"If SP must go down, you too must go down"

What she said in the interview was "if SP goes down, we all go down"

Senator Bamidele probably misheard or misinterpreted what she said in the interview, but what he narrated in that snippet was different from what she said.
Yes, Sen. Bamidele who mostly has been a pacifist is wrong and Natasha right. Akpabio is wrong. Every male Senator is wrong but Natasha is right. We must all crucify them.

Hence I'll turn off images when viewing any Natasha thread on Nairaland so I don't get slammed with a sexual assault suit for looking at her pictures. God help the NASS security officers who she catches staring at her.

Avert your gazes o ye Nigerian men when you see a likeness of Empress Natasha Queen-Sheba-aint-got-nothing-on-me Akpoti or you'd get tagged a harasser of women.

Natasha is also accusing Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele who is trying to get the Senate to wave the issue and intervene on her behalf of harrassing her because he called her in the dead of the night:
https://www.facebook.com/ayekooto.akindele/videos/1002686621265366/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v .

Natasha is the prettiest woman in the world and all Nigerian men are supposedly out to molest her. Including her now husband whom she sued in the past.

This is the Jezebel and Femme Fatale Reccy and TheFlint1 are vouching for and want Akpabio decapitáted to please.

Nope! It only works when she's not extorting from you. When a female says you wants to start out as friends, ensure she has her own money and doing well financially else she'd enjoy all of the financial and emotional benefits without you getting to hit it. And in her books, you are the loser.

What that lady didn't tell is, she likely kept getting financial favours from the friendzoned guy while another man was hitting it. Then the friendzoned guy waited in line for sloppy seconds like a vøyeûr.
He married her after knowingly waited in line for her to get fûcked by a man he knew about. It would have been different if he didn't know but he knew, waited in line for him to finish banging her, then he married her; not just bang but married her.

It's not the flex you think it is. It's cuckoldery. And she proudly told the world he's a cuckold.

This was where it came to a head, and it was reported on Nairaland.

A girl posted she wanted to be Reno Omokri's sugar bae. Reno rebuffed the random girl with his usual sanctimonious rebuttal.
Natasha Akpoti who was relatively unknown country-wide jumped in to attack Reno for turning down the girl then accused him of wooing her: https://www.nairaland.com/6801262/lady-call-out-reno-omokri.

Reno defended himself with evidence and instead of pressing on, Natasha Akpoti did the usual giveaway Nigerian popular people do to erase their mstakes while making a joke of the whole issue that she's "unbreakable" and "Nokia 3310" to play the emotional blackmail card when her lies were found out: https://www.nairaland.com/6801055/natasha-set-celebrate-new-nokia .

He followed up by offering money ($50,000) to anyone who could provide a picture of him at the said Aso Rock Dinner Natasha claimed he harassed her: https://www.nairaland.com/6806516/omokri-offers-50k-photo-him#106811511 . He was a Presidential Media Aide so there's no way he wouldn't have been seen if he was at the event. Nobody came forward; not even Buhari's image makers who háted his guts.

This is the Jezebel TheFlint1 wants a man to be hanged for because he doesn't like him. The same way many men have been lynched by people who didn't like them under the pretext of defending women without concrete evidence.

Like Oasis usually surmises, we all know what we are doing. But life would come full circle and you might have to battle false sexual assault claims or watch men close to you get taken down by it.

Theflint1:
Did she not issue a rebuttal to Wendell Slimin's statement that he was out of the country?
Lies! Reno posted British Airways tickets and exact dates of all events to show he wasn't in the country nor did he attend the said dinner event she claimed he harassed her at. She let the issue slide then in 2019 even when Reno kept calling her out.

We might all dislike Reno Omokri now but there was a time he was the darling of the opposition. Revisionism of past events based on what you feel about a person now doesn't make the happenings less of a truth.

