We've always known this. A leader gets sick, they get shipped out! but there are good hospitals in Nigeria that are expensive.
he might have some ijebu in him then ![]() or maybe he just prefers his personal doctor |
walcolm:yes it is. formunt:how? |
I tried if during the weekend and it works, the transaction code was sent immediately if you get yours late you should go back to your account, click on transfer under transfer, I think you click on pending transfers you enter your transaction code then click apply/ok the transaction code has a time limit by the way usually over 24hrs or 48hrs |
Ibrahym:I agree with you, don't know if its the show(ait sports how) I watch but spiff ogbama(sp) and mitchel obi are basically presenters and they laugh too much!!!! |
jaguda:Are you saying 'they' put him there? you mean he didn't win the vote of the people? perhaps if we concentrate on real things then we will get the job done faster, looking for religious trends of a state is a total waste of time three or four credible candidates ran for election one of them who happens to be a mus.lim won whats he big deal? |
most people that want international careers don't even have a local club, approach your local club sides you can join us at NAIRALAND FC ,we are currently looking for a Defensive midfield ![]() |
amaechi is not doing anything verifiable in PH, where is otoks the PH guy ![]() I have listed those I think and know they are actually doing things, the way they are doing things or perceived as individuals doesn't matter but they are actually getting results Amaechi seems to be leaving the security matter of the state to the FG, same way orji kalu said he is not responsible for the waste dump in his own state ![]() |
marosky:an who told you Oliseh, and amunike would settle for under-20? Oliseh was interviewed for the super eagles why do you think he will take the smaller one? which clubs are they coaching at the moment? people always complain, we want foreign coach you got one, he didn't do jack then we want local coach now they put amudu, then they are murmuring erm erm he is not good enough let ALL of them that claim to be good stop waiting for government job! they should go and coach private clubs or clubs in other African countries! |
just one weeks wage is enough to pay for a personal accountant/financial guru or whatyoucall them? i wonder why their agent if they have any don't help them guess the move to UAE is near ![]() |
by the restraint of a man being forcibly deported.isnt that distressing?? what do you do when you are on a plane with someone crying i go die? you laugh at him cause he's been deported or perhaps faking it or you actually say something? Well, thousands of people get deported each year and they use regular flights to deal with such things. I mean we the tax payers are ok with the way it is being done now as it saves us money. I mean if Nigerians are willing to pay for private planes then sure, they would use em. The Pilot has every right to usher people causing commotion on his plane off. I don't know if you have ever taken a bus before but it does happen even on buses and trains. If people are causing commotion, usually the best thing is to get them off, allow them to cool down and THEN get them back on when you have everything under control. It is routine.£11,000 per person is not exactly cost effective! they should get a plane fill it up with deportees only, if possible go en route dropping people on the same continent, not distressing fee-paying passengers on a regular flight! I'm sure many of the people on that flight were tax payers too!! after paying tax and ticket fares you just want them to shut up because their country cant provide anything better? |
xheggs:what about getting abere (injection)? is that a covenant too? |
no i have never been on a plane with a deportee, i hope i never am! by the restraint of a man being forcibly deported.that's enough to make anyone distressed and agitated!!!!!!!!! I'll even ask to come down from the plane!!!! why don't they get a separate plane to deport people or ask their respective govt to come and pick them up anyway? Amid riotous scenes in the aisles, 20 police officers boarded to calm everything down.you see they did the right thing at first until the tipsy pilot boot everyone off! Then the BA pilot took the extraordinary decision to boot off everyone who had witnessed the arrest of Mr Omotade, an IT consultant from Chatham, Kent.so basically people are guilty for not telling the IT guy to shut up or for just being there? |
brushparke: I was charged $30 for subscription and card fees, no hard feelings but it is dissappointing that i have not been able to use the card for any internet purchase (not transactions).they even collect money lol no wonder they no get shame!! |
yomidoggy:true could be the trend of legitimate business or those countries have their postal residential address verifiable by the local govt that is stored properly its not exactly easy or cheap to send goods to nigeria or perhaps those EU countries have some sort of agreement concerning business/customer dispute and refund policies they honour |
how can yo uask me for evidence when im not even on the plane? what sort of evidence exactly do you want? why do people boycott business? if all those people were Americans and they called fellow Americans or friends to boycott same thing!! what exactly is wrong with Nigerians doing the same, the people on the flight were Nigerians, who should he tell Japanese? by the way I'm not saying they are deliberately targeting Nigerians, I'm saying they've got poor customer service especially naija-to uk route (because that's the one I know of/care about and can speak of!) |
and where is the evidence that over 130 people had to be booted off the plane for being noisy? the fact that many Nigerians have been complaining about this is enough to call for a boycott!! some people on here are saying 'oh I know how Nigerians behave', so?? does that mean we should accept being maltreated just because we are not as stiff as the British? or perhaps because we don't have our plane or better service mean we should put up with anything, heck they paid for the service like others do they should get the same treatment BA/police will obvious say anything to justify their actions |
lucabrasi:iwatched the same 'stakeholders forum' for about 30seconds as well it was painful If you think yaradua has no clue then listen to Amaechi |
I don't equate a Nigerian issue to racism!!! this is pure customer service issue and perhaps cultural issue customers are different I don't expect them to serve pork on a plane going to saudi arabia just because thats their law, i bet there'll be many people boycotting them or shouting as much as we seem to be doing!! |
Kobojunkie:I think the main reason why they didn't was because there was nothing there in the first place so no book throwing! people making it a nigerian issue are probably doing so because it is getting a bit frequent isn't it, you might not have experienced it but many frequent travellers have and what about the others on the plane? i still don't get this part you RUIN it cause the world knows Nigerians practically have no rights in their own COUNTRY and that actually is shameful.so because people have no rights in their country they have to be treated differently in other countries? he(they) is a customer like everyone else they all have a right! Nigerian or not, its not like a judge will look for cases related to nigerians? the laws of where ever they are should apply! |
im still trying to understand why someone is talking about Nigerian airways in this? if a Nigerian is beaten by American police, why should anyone say ' hey nnaija police beat people everyday so maybe you should deal with that first? |
I beg to differ. There are as much corrupt policemen in the US as there is in Nigeria. The journalists also get paid off too. If you don't have enough to pay they will leak your secret. Yes there are the notable ones, but what happens in Nigeria, happens here, it just doesn't make the news. Simply put, they know how to hide their yansh and we don't. Police kill people here too o. Even those boot camps that they have to help the young ones kill the young ones. I will say the infrastructure as Bawomolo said, things are still bad in America, but it is not to the extent as Nigeria. There's corruption in America and all other bad things. But it may not occur as frquently as in Nigeria or it may not be reported as in Nigeria. Nigeria is also under a telescope at the moment because our economy is rising, so anything that happens will be brought to light, while America is more tested, and not under a telescope.
