Actually, GeneralShepherd is right, and it's not fair that he is being insulted for expressing his opinion in a public forum. I also share the same opinion as well, and I think this issue should be continuously flogged regardless of how many times it has been flogged in the past. The positives and the negatives of living and working in the diaspora should be spoken about, and then people should be allowed to make their own informed decisions. These views do not constitute thread derailment, it fits into the key objectives of this thread i.e. giving advice to intending immigrants on how good or bad living in the diaspora is.

On one hand hand I agree with you, prospective students needs to know the realities of living in these foreign countries- good, bad etc
But When it becomes repeated every other pages then it gets irritating especially with the amount of information out there, one would expect anyone intending to study for a PG degree will have access to these info and make informed decisions.

Some people see their student visa as a ticket out of naija and many conclude working in the UK is the only way to recoup their investments, what about working elsewhere?

moving to Abuja doesnt translate to landing a government contract..same way studying in England doesnt guarantee anyone a working visa..

Why spend a whole N400k for DNA. What is the actual cost of DNA Testing per person?
What is the breakdown of the budget? Why travel all the way to Ibadan for the test. Cant the kits be taken to Sokoto and the test conducted there? How come a big state like Sokoto could not provide one single reliable test centre?
Why paying for accomodation and even feeding for the culprits? I believe they are going to be flown to and from Ibadan for the test and may likely be lodged in Premier Hotel for one week until the result is ready. This is more like a VIP treatment they are going to get despite their shameful act
