saxywale: I don't believe that part about racist remarks. The police are just trying to cover their own a55. There was a part in the video where about 7 policemen stood there and did nothing, they just watched the whole harassment and beating from a distance. Infact the guys were been dealt with inside a police post at the train station.why dont you believe that part about racist remarks? Are nigerians in the slightest politically correct? Are they in the slightest respectful of other peoples opinions or ways of life even as guests? doesnt in anyway justify the mob action but knowing my people insulting people/host with their religion or culture is not too hard to believe imo...you only have to look at this website itself! dinlin: @SinghInLagos, |
picture of pres joha in uni with his coursemate or adon.. picture of pregnant madam patience or... |
just like that? what tha cause of death..the usual 'after a brief illness' ? So sad, used to watch him and the other dude on Ait....I notice they laughed after every sentence..a bit iritating/weird but funny |
there are floods and there are floods...so are inevitable, some are just waiting to happen secondly what happens during/after the floods say much about the system..if theres a system in place to begin with! |
oneeast3: I just like the way some people kept under-estimating GEJ. Do you see the vicious manner he is dismantling and clipping the wings of the north and his oppositions? Just keep watching as the events unfolds..The same way the north will be an obstacle if he chooses to impose a candidate....Obj didnt even consider someone from his region as it was an obvious PDP agreement |
oneeast3: Have you ever heard of "political anointing"?# LOL certainly, BY a political heavyweight not an accidental politician.... |
oneeast3: Peter Obi is very close to GEJ and corridors of power. The chances of Obi succeeding GEJ is being brightened as the day passes..doubt a SE person will vie for presidency for a long time immediately after GEJ...being close to GEJ is an obstacle actually..hesn ot a king maker Obi should make alliance with people from all over the country not just GEJ who is likely to leave everyone in the lurch after his tenure...he got there by 'accident' remember? |
Peter Obi is very sellable as presidential candidate..I wonder why they have always been loud promotion of the unsophisticated Kalu Orji The only problem will be the usual infighting--- my village is bigger than yours--- |
they shouldnt have banned him, allow him come into the country then charge him with involuntary manslaughter!! |
Congrats mr Nickson03... |
daintydee: Please is it worth paying $150 to $220 for excess luggage.....or do I just drop the foodstuff and get them over there with that money.not a big fan of carrying so much foodstuff around most especially if you're going to London or another major city in the UK you will get everything you want in London... drop the extra foodstuff and enjoy your journey, dragging heavy luggage after intercontinental flights is not it, also think about those coming to pick you up |
www.tfl.gov.uk find your way around london |
Think you will take a train from london bridge/greenwich going to Gillingham, stop is at chatham town |
***creeps in*** if i'm from Abia e go pain me die!!! looking back! *** |
Suswan and Ahmed have fallen into the pay salary and dash out money routine |
donigspain: Why is Akpabio's name not in the EXCELLENT category?that was his 2011 rating...this is their final year assessment time |
Kwankwaso should move two levels up- Good/potential Uduaghan* one/two levels up- Potential/Good Aregbesola- Good Abdulfatah Ahmed should move to cretinious levels Ajimobi-Suspect Suswan- cretin T.A Orji- Unclassified |
spikesC: The main people that will give you problems would be Nigerian immigration. Most people don't get searched in the UK POEvery true your main problem would be the nigerian immigration/customs/vet/lastma and all those funny coloured guys checking your bag I doubt it's just a restaurant he's launching, be like full scale supermarket with take-away unit ![]() |
They gave you a visiting visa in good faith.... now the people coming behind you who genuinely want to visit will have their motives questioned, every piece of documents scrutinised like a criminal or wannabe illegal immigrants just because of the actions of a few.... |
Bambamzzzz: There are somethings you should not bother bringing along bcuz they have better ones that are not expensive here e.g detergent, salt, soap(local black soap no dey here ohmake i give you address where you go get black soap? and fig sponge ![]() |