Just can't agree with you but I still l wont flog it. its not all glittery like gold but the comparison is just not there fair enough nigeria is a young country- yea right but still we are behind we shouldn't even be comparing it with US, we should be comparing it with Ghana, Egypt, south Africa or countries that gained independence around the same time and with pure stats too that's if we even have records, how many people get shot in a political rally and the police wont even get the killer? How many people take a knife into the house of parliament (they still didn't charge anyone for this) i don't think nigeria is under any telescope per se because our economy is growing, some economies in Africa is better than ours! we are under a telescope because we are soooo behind even with our 'resources' that is it becoming disturbing- the talk about Nigeria having so much potential has been going on since 1950!! |
your guy wooed her with his phone now she went higher like they say owo ju owo lo ![]() |
Arnold1:I think they are proposing or already sourcing for funds for ' lagos energy city' to provide 130mw and if yaradua delivers the 11,000mw in 2011 it might just fall in place I hope they do the overhead light rail |
angeleses:the corruption in other countries don't seem to have a direct effect on the citizens unlike nigeria plus they get caught especially by the nosey journalists and are dealt with sharp sharp but the journalists in nigeria cannot even expose any corrupt police man talk less of the corrupt politicians the journalist in nigeria are like praise singers, they even sell award every two months at least some 16yo are killing themselves, in nigeria the police kill people!!! What yardstick against other countries have been used to say Nigeria is such a bad state that even noone wants to see anything good in the country?could be the fact that we have what other smaller or more peaceful country can only dream of!! imagine Ghana with just three of our oil wells for example ![]() I love nigeria by the way |
OluToye:apparently when the word is mentioned an all for all fight follows ![]() moderator who?? |
Despite all that happened on that flight, I believe that the cabin crew were a lot more courteous in their dealings with passengers than what I experienced in domestic Nigerian flights. My experience was that our domestic cabin crew were uncultured, arrogant and full of nasty surprises for passengers. No one is defending the attitude of BA but with all due respect to patriotic villagers, Nigeria cannot manage an indigenous carrier, a feat achieved by the likes of Kenya and Ethiopia.instead of copying just one persons opinion about the issue you should have atleast copied the reply he received! seems as long as the leaders in nigeria are treating us badly we should just shut up and take whatever we get! so long as we don't have our own airline we should just keeping quiet wherever we get shoddy services nice! didnt know they pay so much for ass licking! "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere". Today, it is Mr. Omotade, tomorrow it could be you. |
is it? |
lol at afterwards they'll blame you for not supporting nigerian league why can't the NFL create a website? according to this http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/sports/2008/apr/13/sports-13-04-2008-002.htm Enyimba’s gangling striker, Eze Otorogu, is just three goals away from breaking a Nigerian Premier League record, which was set when Ishaya Jatau scored 17 goals for Iwuanyanwu Nationale in 1995.eze otorogu is the current leadin scorer |
well maybe they are trying to reduce the number of people applying for university you know most universities are full already they have to reduce the number of applicants ![]() |
I agree with you on most of the points you raised but i wont say its very faulty perhaps something missing- conservation of energy policy the core issue is actually providing enough not to waste, you cant waste what you don't have. other relevant agencies that should identify and penalize homes or offices that waste energy by leaving security lights on even during the daytime when the security lights are not needed. It is not enough for the homes or offices to pay for the energy being wasted because they waste what others need.i don't think its fair to penalise people for using services they pay for, if anything PHCN should enlighten users or make it compulsory that security lights are solar bulbs- that absorbs energy during the daytime and comes on only at night If possible, all heavy duty appliances and machinery should be disconnected from the national grid for now until such a time when PHCN can provide for such heavy duty users. A situation whereby all homes and offices can enjoy steady power supply with basic appliances like TVs, lights, fans, fridges is certainly better than one where only a few people enjoy steady power supply just because a few companies or heavy energy users are making use of energy meant for the vast majority of Nigerians that are in dire need of regular power supply.this will be a disaster for the economy , i think the country will actually prefer to have electricity for industries than private homes, the little manufacturing that we do will die completely! I'm sure people will prefer to have electricity at their workplace, the govt should ban normal light bulbs and hand out energy savng light bulbs at a subsidized rate, most energy efficient equipment are more expensive than the old ones typos galore -sorry |
why isnt she coming back to her topic? shame dey catch you? |
