Are you not educated? Fuel should be N1200 so N650 is heavily subsidized
Bobloco:
Tinubu said that Subsidy is gone

So subsidy is gone
Politics › Re: This Is The Time To Know If Dangote Is For Nigerians Or Against Us. . Fuel Price by DMerciful(m): 3:26pm On Jan 15, 2024
Nigeria owns about 18% of it by contributing
$2.7 billion cash, crude in material, and if you dig deep, probably 50% because of the cheap forex he was given
BloomingDale:
Na your papa get am. Nigerians and entitlement mentality.
Politics › Re: This Is The Time To Know If Dangote Is For Nigerians Or Against Us. . Fuel Price by DMerciful(m): 3:24pm On Jan 15, 2024
Nigeria contributed about $3 billion out of the 19.5 billion and gave him cheap forex
9jatriot:
When the man was taking loans and sinking money into the project how much did you contribute that will make you want to dictate his price for him. If he likes he puts a litre at 2k, it is his business. Dangotte does not tell you how to run your own business so do not tell him how to run his.
Politics › Re: This Is The Time To Know If Dangote Is For Nigerians Or Against Us. . Fuel Price by DMerciful(m): 3:23pm On Jan 15, 2024
Dangote will sell high and folks like you will defend it because of Tinubu the failure
Lifestone:
The crude is sold to Dangote at the international price, he purchased 90% of his equipment in dollars, so he will benchmark his pricing with international price.
Politics › Re: This Is The Time To Know If Dangote Is For Nigerians Or Against Us. . Fuel Price by DMerciful(m): 3:20pm On Jan 15, 2024
The Nigerian fg owns about 15%-18% of that refinery.

Its not totally Dangote’s refinery
peleson1:
Let us wait and see if Dangote will sell fuel lower that it is now or same price.

Time to know if Dangote has always been out problem in this country or a helper.

If a litre is not sold at below N400 then I v my conclusion

Obj who remains my best president ever is a Yoruba man so you're talking nonsense!

The national Assembly is filled with election riggers so they lack legitimacy. They derive their powers from the 1999 constitution which is a fraudulent document because there was never a referendum to adopt the military imposed 1999 constitution.

Remember that the military regimes were illegitimate.

The confab of 2014 or a new constitutional conference that should actually be sovereign.

You want us to do half measures and start agitating after 2yrs?
TopBanter:
"Rejected by majority of Nigerians" indeed. The legislators are representatives of Nigerian people by constituency. They can legally represent their people at any constitutional ammendment deliberation with their input deemed to be that of the people they represent.

Nigerians have no power to reject majority ruling of the legislators. This is why you hardly witness dispute once NASS ratify a bill and pass such into law

Stop hiding behind bullcrap in an attempt to disguise the fact you are just a mischievous detractor not interested in progress under a Yoruba President.

Were this to be under an Obi LP government you'd be fully behind the President's Party using it's own committe report as guidance for the implementation of restructuring.
Politics › Re: It Seems The Military Rule Is Better Than This Civilian Rule by DMerciful(m): 3:11pm On Jan 15, 2024
Lies!

You cannot have 1/10 this level of insecurity in a military regime.

A benevolent, competent and patriotic military ruler will be better. Look at Rwanda, a military guy(though it seems he has transitioned to civilian)

Either we restructure back to 1963 constitution with necessary ammendments or military rule but we cant continue like this.
Namaster:
Spoken like an idiot who has never lived under a military rule.

A military regime in Nigeria would have ALL the troubles in Nigeria RAISED to power 10. Nigerian military are more useless than Nigerian politicians.

Decades after his death, Nigeria is still recovering what Abacha looted from Nigeria.

Nigerian politicians take your money and leave you to wallow in insecurity. Nigerian military would take your money, your daughter, your wife and your life if you complain about it.

Are you blind to how Nigerian Military act like cultists?

Stop saying NONSENSE!
Politics › Re: It Seems The Military Rule Is Better Than This Civilian Rule by DMerciful(m): 3:07pm On Jan 15, 2024
We know we need to restructure back to 1963 constitution but lazy people are blocking it because no sharing of Niger Delta oil money in 1960 or 1963 constitution
Testiebobo:
Since we dont know what we are doing again, we dont know where we are coming from or where we are going. Maybe we should just return the power back to the military men or they take it my force. Bcuz me i no understand which kind country b dis oo. Let kukuma know we are controlled my harsh people rather than democracy with harsh economy
Politics › Re: The Truth Behind The 1966 Coup: Reno Omokri Exposes Fake List Of Perpetrators by DMerciful(m): 3:05pm On Jan 15, 2024
What will this do for you?
Thevideoguy:
Political commentator Reno Omokri has uncovered attempts to distort historical facts surrounding the January 15, 1966 coup in Nigeria.

On the 58th anniversary, he exposed a circulating fake list that falsely combined the names of those involved in the January coup with those in the subsequent July 29, 1966 counter-coup, misleading many individuals, including Mike Ozekhome, SAN.

