No one is refuting the fact that you said strategic partnership PTDF entered are with free tuition schools.

But let me bring to your notice that not all the schools under the F/G/C scheme are tuition free. An example is IFP france. you can check that out.

But for Germany... its university are tuition free schools under the DAAD scholarship and for China, you get sponsored by CSC.

Should you know anything about france, I would love to hear it from you. I respect your kind assistance here and may God continually bless you

But those people who know too much always have a way of passing wrong information. I didn't even bother responding to their claims cos I knew it was baseless.

I and bb12008 had told you and everyone with certainty long before that the strategic partnership is a free tuition scholarship and PTDF will just spend only living allowances, therefore, saving costs through bilateral agreement. PTDF has finally commented.

PTDF needs the strategic partners' approval to accept the people they recommend. So just because one received a mail as regards Germany doesn't mean u should start celebrating. If u don't meet what the partners require, u will be removed.

The UK Scholarship is controlled solely by PTDF. If people here state something, say your own opinion. You don't need to act childishly and mock them just because they oppose your view. People here commenting are top people who only just want to guide u and are not applying for a scholarship.

I am one of the PTDF Scholars in France, studying in one of the Grande ecoles . From my experience from the PTDF Scholarship. The fact that PTDF has recommended you implied that you have gotten the scholarship.

I will however clarified something for you people, it was not as if DAAD will be the one funding your scholarship, it is still the PTDF funding the scholarship, they are just trying to harmonise the scholarship for greater efficiency and also to reduce cost, without compromising on quality.

I was supposed to go to Germany, I missed out when we were asked to upload the document on DAAD website, because it was not properly coordinated during our own time, even though I got admission to TU Berlin. DAAD could not do anything again regarding my visa, that was the reason why I came to France in order not to waste another year.

So congratulation to all the shortlisted, if you are not been follow from the village, those that got the e mail are the successful one from the Germany point of view.

Those coming to France , I think will also be updated.

Your PTDF scholarship under your set is quite different from this strategic partnership scheme. This implies an agreement in which the participating institutions and country have made usually free tuition, free language class e.t.c. PTDF in their own part will provide living expenses, flight e.t.c PTDF published your names officially via the website that you have won the scholarship hence it is confirmed. You can even choose other countries apart from UK like USA, Germany, France, Canada, Australia if you wish to go there. You can choose any school you desire in those countries.

If you checked my previous posts, I reiterated that those who received mail have been nominated by PTDF to DAAD hence were asked to do the necessary things for DAAD acceptance which include filling an application form, CV, cover letter, reference letter, certificates and transcripts before May 15, 2018.

Hence, until you see the official publication of names from PTDF website of scholarship winners, you can celebrate. Keep on praying and don't be overconfident. This is just the realism of life as nothing is certain.

@ all. it is advisable to continue to look for other scholarship opportunities apart from PTDF. Also, keep your hope alive if you did not receive any mail and cheer up. There is still France, China and the UK.

I cant wait for the list to be published on their website(ptdf website) so we can stop the guessing and analysis and funny ideologies. But congrats to all of us who got a message today. I will celebrate fully when the list is out.

Because someone was recommended by PTDF doesn't mean the person has won the DAAD Scholarship.

DAAD have their objectives hence you were asked to fill your profile. This DAAD of a thing is not a Nigerian thing but for developing countries. Until everything have been finalised, then you might or might not see any list for copyright. China body is CSC and I think Campus France is French body.

I am surprised you guys don't know about them.

Interview details of UK own is out. This is fully by PTDF hence prepare well and only PTDF have the final say. Better prepare well for this as it will be more competitive. If one is successful, your name will be published immediately in their website as PTDF is solely responsible.

They said it na. Look at the advert. It is a Strategic Partnership scheme. Without PTDF reccommendation, you cannot be given the Scholarship.

Also PTDF will still do their part in some way; either in stipends or flight allocation or none. It all depends on the partnership deal they did.

DAAD is the Germany government scholarship scheme but require Nominating body. PTDF is the nominating body of Nigeria.

It is likely that the 90 people, 78 MSc and 12 PhD have been recommended by PTDF for DAAD Germany Scholarship.

DAAD Scholarship have the final say.

If you chose Germany or not, don't be scared, You might be among those recommended to France or China. That is the advantage of choosing the three countries.

90 persons where contacted as I can see from my email. Thanks Moonie. From the mail it was addressed to both MSC and PHD.

The 90 recepient email was it from OSS MSc?The email my mentee sent to me was from from OSS MSc showcasing 78 candidates.

OSS MSc only handles MSc. If the recent 90 email comes from a general Ptdf email, then includes PHD

Before I make an informed statement, was any PhD candidate mailed for DAAD?

It varies. An average of 13900 pounds for a year course excluding tuition.

You might be thinking it is much but u are wrong. One bed flat accommodation in London cost an average of more than 1,000 pounds per month. So to save money avoid London. Other towns are cheaper.

Ya. Email them with good reason. But know any LSS scholar going for the induction to update you. You must submit your documentation manually to them for you to be paid.
