I'm not talking of nasty characters(I agree we can be rude and aggressive sometimes), I'm talking of tribalism specifically. Yorubas have a lot of good behaviors but tribalism is one thing I know is prevalent in SW
TsbAfrica:
see I am Yoruba , but even I myself have issues with somethings with some certain Yoruba people I come across but not withstanding it doesn't make me prejudice it only makes me more cautious.. I prefer to judge people based on thier individual characters and that is how I navigate this world. Like I said on this forums the most people if you want to be unbiased, the people who are fund of the nasty character you proscribe to Yoruba people are igbos. So for you to hold the position you are standing on, it is informed by your lack of an open mind. Just do a little research on nairaland and you will understand

Anything for you or your family?
Alliswell248:
Nobody, I repeat nobody takes your obidients or whatever name u r call serious.
Thank God, I decided not to vote for him.
His campaign strategy was nothing to write home about, adorned with ethnic and religion coloration.

Most of his supporters are toxic, very rude, and intolerant.
Mind you, nothing for him in this country.

Are are SW always spokespersons or media? Because they're good with propaganda?
Politics › Re: They Claim To Be Tolerant But They Disowned Obasanjo by DMerciful(m): 1:47pm On Jun 18, 2023
I told you i have personal experiences which i don't wanna mention, i stayed in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun for about 8yrs combined.

Keep an open mind, do a little research
TsbAfrica:
you have a strong position with no concrete base besides what you read online in a survey that you purposely sort out to reenforce your preferred standpoint. Well I have no reason to want to convince you but take your time and look on this forum and tell me which tribe is fund of that type of behavior ... Oh I forgot... You can't be unbiased becasue you are conditioned to see a certain way.
Politics › Re: They Claim To Be Tolerant But They Disowned Obasanjo by DMerciful(m): 9:50am On Jun 18, 2023
I have several personal experiences which i don't wanna mention. I have seen surveys online where people asked the most tribalistic ethnic group....the overwhelming majority pointed to the Yorubas. Just do a little research, you'll see it
TsbAfrica:
you seem to have had personal experiences so can you share? Becasue what you are insinuating is alien to me, but let me give you an instance of an intolerable Igbo man ... I have a childhood friend who is from abia state, we have been friends for ages, but ever since I started supporting tinubu even before he won the election, my friend cut all communications, becasue he is trying to be obidient. I tried to reach out but from the body language I decided to let him be for now. Now that is a personal experience, what of you ? What drives your position ?
Politics › Re: They Claim To Be Tolerant But They Disowned Obasanjo by DMerciful(m): 9:35am On Jun 18, 2023
If you're conscious of your surroundings and you talk to other nationalities around you, they'll tell you. I believe you're not hearing it for the first time.
TsbAfrica:
and how do you come to that conclusion ?
Politics › Re: They Claim To Be Tolerant But They Disowned Obasanjo by DMerciful(m): 9:33am On Jun 18, 2023
You must hate Nigeria to suggest known criminals will cage you for 16yrs. Don't you wanna be president?
Akungitit:
Are you going to cry like this for the next 8 years of President Tinubu and another 8 years of President El Rufai?
Politics › Re: They Claim To Be Tolerant But They Disowned Obasanjo by DMerciful(m): 9:31am On Jun 18, 2023
He is batified now, which is a testament to your two-faced nature, never loyal! The Easterners stuck with the PDP for years because of the liberal market policies the PDP operated while they held power and even when they lost, the still held on until PDP did not allow Obi who was their best person then.

You brother abandoned Obi within a short time because of the usual double mindedness.
Gobengroup:
You cannot divide an ethnic along religious line, especially the Yoruba... We've many heterogeneous religion ethnic in Nigeria... I'm a Christian and I voted Tinubu because of his competency and track records in governance, likewise my family( Father, mother, sisters and brothers)... I've Muslim in my family and they also voted Tinubu, and also a brother that voted Obi (Although he's batified now lol)..😜
Politics › Re: They Claim To Be Tolerant But They Disowned Obasanjo by DMerciful(m): 9:26am On Jun 18, 2023
You're not, infact, you guys are the most tribalistic people on Earth
TsbAfrica:
Who are "they"?... Show your bigoted head and stop cowardly throwing side jabs ... You know you want to say it so let me help you, by they are you referring to Yorubas ?

Ok .... yes we ignored Obasanjo what did you expect ? You think we are sheep like obidients ? We think!!! What do you think ronu means ? and if Obasanjo is sidelined you bet that is where he suppose to be at this present stage in his life.

