I mean what is 'dark'? only white people get tanned to be a bit less pale!

if you insist that I'm misleading someone with what i wrote up there, they you're not very stable upstairs

Not eating? and Are you not going to eat your food = the same thing

I'll probably you the latter if I'm talking to a primary 2 pupil

and the former to anyone that can make their mind up if I'm asking a question of making a statement

bashdecash:
guys, dis aint PDP politics. there is always rule of engagement, what is d rule here when dey dont actually know who is their enemy?
i see innocent civilians suffering in place of boko haram, dats just it.

i stayed in Maiduguri since June 2007 before being transfered Out in May 2011, i knw hw civilians suffered for the incident and even last 3 weeks after d killing of 3 soldiers on a sunday night, a colleague of mine who is a management staff in reputable bank was maltreated in his expensive suit by d soldiers on a monday morning on his way to d office. dey stopped his car and asked him to do frog jump and also beat him while calling him names like boko haram member even though he is not even an indigene of Borno state.
i knw how d security guys treat d civilians including d old. we are Nigerians, we knw d black history of our security agents maltreating fellow CITIZENS and dts wts gonna happen in Maiduguri.
That has always been the case, they arrest over 500 suspect in Jos last year, many of them were just almajiri, they paraded them in front of the police chiefs as rioters, same thing happened in Kaduna

The last time in borno a man was begging the military that his son was actually on the way to school when they dragged both of them into a line, why wont they hate the police undecided

How exactly do you separate an Almajiri from a rioter or terrorist? they are a dime a dozen

Not a question of taking to corrections! You could have answered the question without concluding i'm MISLEADING ANYONE

"No player from the Under 23, U 17 team there?"   THIS IS WRONG
it is a question! i don't have to write a full sentence

Unfortunately i don't recognise the names but they should have graduated into the Falcons by now (considering some are over aged in the junior team)
uncertain question with an opinion- not fact!

Always think before accusing others of misleading others

bros where you dey get your news from?
AT last, the two members needed for the Code of Conduct Tribunal to begin trial of cases sent to it by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) have been reportedly nominated, awaiting the approval of President Goodluck Jonathan.

A plethora of high-profile cases had been reportedly sent to the tribunal by the bureau, with the money-laundering and illegal operation of foreign accounts cases of former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, topping the list
You mean the government has been struggling to get just 2 members for a tribunal?

He's a rascal, he plays the media very well and to be honest the mental state of anyone serving Nigeria will be be questionable
Politics › Re: The Verdict By Olusegun Adeniyi Is Back: Days Of The Cabal 1 by DisGuy: 10:08am On Jun 16, 2011
I had my reason: At that point, I had nothing to lose by resigning since I had my exit plan already mapped out but the question I asked myself was: how would Yar’Adua feel whenever he recovered and he heard that I had jumped ship just because he was sick? He definitely didn’t deserve that from me. Incidentally, there was a second group that also wanted me to resign but was not thinking of my interest or for that matter that of the nation. By that period, there were already cold calculations towards the recently concluded 2011 general elections and different politicians were making their projections. Owing to the strategic position I held, there were those who felt that a public announcement of my resignation would weaken Yar’Adua’s hold on power and they wanted to use me to achieve that end
.

Still held the view there's no point demonising him! he did his job

and the issue of him addressing johnie as acting or VP, he is not the senate or the constitution and he couldn't call someone that has not taken oath president

Work permit holders under Tier 2 Point Based System to loose automatic right to settle in the UK! See link below

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/newsarticles/2011/june/12government-migration-proposals

And read the proposed changes in the PDF document on the right side of the website.

Obvious the UK is nearing the 1980s immigrants most go protest era. So it seems they only want the brightest of the elites rogues like russian tycoons, nigeria mega-all-night rich politicians as settlers.

Do they really think people gamble with thier lives in choosing to go work overseas?

Na i mean day to day income but you already mentioned

Reflector:
A good investor does not put all his money into one investment, he goes for a balance portfolio consisting of the following
1. Real Estate investment (build to rent, shop to let etc)
2. Stocks and bonds
3. A regular business (manufacturing, service etc) that generates money on a daily basis.

Why do we think returnees to may not one day consider their jobs birthright!
Following your advice, we MAY lose out somehow
Bring Nigerians working abroad home, the jobs they left will be filled by foreigners
Those to be replaced at home will become jobless
Net job loss to Nigerians
We need to tread with care
Well they will have a contract and hopefully they get the idea that change is constant, they work for their money- I think the NSE is going private
We will also gain if we get the right people that know what they are doing in non political environment
the job they left will be filled by foreigners , who might end up being another African-nigerian perhaps (global job market i suppose)
Those to be replaced have got decades of experience they can start their own consultancy or compete for jobs in smaller african countries or outside the country even

But they should be guided by the fact the environment they are coming from is different from our own environment here.
yea, just give us our salary and wait for another 'boom' in the market

adejoro74.Thank you very much for bringing Arik Air ltd to public opinion,no doubt Arik is the biggest aviation company in Nigeria if not Africa & still have the prospect of getting bigger.your write up about ARIK AIR LTD i agree with you 90%.i actually work for Arik, for the past three & half years i have been @ arik i`m yet to go on annual leave, reasons initially there was no leave, then when Eventually leave was approved no leave renumerations,so such leave does not have any meaning. The last time i was paid salary was late April for the month of MARCH.But i have just one advice for NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT,ARIK AIR Must not be allowed to fail.
Jonathan is on the throne, they will probably benefit from some bail out BUT they wont last with the way they are going, the chairman should channel is lool from all the power station contract into the aircraft himself!

In the Nigerian sense the ROI is definitely for your Children or Grandchildren even, the gestation period is just too long, I'm not sure if you can get a loan off your house to do other business as well most especially if you are borrowing to build.

I've been studying buy-to let in the UK, so many advantages if you get a good property in a good location, you can make money off your house before you even pay off the whole mortgage

even if properly handled and consist of 100% Nigerians there'll still be bad blood, some people see their appointments as a birthright, one would think these employees with their wealth of experience should be able to pick up jobs anywhere in the world but mba they will take it as an insult
--they will always be sniggering about other their 'returnee' accent, how they cant do the job, how they are getting preferential treatment blah blah)

There are Nigerians working in other stock exchanges and financial regulatory agencies around the world, what's wrong with employing someone with specialised skills for a period of time

You are right on point Soludo! But the people too are their own enemies.  Instead of putting their government under pressure and ask searching questions, they regurgitate cliches like 'God put him there', 'God will judge', 'He's God's choice' , 'he's my kinsman', 'when you get there, remember me oh', 'it's his time', 'if na me sef I go chop pass dat one', etc
but that's because they have been denied education to they cant see past the cliches these criminals push down their throat,
Education should be made compulsory and Free, many poeple are against this even in the basic form as announced by some governor recently
saying free education wont make the students serious- in many countries in Europe education is free. The govt should increase taxes so they can pay for it