Politics › Re: How Dangote Refinery Exposed Nigeria’s Shipping Inadequacies by DMerciful(m): 3:01pm On Jan 15, 2024
Most companies in Abuja are mandated to be there by virtue of Abuja being capital.

I'm from Niger Delta and I feel we're being shortchanged in Nigeria. I recognize that part of the reason is self inflicted while the other part is the insensitivity of the Nigerian state.

Hopefully, there'd be restructuring and resource control some day
iLegendd:
You have a point, but it's no longer like that compared to what Boko Haram is doing in the North.

Even with insecurity in Abuja, way worse than the Niger Delta, since 2015, companies and embassies are moving there on a daily basis.

Kidnappers operate in Abuja with ease. In fact, terrorists are in Abuja everyday. Why didn't they move essential establishments out of there?

Militants operated 10-15 years ago and their damages isn't as horrific as Boko Haram has been doing since 2014.

Think about it. If the government and companies are so scared, why not they move all the drilling companies out of the Niger Delta and drill them in Ogun or Lagos so that the Niger Delta can rest?

How the North and West allowed Bubu to wreck the country to this abysmal level is beyond comprehension.

Bubu was killing Nigeria but they were praising him, fighting the SS/SE that always called him out.

Now look how terrible things have become

Politics › Re: How Dangote Refinery Exposed Nigeria’s Shipping Inadequacies by DMerciful(m): 2:40pm On Jan 15, 2024
Many companies moved their headquarters to Lagos when the kidnapping of expatriates intensified around early 2000.

One of the factors in deciding establishment of a production company is nearness to source of raw material. If the Niger Delta is safe, most of these oil companies will not have left and new ones would happily join
iLegendd:
Where Dangoté situates his company is not Niger Delta's birthright. Trust me.

A confab was already done in 2014. They already came out with over 600 negotiated resolutions. Just implement!

Just implement!!!
TopBanter:
Garbage as usual. Restructuring, resource control, state policing etal are simple enough concepts to shape to regional peculiarities if signed into law.

No need for any confab hosting "ethnic nationalies" POV that is a patent waste of time.

You're just confusing yourself because like the average Igbo and Obidient, dissenting first with anything the government of "Yoruba people" suggest is default modus operandi for you rather than just backing what is best for the delivery of solutions for all Nigerians.

Let the APC government deliver Restructuring, resource control, greater regional autonomy etal. Serious regions, desirous of progress, can take it from there while you and your ilk continue talking about confab and other asinine issues.

Politics › Re: APC Mulls Implementation Of El-rufai C’ttee’s Report On True Federalism by DMerciful(m): 2:06pm On Jan 15, 2024
You're using to many meaningless words. Negotiated resolutions of the confab by the ethnic nationalities will be more acceptable than few men in a room deciding for entire country
TopBanter:
Even what is universally agreed as a solution petty and ethnocentric people like you must argue about because you see individuals ( GEJ not Tinubu) rather than ideas i.e the implementation of comprehensive restructuring asap regardless of what or whose submission is used to achieve it.

It is as if attachment to clan, ethnicity, religion or sectional affiliation blind you to what is obvious which is that solutions, that stops Nigeria failing, must be brought in ASAP. If APC wish to use the El Rufai committee submissions then so be it.

A progressive person knows that APC are in power and want to be perceived as providers of solutions. Natural they will not want to do PDP any favours.

They will use El Rufai's committee finding to claim glory but that should not bother any progressive Nigerian because they are simply seeking solutions and are not politicians quibbling over political bragging rights. Really tiring sharing a nation with your sort.
Politics › Re: APC Mulls Implementation Of El-rufai C’ttee’s Report On True Federalism by DMerciful(m): 2:04pm On Jan 15, 2024
They can use the 2014 confab because it was well convocated vs a committee report that will be rejected by majority of Nigerians
TopBanter:
More rubbish as usual from a detractor trying to keep his fire of bias against others burning.

If the solutions are identified then why another dumb jamboree instead of the ruling Party just using it’s political leadership and influence , in the legislative and executive arm of Nigerian governance, to directly tackle constitutional amendments to then reach implementation stage without delay and before Nigeria collapes?.

Every averagely intelligent Nigerian knows that Nigeria cannot work , regardless of the contribution of even the most talented President, if comprehensive restructuring of our governance system is not introduced asap.

Only detractors throw up inconsequential and trifling details. Progressive people prefer all delay be eliminated so implement stage, that drives solutions, is reached without delay regardless of who delivers it

No constitutional conference is needed. This is how we waste money and achieve nothing. APC is in power and has legislative majority and superior coercive/bargaining power as head of executive arm.

Let the Party use that power and advantage to immediately implements solutions that have been identified as far back as the 1970s instead of engaging in retrogressive practice, as you suggest, that have ensured long-identified solutions have never been implemented.

There will always be insecurity however it was minimal during PDP years.

Major insecurity started with Bokoharam/ chibok girls kidnapping and these were politically motivated by the North to kick out GEJ but unfortunately, it went out of control!