Natasha goes around weaponizing sexual assault accusations when she falls out with any man. She might be interested in contesting for Governor of Kogi soon and somehow this has saved every other male contestant or party official against her from being falsely accused in the future.

God knows I'd have pressed for criminal charges. Libel, injury to person and a few other criminal charges should apply here. One high profile Nigerian woman has to be jailed to deter women who falsely accuse.

And if you know what's good for you, start going through social media and pruning or restricting personal interactions with any female who is championing this Natasha case. You might be their next victim. I've already started doing so.

That she might have accused someone wrongly in the past is not enough reason to term her accusations "wrong" this time around.

This is not the first time akpabio is being accused of sexual harassment either. What reasonable senate should have done is to give a fair hearing to both sides and not this shenanigans that they displayed the other time. We all know every senator there has been cajoled by goons above.

I'm not much concern because she has the court to determine the legality or otherwise of her suspension. We have seen this before, definitely, this will not be last.
Might? You've lost me on this.

If you were a woman who is by default ruled by sentiments I wouldn't even bother arguing but you are a man who by nature is given to logic. Shed off your sentimentality.

Look at the facts. Are you following the Jay Z case of a woman who claimed he harrassed her only to drop it when he insisted she back up he claims with evidence?

So just because the men here joke about mentoring - I love beautiful women too - means they go about harrassing women? So being a polygynist automatically makes you a sexual harasser of women?

Ned Nwoko is an unabashed polygamist and TuBaba has a song where his opening line is about being straightforward about loving and wanting women. Does it make both of them sexual harassers by default? Should we believe any woman who accuses Tu Baba and Ned Nwoko of sexual harassment WITHOUT evidence because they are supposedly womanizers?

Shed off your sentimentality. And I don't like the difficult position of defending Akpabio. I like to accuse him every other day.

I once dissed a girl on FB some years ago the next the said was because I asked her out and she didn't agree to be with me that's I dissed her; she said that after blocking me and I couldn't defend myself. Sexual harassment is a crime against humanity/decency, however, not every accusation against an individual should be accepted and taken at face value without probing questions to ascertain the truth.
A lady accused me in the nested comment section of a Facebook page of being a bully and arrogant and blah blah blah because of my comments on a very popular page about holding women accountable.
Somehow she made it look like I was stalking her to feel good about herself; and when I came online minutes later, several women were edging her on.

My saving grace was she had inboxed me months earlier repeatedly but I didn't respond. The messages were in my spam folder so there's no indication if I saw her messages or read them. Then I screenshotted and posted her messages to show she was in fact the stalker. The same women who believed her without evidence began blaming me who had evidence to defend myself for humiliating her.

Too many women get away with false accusations. Call it anything but I document diligently my interactions with non-familial women. None has accused so far but there are backlogs of chats and screenshots filed away and updated on a special Google Drive, even voice notes with females. Including for every ex and entanglement.
I've seen too many men get taken down by false sexual molestation accusations for me not to take precautions. Paranoia be damned.

The Heavens forbid I get caught off-guard 10 or 20 years from now. I stated this even as far back as 2016 and I'm never stopping.

The day any random Alimotu or Preye or Imaobong petty-trading banana and groundnuts by the road side accuses Wike of sexual assault would be the very height of media conspiracies.

Obidients haté him. PDP think he should never have been born. These guys dominate X. That day you'd read opinion pieces from mushroom blogs insisting Wîke is a rapîst and the only thing the accusations would stand on is the unverified utterances of a random street girl.

I want bad leaders gone like you do. But if you want them taken down by falsehood, you're just as bad as everything we accuse them of.

Are you saying the link I shared does not apply in Nigeria, at least in our rule books?

I agree it's my word against your word thing, I said so prior, my point is if the Senate's ethic committee for whatever reason said they'd not consider her petition, why then are they giving her a 6 month suspension from the Senate? It certainly can't be because she was rowdy.
This is the full text of Natasha's petition:
https://www.nairaland.com/8361171/full-text-petition-sen-natasha. She claimed Akpabio harrassed her a year ago in Uyo in the company of her husband when he was alone with her. Her husband is still close to Akpabio. H got multimillionaire contracts from Akpabio.

