Money he couldn’t release to his people when he was a governor.
Good for him sha, at least he is giving back to his people part of the interest yielded from their money he stole and invested in his family business.
Obi or any of these people will never rule Nigeria.

These things you mentioned is not all thats required!. frankson1: My comments have been very clear and simple.
Is there any other meaning to Federalism: state policing, states resource control or restructuring that was discussed in the CONFAB that is different from the El Rufai's committee
If they all mean the same thing then there shouldn't be any fuss about it. If it's implemented, it won't matter which report was used as it would lead to the same results.
Even when GMB tried giving autonomy to LGAs and House of Assembly, he was still being criticized by some people.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO CRITICIZE EVERYTHING. |
Politics › Re: APC Mulls Implementation Of El-rufai C’ttee’s Report On True Federalism by DMerciful(m): 7:06pm On Jan 14, 2024 |
Why is the 1999 constitution being rejected? Because they said its was done by the military. So you want a constitution or restructuring thats done by a committee rather than a conference of negotiated resolutions by the people just like the confab? Why do we go around in circles? frankson1: Is it not True Federalism and Restructuring, state policing every regions have been yearning for 🤷 it won't matter what you think or believe if this present leadership can implement one or two of any form of Restructuring that we want and no one would care to know if it was the CONFAB report or any other type of report.
Not everything should always be condemned. |

Which dividends of governance? An El Rufai committee will be rejected so lets not get it twisted Globad: Whether with the confab or the committee, you still need the national assembly to get anything done.
Why waste time on another confab? People are so much in a hurry for the dividends of governance, why waste another one or two years again? |
Politics › Re: APC Mulls Implementation Of El-rufai C’ttee’s Report On True Federalism by DMerciful(m): 6:24pm On Jan 14, 2024 |
We want a people's constitution so any constitutional review or change must come from the negotiations of the ethnic nationalities in a constitutional conference. frankson1: The same CONFAB that the initiator couldn't implement even one thing in the report
Besides, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the El Rufai's committee report if it's still in line with restructuring and embracing True Federalism. |

To organize confab and implement within 4yrs isnt easy esp with the hatred towards the president because he is from a minority nationality. Anyways, why can't APC organize a constitutional conference instead of a committee report which does not represent the different nationalities? legba1: The person that arranged/the confab refused to implement its recommendation before leaving office and you now expect an opposition party to do that. Is that not the peak of foolery. |

If Tinubu cannot stop kidnapping, let him resign. Obi who is the true winner would be able to stop it if given the mandate he won DeLaRue: The sad reality is that the government can't eradicate kidnapping.
As a civilian, I have spent time thinking about potential solutions to kidnapping and other security problems, but no solution can eradicate these issues.
You can be kidnapped sitting in your house. Even if your house is located next to a police station or a military barrack, you can be kidnapped. No where is safe. There are simply too many who are bent on criminality and they will not desist.
Even if the government employs 1 million police men and women, it won eradicate kidnapping. That's even not possible as the 45,000 that we have currently we can't even fund them properly.
Please note that I am not saying your question is improper, of course it is. The government must continue to be put under pressure to do more.
But we can't say the President must not entertain visitors because there is kidnapping in the country. |