jamela: Ok, so its not ideal to tag along with it and pay for extra luggage? Do you know any Nigerian owned trustworthy courier service? The last time I used one from the States it was hell getting it done.I was thinking DHL, UPS, Fedex.... if you cant afford to lose it! or contact BA or Virgin cargos department and ask about their fragile luggage service from Nigeria |
sorry madam you can always use a courier company, make sure you take out extra insurance, you cant trust those rugrats at our airport with such specialised equipment, all you get is 'Mr Akan is not on seat come tomorrow' have you considered getting the uni to provide you with something similar if you feel its really important, they are usually very accommodating |
KenniStylez: @ DisGuy, Thanks but as it stands I'm willing to take chance. Depending on what private Uni you're referring to, they range anywhere from #450K - #1.5m+( eg ABTI, etc), and mostly that's excluding feeding &and other basics(personal). I attended one, so I'd know, but that's past. As I stated in my post I'm well aware that there are countries offering free tuition to international students, but having very high cost of living, but not all. Also getting part time work is part of the arrangement, I stated all this in my post. I've been told of Brussels-Belgium, Lyon/ Paris(the suburbs)-France, etc. But getting input from people with first hand experience living in such places would be quite beneficial, and not only for myself, I'm sure there are others interested in this topic as well. Btw, what country are u living in currently? What's been your experience?good luck with your quest, there are many threads on here already, you'll benefit from going through threads of countries you're interested in if you join the conversation. European countries generally have similar systems... PS the part time job are mostly for pocket money, never enough for accommodation or tuition fees; secondly they are not automatic- there are thousands of international/local stuents gunning for the same jobs plus language barrier perharps if you have your first year fees and accomodation fees sorted before venturing out |
Is this a personalised TV by any chance? a curved 4k ultraHD3D tv with Jamela glitter? ![]() |
^^ lmao.. |
this lady must be related to musiwa!! there's something in canadian water!!! |
'high risk website blocked Bleep found' mal/htmlgen-a has been found at this website that's what my pc says |
oyb: small willy style nuccasYou know!!! lol Timzy234: Do something about the site's interface. My Nigerian friends over here dont even click here twice. They prefer Makinde's NaijaloadedALL these noise about nairaland style..one size doesnt fit all, it looks cleaner, less clustered and easy on the eyes than majority of the competition 'my friends' also dont click on bellanaija, linda ikeja twice..they are too full on, over commercialised..but then again they are not targeted at people like 'us' |
damilola231: Her dad advised dat she gets married first before buying the car because in this part of the world, it's more difficult for successful young ladies to get a true manshe has another expensive car before...she's already successful with her business na... in other words nigerian ladies should throw their brains to the heap just to get a true man or to put it another way naija men are insecure, egoistical beasts; shock horror!!! ![]() |
tonilogbo: They call it respect for header...Nt fear of beating...She respect her father that allOKAY mister.. Giroud is a good header tho' |
No because KenniStylez: My major concerns are affordability and getting parttime/student jobs, as there isn't lots of funds which is partially the reason I've been unable 2 complete my 1st degree up until now. The only documentation I have presently are my WASSCE 2002, and a Diploma 2009(not OND).the most expensive private university in Nigeria is still cheaper...if the tuition is free/subsidized, the cost of living will catch you out |
ducii: Hey its called respect, since she is still single her dad assumes the responsibility of taking care of her until she gets married. it doesn't matter if the money is hers or not. You have not seen wealthy young girls still living at home with their parents. My cousin is a good example, she has a good Oil Company Job with good pay, but she still lives at home with her parents....... come to think of it my cousin has not bought a car yet and this babe makes close to 12million Naira annually, so it does happen.respect, blaaah dont tell me shes a virgin too.... you guys are taking it serious o moral this, respect that, humble taaah. Nothing wrong with living at home, i'm sure your cousin is not doing it under instructions from her parents ... Ive seen comfortbale ladies living at home and they can move out when/if they want this points to that post about nigerian woman a week ago.. |