Since then there have been many visits of her to him and photographed ones. She's been chummy and still close to his family yet immediately her seat was changed two weeks ago, he suddenly became the Devil who sexually harassed her.

Are you going to let your hatred becloud your thinking or you are going to be rational? What did you learn from Neymar and Ronaldo fake sexual assault accusations?

So you are saying if a woman accuses you of sexual assault tomorrow, you colleague even, we should believe her just for saying it without proof or credible witness? TheFlint1, are you really thinking this argument through?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 9:33pm On Mar 06, 2025
The problem with a lot of us is we get needlessly sentimental.

There are so many things wrong with the country. Akpabio, Tinubu, Wike, and others represent these things. We want to take it out on them and justifiably so.

But false sexual harrassment accusations isn't the way to go because of precedence. Haven't we learnt from so many high profile cases of false accusations?

I understand the need for them to face the law but it has to be for the right charges. Kick up a case of the EFCC going after Akpabio and I'd be the first to celebrate on this thread.

Don't try an armed robber for arson. Don't try an arsonist for burglary. Try them for exactly what they are guilty of. He who alleges must prove.

How come there's never any witness to her gazillion cases of sexual assault?

No, she said it was sexual harassment. That's what newspapers are reporting. That's what her image makers initially were pushing until it got to a head and they backtracked.

I once posted in 2019 of her alleging Reno molested her in 2014, just to win a spat when they had an online squabble in 2019. Later on, it turned out Reno wasn't even in the country or at the event she said she molested him. Maybe she is right; maybe not; but her history of false accusations already puts an asterisk on every word she utters.

I don't really like Akpabio but he's right this time. Your Senator has a history of weaponising false sexual harassment accusation. For far too long, women have destroyed men with false accusations.

In 2019, Actress Dorcas Fapson falsely accused a Taxify driver of rape. He lost his job and was arrested. His saving grace was his dash cam which showed she was the one making moves on him but he rebuffed. Nothing happened to her.

In 2018. a girl accused a popular Twitter influencer UcheDandyMUFC of rape. His saving grace was his Twitter and WhatsApp chats from 2016, which showed she was a corp member who wooed him, visited him, cajoled him to have sex. Still, the guy wasn't interested in taking it further because she was a catfish who didn't look one-fifteenth as the edited pictures she had on Twitter. It went viral as "Lekki to Ajah" on Twitter that year.

I've stated over the years on this platform, I still have WhatsApp chats from 2013 and follow up on every call a lady makes wanting to spend time with me, with a WhatsApp chat or recorded call to protect myself from false accusations.

Amber Heard ruined Johnny Depp's life with false rape accusation but no prison time for her. Jay Z is battling for his life due to false rape accusations.

If you can build a solid case of misappropriation of public funds as Akwa Ibom Governor against Akpabio, I'd support you and even provide evidence to strengthen your case. But on this Natasha issue, Akpabio is right. FALSE RAPE ACCUSATIONS SHOULD CARRY THE SAME PENALTY AS RAPE. Too many men have been destroyed.

Im still a bit confuse as it which community benefit from this, because to my knowledge, not all community in Niger Delta are oil producing communities.

So does it apply to all community in the Niger Delta, whether they produce Oil, or not?
Specifically LGAs which play host to oil and gas companies and drilling fields. If oil and/or gas is already being drilled in your LGA, you are part of the HCDTF. Check Edo State archives to find out which LGAs are listed in your state. Your State Government must have gazetted them.

In my state, all 12 LGAs in my Senatorial District are oil and gas producing communities and have oil companies operating there. Ikot Ekpene and Uyo LGAs, for example, in other Senatorial Districts are not exactly oil producing communities (they somewhat enjoy the trickle down benefits like jobs e.t.c though).

