dirtymoney: yeah. when you activate the service. MTN would be deducting N15 from your units daily. i think the insurance lasts for a month. its just a way of ripping more money off greedy people. IMHO. if i need an insurance, i will go to an insurance company and get one that i can trust, not some telecommunication network affliated promo!

FutureDon: I've been here for more than 1 year, I can't remember any instance of racial attack (either mild or brutal). I think it depends on one's perception. For instance, if you have a strong perception that Brits are racists, you would tend to refrain from cordially associating with them.

Many times, I tend to ''forget the colour'' of my skin cos I mostly find myself in white/brits dominated locations. So far, so good, the reception has been awesome. I've observed that some naija folks aint ready to mingle, na so so colony dem dey form , it is logical to assume that a brit (for example) might perceive such as racism? pash4naija: You can use your Nigerian driver's licence in Canada for one year after which you'll be required to get their own licence. I also know someone who used his Canadian licence in Naija. FRSC stopped him on his way travelling and he didn't have Nigerian licence. He gave them the one he had and they waved him on.
