what  are the procedures in a 'state of emergency'
will the national assembly be forced to pass every law to release money quickly?
will gas companies provide gas to the turbines or will the pipes appear in months?

Other economies are seriously taken advantage of this slump in the dollar to their benefit
how?

the main earner i can think of is exporting oil and at the moment production has been scaled back no thanks to the militants
Travel › Re: Nigerians Deported In Mexico by DisGuy(mod): 7:26pm On Mar 21, 2008
http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2008031021402453

A delegation of the Federal Government that left Nigeria to cheer Samuel Peter to victory in his World Boxing Council fight against Oleg Maskaev in Mexico on Sunday did not make it to the venue as Mexican immigration officials refused them entry into the North Amercan country.

According to Saharareporters.com on Monday, over 20 people came from Nigeria instead of four agreed on between the two countries.

It was also revealed that the Nigerian officials failed to pick up their visas from London, with the delegation unilaterally making their transit through Spain from where they boarded their flight to Mexico City.

The immigration source, who spoke to Saharareporters.com from Mexico City, also claimed that the delegation did not book hotels where they could be located, giving room to further the suspicion that they were up to some tricks in Mexico.

The delegation, which was led by the National Sports Commission Chairman, Abdulraham Gimba, also included an unnamed Deputy Inspector General of Police, the Director-General of the Sports Commission, Dr. Amos Adamu, and some officials from Akwa Ibom, Peter‘s home state, led by the Commissioner of Sports, Mr. Umoetuk.

Mexican authorities told Saharareporters.com that only Gimba was allowed into the country because he was carrying a diplomatic passport.

Speaking with our correspondent on the telephone on Monday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Akwa Ibom Governor, Mr. Usoro Usoro, confirmed that the delegation, including the state officials, was denied entry by the Mexican immigration at the point of entry.

According to him, the Mexican authorities told the delegation to go to London for their visas. Mexico does not have an embassy in Nigeria.

Usoro said the Nigerians protested and opted for a return to the country instead of going to London.

i say not now

5) he has been in the corridoors of power and knows alot of the problems and mistake and besides he is also a governor
staying in the corridors of power is not power! alistair campbell wont win even in their local estates!

4) he believes in Nigerian youths that is why he keeps saying we have to save money not spend money.
but the youth have been saying 'whats the $50b reserves doing in the banks when there is no this and that'

I dont think he knows how to deal with politicians

frag:
I suppose thats the more reason why you lots needs to return the cards. They are useless in your pockets and expensive too.
I heard of a case where a merchant in the UK,after charging the card refused to deliver the goods to the delivery address which is in nigeria but instead decided he could only deliver to a registered address in the UK. Can someone tell me why they still carrying such useless plastic in their pockets?
answer

Look, I have one inside my wallet as i speak to you now. Apart from the $25 added to my bills when i was about to obtain mine which had $100 loaded on it. It is not been recognized on the net. Its very good for show off, and also you can withdraw your money back at zenith bank ATM.

Intercontinental Bank Master Card is What i am talking About. It S**ks.
now you know

If many people return their cards to the banks i think they will get the message,
but naija consumers are weird sometimes they complain about the very poor service by MTN
but mtn customers went up by over 20% from last year

Politics › Re: Nigeria Will Split Soon! by DisGuy: 3:07am On Mar 20, 2008
JayFK:
You make no sense whatsoever, matter of fact the reasons you stated above are profoundly stupid. I don't think you fully understand Nigeria's problems or the reasons for splitting. Nigeria has over 300 different ethnic groups, most of them having no linguistic ties to the other, most of them considering themselves a nation within Nigeria. Look at all the countries through history that have split from each other, it is always because of ETHNICITY, why is Kosovo splitting from Serbia? 90percent of Kosovo is ethnic Albanian, Czechoslovakia, The Basques from Spain, Ambazonia, Quebec from Canada all of these are based on Ethnicity and Language. If you don't want Nigeria to split give a valid reason instead of doling out stupid analogies that bear no resemblance to Nigeria's situation.
Are you sure about this?
take the SW for example, most of them might have different names but their culture and languages are very similar if not the same!

Geordies and Scousers are still English

I still don't believe we have up to 250 ethnic groups in nigeria!

Career › Re: Back Stabbing In Companies-why Are Some People So Fake? by DisGuy: 12:31pm On Mar 08, 2008
I think this is common in most companies not saying it is right but it is common everywhere!

the fact you don't like Britain might be another thing,
I've read some of your post and you keep saying the thing over and over again,
the white British are this, the country is that, you want to move to Australia, Canada, US etc
remember you choose the country yourself

a skin head will just tell you ' why don't you just leave the country asap if you don't like it'

you read too much into things, you have to develop a thick skin; keep a straight head and focus on your job, take the criticism on the chin and move on

the fact that immigration is in the news all the time is because they are actually having a problem with it
rapid population increases and the problems that come with it, hospitals, schools, security and people taking advantage of the 'system' not necessarily because they are anti-immigration,