----

Then there's the Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone (OGFTZ), including the Ikot Abasi OGFTZ in Akwa Ibom and Onne OGFTZ in Rivers where it is stipulated by law that 60% of jobs must go to indigenes. This is another battle for later.

Joseph1832, here. #200 billion paid to 137 host communities as of October 2024.

If you are from the Niger Delta, your community got #1.46 billion from oil companies in your place. Not FAAC from the federal government or security votes. Direct from oil companies.

Hmmm.

What exactly is the Host Community Development Trust Fund, and what is its purpose? Is it suppose to benefit all state or just oil producing state?
I've gone into detail a number of times on this thread even throughout last year. If you filter-search "Development Trust Fund" on this board, you'll see my comments on it.

I must admit, this is the first time I'm hearing about the HCDTF. I honestly don't such a thing exists or what it's for.
Not surprising, and you are not alone. Even some of the most well-read of us haven't heard about it. I only found out when I studied the 2022 amended Petroleum Industry Act.

I mentioned on this board last year and earlier today that I presented a paper on it. The day I did, I got two reactions:
- Audible gasps from the audience who weren't in the know, and;
- Mean looks from those on the high table who were visibly pissed off I was saying these things.

At the close of the event, I had an impromptu crowd gather to ask me to explain more. But I've discovered most are only bold behind closed doors while they hail those plundering our patrimonies in exchange for personal favours and immediate gains.

Like someone told me, you are fighting for people who enjoy being beaten and impaled by their oppressors.

Bro, 3 per cent of the operating costs of oil companies already go to the HCDTF and leaders in Akwa Ibom, Edo, Rivers, Delta, Abia, and Ondo are pocketing them without questioning. Billions already paid with evidence.

You seem unbendable and unwavering, which I know you've always been, but this here is different. Nigeria has its own way of speaking to you.

Its already started speaking to you, you might want to listen. You want to know how Nigeria is speaking to you? Lemme tell you. People going to meet your family members etc to speak to you to holster your weapon, that is Nigeria speaking to you. My dear brother, you might want to listen.

I was once told by a family member, "there's no man/woman born of a woman that can't be spoken to, even spirits and ghosts, can be spoken to, na only dead body Dem no dey fit talk to".

Happy New Year to you, ma main man. 👍
Last week, as I was in another city, I got a call from my uncle, who I deferred to most. He asked that we meet. Well, you can guess,of the many things we discussed, what one of the topics was.

I think if I was going to go slow, sending emissaries or trying to gaslight me as shown in the screenshot has completely pissed me off. How can we continue to allow these people to siphon our common patrimony?

The Host Community Development Trust Fund was set up to build and renovate schools and community clinics, help young people acquire commercially viable skills, provide pipe-borne water and electrification projects etc.

These crooks do these things banking on our supposed ignorance and docility. When one person speaks up he becomes the disrespectful young man who is questioning his elders.

Let the period elapse without a good response then we'll see.

We complain about the government but we are no better than those elected into public office. Your paramount ruler is probably more corrupt than your governor.

I read this article https://www.nairaland.com/8339583/reps-move-protect-niger-delta about Niger Delta communities and the implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act and the stipulations of the Host Community Development Trust Fund (HCDTF). One person in the article was recommending a profit sharing formula with IOCs and host communities, and it made me laugh.
If you have gone through the PIA 2021 and the amended version in 2022, IOCs already contribute 3% of their yearly budget and revenue to the HCDTF as it stipulates.

For months I have been asking indigenes of the Niger Delta on this board to ask questions. The HCDTF is managed along with select few persons from your communities. Yes, your uncle and paramount ruler are definitely in on it. Your uncle's cousin too.

Last week after months of presenting papers and all of that, I asked my community formally to account for the accrued income and disbursements of proceeds of the HCDTF else in three weeks, I'd be forced to get the law involved including the ADRC of the Oil and Gas Excellence Centre which was setup for such issues. I've been met with mostly gaslighting and community leaders trying to my older relatives to convince me otherwise.

