PoliticsRe: Federal High Court Sitting In Lagos Has Adjourned Indefinitely The Trial Of FFK by DisGuy: 11:42am On Jan 10, 2014
here's what OUR PRESIDENT SAID SOME FEW MONTHS AGO!!

President Goodluck Jonathan has lamented that in spite of institutional reforms aimed at fighting corrupt practices, Nigerians, through their actions encourage graft.

He also said both the public and private sectors were involved in corruption but stated that he would not give out their names “so that I won’t be attacked.”
I mean

PoliticsRe: Federal High Court Sitting In Lagos Has Adjourned Indefinitely The Trial Of FFK by DisGuy: 11:36am On Jan 10, 2014
jamace: People like FFK (aka Cramjones) are walking free and making noise in Nigeria today because of the inefficient and corrupt JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

People will blame GEJ for not fighting corruption but have they forgotten that it is the judiciary that is constitutionally responsible for prosecuting criminals in Nigeria? It is only in a military rule that the head of state/president uses military fiat to jail criminals.

Our judiciary must wake up! Judiciary must jail corrupt politicians charged to court to cleanse Nigeria of corruption.
Judiciary is responsible... but what have GEJ with majority PDP senate and reps done to improve and simplfy judicial process, the leader of a country through action and words can actually promote an efficient judiciary!!!

The buck stops at his door good or bad!!
In as much as stella odua is a complete shame to the presidncy and the country as a whole, I put much blame on the national assembly. We should ask what kind of people we have in the Nass that not a single one of them would have known that U.S colleges don't offer masters degree. That's why on a thread earlier on I was adovacating for brilliannt mind like fashola in the senate because I bet someone like fashola would have immediately noted that during her screening
and the sss or whoever does the security clearance before it get passed to the NASS

3. Have a Student Bank Account

Student bank accounts are a great way of managing your student finances. Your overdraft is there to help you manage how much extra money you may need in an emergency situation. The actual account is great to see how much you are spending as you can go into your bank to get a statement of how much you have spent. From this statement, you can see if you are spending too much money.

SportsRe: Sepp Blatter Blasts Brazil For WC Delays by DisGuy:
by building stadia in other less well known cities; other infrastructure will follow and hopefully the economy will be opened for tourism in the following years-

everyone will be affected by the cost, it's the long term gain for those cities they'll consider
watching one or two 'main match' will be ideal, the rest will be sight seeing-
those hoteliers and airline will be making a killing

South Africa should be everywhere by now lambasting FIFA and brazil for being slow tongue
SportsRe: Sepp Blatter Blasts Brazil For WC Delays by DisGuy: 1:06pm On Jan 07, 2014
pickabeau1: sepp is yarning crap

He is in charge of a world cup that forces host countries to develop 10 stadia that will only be marginally utilised post event
Does he think its only stadia that is required in this large country where cities are far flung- airports, trains, roads, hotels and security

They should reduce the number of cities to 4 or 6 so that fans in those citties can have a superb experience

The same thing will happen in Russia n Qatar where the cost of following your team will be prohibitive
what about fans in the other parts of the coutry, especially as their tax money is also being used!

TravelRe: Travel To Ghana By Road by DisGuy(mod): 4:35pm On Jan 06, 2014
nitrogen: I did fly to GH and came back by road (thought I would enjoy the ride), a journey of 45mins with no hassle-by airplane took 12 hours by road, why? cos of the passport shitty, you've got to stamp your P in and out of each country you pass through. that really caused the delay.

Also, need to tell you that Chisco buses don't exceed 80km/hr speed. Others are quite better in terms of speed. I don't think I will ever try it again in my life (not discouraging you o).

All the best!
Thanks a lot Nitro for the quick response, was actually thinking of travelling by air too but some people wanna tag along so looking to spread the cost and the experience wont be bad

Thanks for the head up on the passport and yellow fever issue [imagine o, in 2014! yellow fever]

any country with over 100million people will be in some sort of bric, mint, pink group

The economy has been growing at 5-6% since forevere, even with Yaradua on his sick bed, it will grow at that rate!

still waiting for this rebasing issue, seems they are timing it to coincide with the election period

obamartins: GEJ is applying the 48 Laws of Power to the latter. Law 3: Conceal your intentions. I keep telling whoever cares to listen, don't underestimate someone who talks less and never overestimate someone who makes so much Noise. APC and their e-rodents, take note.
and don't overestimate them either, they might just be as dumb as they look wink
LiteratureRe: The 48 Laws Of Power by DisGuy: 12:58pm On Jan 05, 2014
kind of agree with some of what @realchange is saying

To be honest i think some of this 'laws' are for people at the top already, some are common sense and some for the sake of it

but if you are a nobody at the bottom of the ladder trying to apply this laws to those on your level or above, you'll be seen a bloody schemer, your whole time will be taken up trying to scheme and mr uptonogood, very soon you will be taken to a dark place in mushin and shot like a smelly rat grin
