (even by emails): How about making the questions open for anyone to answer?True Please those with successful application should also contribute ~Mr Justwise, better start charging £1 for every question ![]() |

ifyalways: Na wao.come on think about it, there might be some truth in what shes saying after all most of their skits are from real life events... and as we all know marriage is a big deal in our society...she was the one that was kicked out of the front row of a church for being single i think like my cuz will say ;in naija if you're not employed you better get yourself a man to cover up!! ![]() actually thats what i say! |
Phonon: Please, tell us how career progression is in the aforementioned companies?Do they promote one at definite intervals?Do they give one the opportunity to work closely with top management of companies?Do they recruit every year and how many do they recruit each year?Did Ericsson stop their Graduate Trainee program? How many times have Huawei or MTN or Etisalat put up adverts for entry-level engineers and how often do they do their engineers do 'real' engineering work or do they just climb masts?I would like answers to these questions.Looking forward to your reply.Thank You.me too and where are the indigenous companies; they are not interested in grooming future talents ..? |
The Inspector General of Police (IG), Mr Mohammed Abubakar, says that obtaining police permit for the use of vehicles with tinted glasses “is free of charge and does not attract any charge”. Abubakar made the clarification on Friday while speaking at a meeting with Assistant Inspectors-General of Police in charge of the 12 zonal commands in Nigeria. He said that the meeting was to review security challenges, including terrorism, kidnapping, cultism and communal clashes in parts of the country in order to strategise on how to address the challenges. The IG said: “obtaining tinted glass permit is free of charge, there is no amount of money written there for anybody to pay. “Motorists should not allow any policeman, anywhere to subject them to paying charges that are not officially, legally and legitimately stated,’’ Abubakar stated. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the clarification of the IG comes against the backdrop of renewed clampdown on motorists driving vehicles with tinted glasses nationwide. Motorists in the country have been lamenting that the police have been charging between N10,000 and N50,000 to grant the tinted permits, wondering whether the money actually goes into the coffers of the Federal Government. Abubakar, however, said that those complaining about the clampdown were not sincere as they knew that “by all standards they do not deserve to have tinted glass vehicles’’. |
dontgiveup1 have you considered Canada, USA, or other European countries apart from UK? |
Baba Suwe Urges Appeal Court To Affirm N25m Judgment Yoruba actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly called Baba Suwe, has urged the Court of Appeal, Lagos to affirm the judgment of a Lagos High Court, Ikeja awarding him N25m compensation for his wrongful detention by the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency in 2011. The Justice Chima Nweze-led appeal reserved the case for judgment after parties adopted their briefs of argument on Thursday. Nweze said the date for delivering judgment would be communicated to the lawyers representing the two parties. Omidina’s counsel, Mr. Bamidele Aturu, at the hearing of the case, said the entire appeal by NDLEA was “unmeritorious” and urged the appellate court to uphold the judgment of the lower court. But counsel for the NDLEA, Mr. Femi Oloruntoba, further justified the action of the agency detaining Omidina upon suspicion of drug ingestion for a total of 24 days from October 13 to November 4, 2011. In adopting the agency’s five ground-appeal, Oloruntoba asked the Justice Chima Nweze-led appeal panel, to set aside the lower court’s judgment, saying the verdict was not in agreement with the evidence the parties put before the trial judge. http://www.punchng.com/news/baba-suwe-urges-appeal-court-to-affirm-n25m-judgment/
What evidence? |
Adeogooba: @Waleabimbola,Zone 1 is like the Central Business District/Central Shopping Zone most tourist attractions are scattered all over the city anyway so you will still need to move around. You need to look at the map of the city and the Tube map vis-a-vis main attractions your kids are interested in; you can get everywhere easily with trains, tube, buses all interconnected |
Adeogooba: Hello great pple,There are good transportation links all over so you done necessarily have to be in Zone 1 where most tourist attractions are, so you might want to consider other locations |
hmmm 4/5 are multinationals or legacy companies, says a lot really Nigerian companies don't like grooming newbies? or maybe you should spread it to other sectors like manufacturing, pharmaceuticals/health etc |
perhaps because they will have to be opened about their ownership structure [the nigerian ones], corporate management etc and some Nigerian companies are not used to being scrutinized just yet some just don't feel they can raise kind of funds they need on the NSE [many don't meet the minimum criteria to list in developed markets] |
iTS NOT THE PROBLEM with nigeria, its the way bad customer service is treated everywhere in the world, if i get a bad experience i'll definitely tell anyone who cares to listen, same way if someone ask for my recommendation, it will be based on experience!! people dont deliberately say bad things about a 'certain' company for no reason! You basically registered to post something in january and have gone on to post the same thing three times- how can wakanow help you get visa? if you have a nice experience with them say so and leave the exaggeration! |
so why is the case taking almost two years? with all these evidence AGF is collecting kick back big time, dont know who is worse the former Attorney General or this Adoke |
redcliff: After sending them back home, they should arrest the Nigeria official because there is no way in heaven and earth they would deny they dont know the real ages of these players. but come to think of it, our real U17 boiz cannot stand against U-17s elsewhere because they would be totally bullied to defeat. You can go to any court in nigeria where they'll official assign you any age you want! same way you can go to the police man and get a clean history even if you were alams! |
but its only naija girls asking for money ![]() country hard o |