Don't let these people fool you. IOCs are already contributing to a fund specifically for host communities which should be used for human capital and physical projects development, but they are pocketing it while banking on your ignorance and silence.

Speak up as I speak up. Call home and demand explanations.

Funny you call Akpabio my "MCM" when:

- There's evidence in the political section of me kicking against Akpabio before the elections;

- On this thread as the first and only person to vehemently discredit his presidential bid;

- Evidence on this thread of me mentioning FAACs under him and Amaechi, and in 2013 alone $1.3 billion and $1.1 billion respectively.

- All you need do is filter-search "Disstroy Akpabio" to this thread even before the elections to see evidence of me exposing him. Some of which were hitherto unknown.

- I just finished having a back-and-forth in a WhatsApp group flailing government shills at the state and federal levels, some Akpabio stans.

Akpabio might be Akwa Ibom's most outstanding governor yet and the best-achieving of the 2007 - 2015 class of governors based on infrastructures and otherwise, but he's corrupt still. Just because he's currently my state's most prominent person on the national stage doesn't mean I support him.

He's mismanaged funds he's still not accounted for and I'd never be in his camp.

Forget Coursera. If you want to get hands-on, learn on FreeCodeCamp[dot]org and download their videos too on YouTube.

You can download Harvard University's CS50 full course from FreeCodeCamp to ease into computer science. The video is 21 hours long though.

In terms of user interface you'd enjoy whether on PC or just practising on your phone or tablet while waiting for your turn at the bank, I'd say go for W3Schools. You won't regret it. Both FreeCodeCamp and W3Schools have exams and certifications too.

Coursera programming courses are not worth it, audited or certified.

Politics dey mess people up sha. His(Dokpesi's) misadventure in Nigerian political space really overshadowed the good work he did in the media and entertainment space.
There was the Kennis Easter Fiesta too at Kuramo beach where artistes locally and internationally performed right on the beach before Star Trek made it bigger. Kids couldn't attend so we just watched on TV.
The DAAR Easter party at AIT/Raypower Headquarters at Alagbado.

Then the big one: AIT/DAAR Communications Christmas Fiesta from the beginning of December to the first week of January which held without fail at the then Gateway Hotels (now American-I-can't-remember-the-suffix-right-now Hotel) right on the boundary between Ogun and Lagos.

Accompanied by a chaperone who pay an entrance and pool fee for their wards, children had access to everything, including entering the Santa Claus booth for gifts. Gifts sponsored by manufacturing companies like Dufil/Indomie, Cadbury, Nestle...who were nestled in axis.

Imagine how it felt for us kids seeing artistes and celebrities like the Papa Ajasco crew we watched and adored on television in person, and interacting almost daily as long as our parents could bring us to the venue daily for a month.

Then there were their OAPs Slim Steve, Tito da Fire, and Tolu Alatisé (I think?) who did everything to promote Nigerian artistes with interviews every evening and at these festive events too.

Raymond Dokpesi was the bomb.

Rule number one: Never trust an 'activist' who has no sustainable source of income other than activism. Twitter activists like the Aisha Yesufu, Deji Adeyanju and even some supporting Peter Obi included. They'd switch with a counter offer. FFK is another good example. His 'activism' is his only source of income.

Just like you must never trust a politician who is nothing outside of politics - they'd do anything to perpetuate themselves in power. Anything.

We truly know what we are doing in this country. My people think this is their Hero but I only pray they see better.

What this boy did to us, only God can perfectly account for him. All this shenanigans they are put on in court is just to save face.

A reasonable Governor should have held this idiot to accountability but guess what? they are in for merriments for the same reasons why Kogi is in dire conditions.
In 2015, Ambode probed the LASG expenditures under Fashola. He found out Fashola spent:
- #75 million on a personal website built on WordPress, and;
- #115 million drilling two boreholes.