Oga expand your mind and stop carrying tribe on your head... If you were born in Ghana as a Ghanaian all the things your bitter about would not even cross your mind.
Also you can not say we are not tolerant becasue the evidence on ground as I type shows that we are .

Obi will be sworn in because he won with a wide margin and this would be proven.
helinues:
For how long would some of you Obi supporters would continue deceiving yourselves? Even Atiku and his supporters who came second have stylishly moved on but Obi amd his supporters don't want us to hear words.

With all the court proceedings so far, which credible evidence have Obi brought to court to show how he indeed won the election, same LP that don't have ten thousands of agents to monitor the election at the polling units.

This una unnecessary noise is becoming irritating, move on cos nothing, I repeat nothing can stop Tinubu from completing his first 4 years except baba God.

Make una rest and channel una energy on better things
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Legal Team And Their Witnesses An Embarrassment- Reno by DMerciful(m): 10:45pm On Jun 17, 2023
Great you left the Obidient movement. You're a disgrace and extremely shallow in reasoning. You think court case is like appearing before village king to judge matter!
Zxcvbnmghtr:
If Peter Obi was a clear winner of the election there would have been a very wild demonstration leading to chaos and anarchy the moment Tinubu was announced as the winner. It will not be about going to court at all.

I stopped being Obidient the very day Tinubu was sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Because after all the prayers, the fasting, the night vigils, the prophecy by 'respected' men of God all has turned out to mean that God is on Tinubu's side and not the other side.

I prefer to be on the side of who God is clearly showing kindness to, a winner and so far since his inauguration everything about this administration has been positive, positive, positive. I heard that Bill Gate will be coming to see Tinubu next week.

The court case has sincerely been an embarrassment of human intelligence. Nothing has come out of it, absolutely nothing despite all the boasting by Peter Obi whose petition case will round up by Tuesday next week and still NOTHING has come out of it.

Don't you know Obi is also challenging the results even where he won!

Is obi now saying his 6m vote is authentic while others are fraudulent....

Obi won with a wide margin and whther is IREV results or form EC8As from polling units, if collated independently, Obi won.

Tinubu and Atiku knows this.
BATified23:
Show me where he said it has to be done at the polling unit. Thanks

Where did it mention real-time? Did it say instantly? 😁

Did it say immediately before officers leave?

Where did INEC promised you real-time?

Where? 😁

We saw this at the beginning of Bubu's govt. Chasing enemies rather than genuine anticorruption fight.

This is complete playing to the gallery and normal Lagos-Ibadan propaganda machinery at work.

After this circus, they'll come back to meet real issues.

Grayoso:
He is not a sadist and irredeemable hater like you. Leaders are chosen to solve problems.

If they are doing that, then most normal and objective people will put personal reservations aside to support and appreciate them for providing solution they can see and feel. As simple as that.

I think some of you don't recognise the evil in yourself that has made you so twisted to the extent you are resentful of progress you and your generations unborn will benefit from only because such is being delivered by those you hate fundamentally.
Politics › Re: I Supported Peter Obi But, So Far, Tinubu Is Making The Right Calls by DMerciful(m): 7:06am On Jun 15, 2023
So because of that you no longer support
Obi?
Workch:
Thr removal of subsidy (albeit, he did it to early), electricity and floating of naira is a very good call. Tinubu has mitigated, to a very substantial degree l, the corruption happening within CBN, the power sector and NNPC.
The flaoting of naira alone will create a business friendly environment for investors, with time the removal of subsidy if followed up decisively will create an environment that will boost businesses. The electricity bill is a masterclass, results will started coming forth soon. It's what we have been asking for, decentralized these things and let investors come and determine the pace.

I think that this is what Peter Obi would have done and Tinubu is doing them. I'm impressed so far l, however it's early to judge him finally.

What did Hope Uzodinma come with? 4th!!!. Who is Imo State gov again?
Truthday:
I just look at the so-called obidients dreaming of obi coming out well from the Tribunal, that's nothing but a joke. If the election tribunal approves illegalities in the court, obi can never be declared winner, he came a distant third. If anyone will be cheerfully given the Presidency, that should be Atiku Abubakar who came second. So, the election tribunal will only call for re-run of the presidential election if there are enough evidence of illegalities. And be rest assured that with recently happenings, Tinubu will still win the election re-run. Igbos cam never achieve presidency in Nigeria, of they keep hating every tribe and race rather than building their political influence
Politics › Re: Why Are People Crying More Than The Beraved For South East by DMerciful(m): 6:51am On Jun 14, 2023
People celebrate political positions that has no positive influence on their lives, just feel good feeling and bragging rights.

They lose focus of what's important but dwell on ethnic and religious sentiments.