Instead of being congratulated for ensuring transparency, a section of the public gaslit Ambode for witch-hunting Fashola. That probe died like shooting stars racing across the night sky.

Glorious--gbola defends most of the ills of this country/gov most times, and I can't help but wonder why.

Nigerians care too much about perception. The funny thing is they don't try to change the narrative, but get bitter and petty when someone abroad or someone rich point out the flaws in the country. They know what you're saying is right, but they don't want you to say it as a rich person, foreigner, or a Nigerian living abroad "because you're not one of us".
Perception is everything. Pragmatically, perception is a stronger determinant factor in the marketplace of interpersonal interactions than reality. You are judged squarely based on the perception of you. It's a global thing.
Even on this thread, our perception of the next person influences how we interact with them, never mind if that perception contradicts reality.

There's nothing we've said about the Nigerian Police that Black Lives Matter and Antifa activists haven't said about U.S. cops. So much so, much of the world presume if you're Black, you're a game sport waiting to be shot dead by racist cops, not minding actual statistics I've read on the U.S. Justice Department website proves otherwise. But that's what perception does.

Nobody said you shouldn't criticize the Nigerian system and the putrefying stench of misgovernance oozing from it. But reveling in the ridiculing of your country (not the system or its leaders) publicly should never be the norm.

Trump has ridiculed everything Washington D.C. stands for. He calls them corrupt. Elon Musk posts every other hour about the embezzling of public funds in D.C. So much so they created D.O.G.E. focused entirely on combating bureaucratic corruption.
Ilhan Omar shits on the U.S. system every other day.

Regardless, even as these people continue to posts the flaws of the American system, they NEVER ridicule America itself.

South Africans have Facebook groups dedicated to mocking their legislators. Jacob Zuma gets insulted daily. They talk about their high crime rates, systemic poverty, corruption... But you'd never find them ridiculing their South African identities.

Yes, Tinubu is a crook, Obi is dishonest, Akpabio is two-faced, Atiku epitomizes corruption, Donald Duke is con artiste, Kwankwaso is an extremist... And on and on. We can agree or disagree depending on your partisan stance.

But these people are the Nigerian system. They aren't your identity. Your identity is Nigeria and you should marry the idea of:
- Holding the system accountable and háting its enforcers, and;
- Reveling in your identity as a Nigerian.

How's this difficult? How does Tinubu, Obi, Atiku or Kwankwaso, or the corrupt Nigerian police diminish or elevate your identity as a Nigerian? At the basics, you are simply a Nigerian - your identity.

What I find curious is Shettima, born in 1974 and a 50-year-old still chairing a Youth Council.

A 50-year-old is a youth?

EFCC: How suspended accountant-general diverted TSA, IPPIS funds for personal gain https://www.thecable.ng/efcc-how-suspended-accountant-general-diverted-tsa-ippis-funds-for-personal-gain/amp

Ahmed told the court that funds were shared to some groups and individuals, including one Peace Akomas of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), who was said to have collected N18.8 billion.

“The second group is the AGF group and it got a total sum of N18.01 billion,” Ahmed said.

“The third group, the Commissioners of Finance in the nine oil-producing states, received N21.4 billion. The money was withdrawn by Akindele, converted to US dollars and handed over to Akomas on behalf of the group.

“The fourth group is called the Yari group. This group received N17.15 billion. The entirety of the sum was transferred to the account of Fimex Professional Services on the instruction of the representative of this group: Abdulaziz Yari, former Zamfara state governor.

“The remaining N8.9 billion was retained by the second defendant. Furthermore, N4.29 billion was converted to US dollars by Akindele as appreciation for the consultancy contract, and the balance of N4.6 billion was given to Akindele.”

The EFCC officer added that the properties purchased with the funds by the first and third defendants were traced to various locations in Abuja, Kano, and Niger states.
